Apartment located within a property adjacent to the owner´s own home. It was remodeled for rental to foreign tourists and there is a pleasant atmosphere in the daily coexistence of the renters and the owner´s family. The neighborhood is very safe, you can walk to banks, supermarkets, cinemas,. The beach is only 4 blocks away. all buses to the tourist are are within 4 blocks.
If you like walking, the Historical downtown is very close, enjoy the historical "Angela Peralta" Theater, cafes and restaurants and live art and dance performances.
The owner of the property also was part of the team which remodeled the historical theater, he is also a renown artist who owns the "Espacios Sublimes" Art Gallery, right across from the theater.
If you need information about places to visit, small old towns, restaurants with regional dishes, the owners can give you information and sometimes the owners have the time available to go with the renters, sharing gas expenses.

This apartment has been designed and decorated by the architect owner. The warm colors of the walls and furniture ,the all new appliances, the memory foam mattress, the tiled bathroom and fully loaded modern kitchen including washer and dryer bring total comfort to the stay. Any small problem that did arise was dealt with immediately. The Location is perfect to enjoy the "real " Mazatlan. Only four blocks to the beach, palapa restaurants and beautiful sunsets, yet it is a local neighborhood with taco stands, friendly spanish speaking neighbors, small tiendas, a large mercado with a great carniceria, venders on cycles and a exceptional seafood restaurant at the end of the block, El Torito. The area includes many banks with convenient ATM's, easy access to many bus routes. The very best of this location is the landlord and his family. They are caring, helpful and dear people. We are very lucky to call them our friends. They have added significantly to our Mexican holiday and we are looking foreward to returning soon. We were the first tennents to stay in this lovely totally new apartment and we highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a taste of real Mazatlan.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.
