Welcome to the 'LAKESIDE RETREAT' on beautiful Friendship Lake. This lake house built in 1901 is a large 4 bedroom, 2 bath home built on the shores of Friendship Lake with an awesome view of the Mound (bigger than a hill, smaller than a mountain). We have lovingly maintained the charm of the original home with modern updates to make it a comfortable place for large gatherings.
In this wonderful cottage you will find a Master Bedroom with an ensuite bath and Queen sized bed upstairs. The 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds and room for an air mattress if needed. The third bedroom upstairs has a trundle bed (2 twin sized beds) and lots of room.
On the main level you will find another Master bedroom with a Queen sized bed, (a great room for those who don't want to climb stairs), the living room with a TV, DVD player and a full sized sleeper sofa. There is an extra sofa in the living room. We have a sitting room on the main level too which has another trundle bed (which makes into 2 twin beds). The sunroom (approximately 10' x 25') looks out to the yard and the lake. The sunroom is a great place for relaxing and dining. In our huge kitchen you will find a full size refrigerator, stove (with oven and 4 burners), twin sinks and plenty of dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans, and frying pans. Even a big pot for cooking corn.
In the lower level there is a 'Cave'. Yes, there is a bar with bar stools, a pool table, sofa and a TV with DISH TV. Decorated by a man with guy things and singing fish!! Could also be a great playroom.
Outside in the yard you will have lots of room to 'play' on our big lawn, campfire pit and BBQ. Get up close and personal with the lake on our dock or bring your boat. Friendship Lake is 155 acres - waterskiing and tubing are permitted. We have lots of parking for all your toys.
You will bask in the relaxing atmosphere of this home. It is a wonderful place to reconnect with yourself, nature or the whole family. Take your morning coffee to the sunroom where you can sit and stare at the beauty just outside the door. Relax in a comfy chair on the lawn while you ponder the possibilities of your day. Whatever you plan to do it will be a wonderful experience at the Lakeside Retreat. Bring the whole family there is lots of room. Located just outside of the Town of Friendship it is an easy walk to restaurants, movie theatre, bars, bowling and the park.
A great place for summer and winter fun.
Wisconsin Dells is just about 20 minutes down Highway 13 to all the fun and excitement of the 'Dells'. And when you come back to the cottage you can enjoy a sunset cruise on the lake in the Pontoon Boat or take out the canoe or Peddle Boat. As evening sets get out the marshmallows for a campfire by the lake. IT IS THE COMPLETE COTTAGE EXPERIENCE!!!! Come and enjoy!!!

This was a very clean older home with a very large back yard directly on the lake. My family enjoyed the place including the pontoon boat that was included. I would recomend this over any hotel room any day. Thanks MikeRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

It is great place for those who like fishing or riding boat in lake. We stayed full time in lake it was great fun.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Wisconsin Dells:
We bought this home on the lake because we love the location - close to town but the lake is just out the back door. The views of the lake and Mound are breathtaking. We really enjoy the convenience of being close to everything but still have the feeling of getting away from it all with a place to unwind.
