Words can not accurately describe this beautiful property and the wonderful time we had there. The pictures are accurate, the owners are spectacular to work with and the managers of the property were very helpful. This was my first time booking a rental property, I have been a resort/hotel and cruise person which does not compare to the comfort, quality amenities and quality family time spent that we had booking this trip. The location was great to get to other places with ease. We did 2 trips to St. John, went to the nearby beach and spent many hours in the pool and snorkeling right at the property. The sunrises with coffee in hand and the sunsets with a beverage of choice started and ended our day with a lot of memories in between. I will not hesitate to book this property again.

Our family went to St Thomas for our youngest daughter's wedding at the Sand Dollar Estate. My husband, 3 daughters and their husbands, one son and 2 grandkids, as well as myself loved every thing about this property. We were at the Sand Dollar for the Wedding and to get together with my husband's sisters who rented the Estate, and were very glad we had rented the Caribbean Castaway instead of the Sand Dollar. Even the sisters who rented the Sand Dollar loved our rental. We did have a couple days of lack of hot water due to rainy days and blown breakers, but that was remedied for us by Dave. This was definitely a great choice and if we ever get back to St Thomas I would love to stay here again!

One word for Caribbean Castaway, "Spectacular"! We have been very fortunate to travel the world and stay in many beautiful places. We love this home and the "BEST" location on the island. There is nothing I would change and agree with another review, that all the rooms in the house are exceptional. All the bedrooms are large, beautiful colors and your own bathroom. The cottage is amazing with a beautiful custom made stone shower! Every room has very high end details and a large gourmet kitchen. If you have friends that don't want too much sun, they can enjoy the patio while watching and participating with those hanging by the infinity pool! This is the house you book year after year, because it feels like your private home, not a rental property. ENJOY!

I cannot express enough how beautiful this home is and comfortable for 6 couples to stay at. It had everything that you need to feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our vacation. Dave and Dawn were fantastic care-takers for this place too.... We will be back to visit for sure.....

This villa is so wonderful. It has everything anyone would ever need. We are looking forward to spending our next Christmas vacation there again. The people we worked with were very helpful and friendly. The whole family had a great time. It is close to everything you could ever need . The rooms in the villa were emaculate, as were the grounds. Perfect vacation spot. It was a great experience from the minute we got there until the day we left.

Beautiful, Surreal, Relaxing, Peaceful, Convenient, Amazing and so much Fun!! Couldn't ask for a better honeymoon getaway. Caribbean Castaway is perfect for families, friends and couples. Young or old, there is something to enjoy for everyone. Everything about this property is over the top out of this world. You can stay in and enjoy the amazing infinity pool and beautiful views and snorkle right out back. Or you can ride less than 5 minutes down the road to Red Hook and enjoy awesome food, great drinks, and good people. My husband and I really enjoyed hopping on the ferry and spending the day at St. John. I would strongly suggest Caribbean Castaway to anyone who needs a break from the every day stresses. It's the perfect place to clear your mind, kick back and relax. My husband and I would like to thank the property owners so much for allowing us to have this opportunity. To be able to share such a beautiful home together for 7 days of heaven was more than we both could ever had imagined. If you are reading these reviews because you are interested in this vacation rental please take note that there are 30 reviews for this property and each person gave their overal experience 5 out of 5 stars! Absolutely Perfect!

Ok, we are also going to fall into the camp that we are reluctant to give a review so that we will be able to rent this place again but this must be shared. This was our 6th trip to St. Thomas. We have stayed at the Ritz, Sugar Bay, Sapphire Beach and private homes. This one was the absolute best! The house was absolutely beautiful from every angle. Everything you need was provided for. If something was amiss the house managers were there to promptly to rectify the situation. The best part of this house the location. Red Hook is where you want to be in St. Thomas. There is a small path to walk to Smith Bay beach but we found it easier to load up the van with the (provided) chairs and cooler and head the 30 seconds to Sapphire Beach. It is our favorite beach on the island with nice views and great snorkeling. The snorkeling is excellent right off the back of the house as well. We ate in a few nights at the house (the Cost Plus was a good place to load up on food) and the rest at restaurants 3 minutes away in Red Hook. We hit a few bars there including Duffys which was fun as usual. Our favorite day trip was hopping on the ferry 5 minutes away and renting a jeep in St. Johns to see the beaches. You MUST go to Maho Bay and swim with the sea turtles and stingrays. AMAZING! We also took the ferry one night to go to Zo Zos in St. Johns for dinner. Highly recommended and try to time it to see sunset from their roof top bar. Back to the house, there was a great easy to use music system that let you play your ipod outside and the watch TV inside. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house was spotless. Needless to say we will be returning at soonest opportunity.

Good Friends, Good Times

Our group of nine women was thrilled with every aspect of this property. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed pool time and porch time, as well as snorkeling and scuba diving just steps away from the cottage. The bar was well stocked upon our arrival, and we added to it when we left. The owners provided fruit, juices, bagels, and English muffins so a trip to the grocery on day one was optional. Each bedroom was quite comfortabe and had it's own thermostat. We enjoyed late night movies almost every evening in the theater room. Although we spent lots of time at Caribbean Castaway, we also enjoyed a charter day sailing trip on the Scubadu, a trip to St John, and time at Coki Beach. We had dinners in Red Hook which is a short five minute drive. Joey and her husband, the owners, were warm and accommodating, and Dawn and Dave, local property managers, were very helpful and available to us throughout our stay. Do not hesitate to book this property. It is all that is advertised, and so much more!

Our week at Caribbean Castaway was perfect. The property was everything the posting indicated and more. The details and decorating were top notch and the kitchen was very well equipped. It fit right in with our plans to cook in several nights. The views from the house were great, but when you walked down to the cottage and took in all the sites and sounds it almost took your breath away. If you're looking for a place to relax with friends, enjoy days around the pool, swim, and snorkel, this is the place for you. Kudos to the owners for having such great vision to build a property like this.

Best Vacation I Ever Had

From my point of view, words can't describe the vacation I was so fortunate to have just been on. The "Caribbean Castaway" totally exceeded all expectations. The rooms, house, grounds were exquisite. There was not one thing that I would say the owners didn't think of. It was a pack an overnight bag and stay for 7 days kind of trip, everything was there for you, so relaxing. The pool and the covered patio area were 2 of my favorites. The property had something for everyone. There were 10 of us, and the outside and inside tables served us well. Dinner outside was something we looked forward to most nights. The beautiful beach that was a short walk away as well as the great snorkeling down by the cottage was a plus. Sitting in an adirondak chair under the palm trees down by the water, was also a big thrill for most of the group. The short ride to RedHook with great bars and delicious food was an additional bonus. We wanted for nothing. It was a "Perfect Vacation". I would recommend this Estate of everyone. Worth the trip. I'm also looking forward to coming back. Thanks again to the Hux's for a wonderful adventure!! Kris Lombardi

EASY place to hang out and enjoy. Too many vacations require a vacation from your vacation - not this place. Within minutes we droppped our shoes and watches and kicked back. Everything we wanted was either on the property or within a few minutes. Check out Mick @ Velocity boat charters if you want a boat for a day or two, he hooked us up with a Stemas 30 (bareboat) and all went well. Thanks Joanne, Dave & Dawn.

We just came back from a glorious week at Caribbean Castaway, St. Thomas! Having done 10 years of all-inclusive vacations we were a little reluctant to try a home rental, but we will not ever hesitate to go back to this heaven on earth. Every detail is in this home, from kitchen to beds to the outdoors! Comfort is incredible. The views are from every room in the house and you have to pinch yourself everytime you look. We were 4 families travelling together age ranges of 14-56 and this property satisfied everyone. It is spotlessly clean with all the amenities you will need. You don't even need to pack beach towels...they have that covered for you. The snorkelling right in front of their property is fabulous, I even followed a sea turtle while I was there. The owners and managers were very helpful and wonderful people to deal with. We can't wait to go back! There is a great mexican flavored restaurant at the entrance of the road that you can walk to, with fantastic food and excellent service called Pavillion and Pools. Try it! Red Hook is only a few minutes away with many choices for dining out.

I was lucky enough to go to St. Thomas for my niece's wedding. This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside & outside. The pictures doesn't even do it justice :)! I was blessed to be able to stay at the Villa with my family that I haven't seen in years and met new friends as well. My new fiance and I stayed in the cottage in which the so graciously let us have. Again....breathtaking. The views from all over the grounds were incredible! I think I have more pictures of the Villa then I do of St. Thomas....lol :)! I will without a double recommend this place to anyone and everyone! It's in a perfect location to where it's basically a hop, skip and a jump to wherever you would like to go. PERFECT!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at this villa. The entire house is roomy and well appointed. The pool is large and great for kids with the in pool shelf. We snorkeled right off the edge of the property and the sights were amazing. The stone cottage at the water's edge is a great spot for privacy from the main house. We will definitely be back - one of our best vacations ever.

I will keep this short and sweet but Caribbean Castaway can't be beat! From start to finish our St. Thomas vacation was a dream come true. The owners really thought out every detail with comfort and convenience in mind. This was my first web reservation (sight unseen) experience and I was a little nervous about making plans strictly by computer ... upon arrival my worries were replaced by amazement in the beauty of the property and home. Nicely done! P.S. Thanks for buying in a "Pack and Play" for our visit. This saved us the trouble of renting a crib for the week.

SPECIAL VACATION WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Jan 7-14, 2012 - Hopefully we told the owners and caretakers how much we loved and appreciated all they did to make our family vacation one we will never forget and how much we appreciate all they did to make us feel that for one week, we were the owners/residents (not visitors) to such a luxurious, inclusive, unbelievably amazing, truly unique home, location and experience that we can save this review for those considering if this is a place worth visiting. We are a traveling family - with ages from 1-60 who are spoiled/blessed with varying needs and wants to make a vacation special. We just can't say enough about this place and the owners. Everything exceeded our expectations. Although the pictures and writings are spectacular, they do not do justice to the real experience. It's one of the few places we've been to that we didn't want to leave after a week! Although they provide a lot for you, we brought our own snorkeling stuff, which helped so much to enhance everyone's fun. We brought a lot of food supplies with us too, which helped reduce our costs, but loved shopping in the nearby food stores. We felt safe in the house and surrounding area. The cottage was like it's own separate vacation spot and we all fought to stay there! The only negative thing we have to say has nothing to do with the owners - but we wish we knew before we went - and that's the biting bugs at night outside! It may have been the time of year or after a big rain, but some of us were too sensitive to stay out at night. But that's it for anything less than perfect. The communication with Joanne, the owner, made all the difference to us - she is just unbelievable. Because of her, we were able to know everything we needed before arrival and she and her husband, along with Dave and Dawn, saw to every detail to make a group of strangers feel like celebrities for one week! thank you all so much, and we hope to go back again! We would not consider even looking elsewhere to stay on an island other than our St. Thomas home; the Caribbean Castaway.

A Very Special Place

This year we took a New Years break and got away to St. Thomas and stayed at Caribbean Castaway. This is as close to paradise as I have ever been. The house, yard, cottage are built and maintained with so much attention to details it makes all guests feel extra special. The infinity pool is a focal point as you look over the yard with such a variety of plants something is always blooming in radiant colors. Then there's the frogs chirping, the sunrise, sailboats, snorkeling off the shoreline, beautiful fish, sandy beaches just around the bend, beautiful people, sunsets and more stars at night than one could believe exist. The sound and beauty of the ocean is so relaxing, and for an evening out to pick up the beat Redhook is just over the hill a mile or so away. Historical Charlotte Amalie is the place to go to see the old Rum Warehouses that have been restored and are now the place to buy Rolex Watches, Diamonds & Jewelry, 150 year old whisky from a variety of Distributors and wonderful cigars. I have met Ron and Joey, the owners of Caribbean Castaway. They are very special people, there is no question they want you to have the best vacation ever, you can see their attention to details in the planning of your trip, the e-mail conversations, beauty of the buildings, furnishings and layout of the house, lawn, pool and cottage. Do yourself a favor plan a trip to Caribbean Castaway, you will remember it for a life time.

Simply Amazing!

Everything in this house was done right. From the tile of the showers to the state of the art kitchen appliances, the attention to detail made this the perfect stay for our week vacation. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean, the rooms are spacious and private, the landscaping is incredible. You can walk right into the ocean and find beautiful snorkeling areas. A short walk in either direction of the property yields fantastic beaches. Our favorite part of the trip was sitting in the seats right on the water for hours, just taking in the ocean breeze and watching the sailboats float by. I highly recommend this rental! You will not regret it!

Relax, Unwind and Enjoy the View!

My husband and I went to St. Thomas for our honeymoon...with 8 other friends - and it was so fun! We got to stay in the cottage so we had tons of privacy, and we were just 12 steps from the Caribbean Sea! Every morning we would open the windows so we could hear the waves, it was perfect. The shower in the cottage is beautiful, there are seashells within the stone! You can tell there was a lot of thought put into all the small details and that's what gives this place so much character, it has to be the best place to stay in the Caribbean! The main house is absolutely unbelievable as well. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking and gathering, but we always ate our meals outside at the long table so we could admire the incredible view! There is a theater room with tons of movie options and also a large main room with comfy couches and a perfect view. We would swim right off the property and found that to be the best place to snorkel. The pool was so nice to have for relaxing while listening to music on the awesome sound system. There are 2 beaches that are within walking distance that we went to a few times and the ferry to St. John isn't far from the house. My husband and I went there for dinner one night, it's only about a 25 minute ride and it's nice to be on the water and look at all the stars. But really the house was our favorite part of the whole trip. Somehow you get the feeling of home when you're there, which makes it even harder to leave! We would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to everyone. Caribbean Castaway is the perfect setting for a memorable and relaxing vacation!

BEST RENTAL!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at this house in early November 2011. My husband and I stayed with 3 other couples and two singles for a week long friends get-away. This was the perfect place to stay. Each couple had their own secluded bedrooms with walk-in closets, luxurious bathrooms and a balcony with a view!! The LARGE shared areas were perfect for enjoying the space together! We cooked meals together in the gourmet kitchen and dined together on the huge patio table. We spent time reading and sun bathing in the pool, grilling outside, snorkeling off of the back property (the house has snorkeling equipment you can use!), star gazing, walking to two local and beautiful beaches and enjoying the perfectly landscaped grounds. At night we made use of the built in bar, the "media room" and we loved playing our ipods on speakers that can be heard all around the house. The location of the property was convenient to other fun attractions around the island and night life was easily accessible. The owners of the home went above and beyond with little touches that made the stay at their house above and beyond anything we would have dreamed of. We use VRBO to rent houses for vacation all the time and I can honestly say this is the nicest home we have ever stayed at!

If you are planning to stay on St. Thomas, stop looking for a place because you have found it and I promise you will never want to stay anywhere else again. My family and I hail from Grand Rapids Michigan and this past November we took a large group down to St Thomas for a week. Carribean Castaway looks great from the pictures but upon walking through the hand carved front door all the way through the house and down to the water front - your breath will escape you! The house itself is spectacular. Vaulted wooden ceilings, large cutting-edge kitchen with every appliance imaginable and stone counters, home theatre room complete with DVD collection, complete with the most comfortable furniture I have ever sat in. The master bedroom is enormous, complete with a walk-in stone shower that resembles a Caribbean cave where you might find treasure! The other 4 bedrooms have their own entrances from the outside and are complete with their own bathrooms and cable equipped flat screen TV's! The porch wraps around the entire house and is the perfect location to watch a quick thunderstorm roll in over the water. It houses more chairs and sofa's than we knew what to do with as well as a long table that could easily seat ten people. Walking past the porch, the infinity pool comes into view which overlooks the yard (yes there is plush grass) and down onto the honeymoon cottage (which is right on the water by the way) and finally your eyes are swept out over the crystal blue water and on to distant islands. After a dip in the pool you will want to make your way down to the waterfront with snorkel and flippers in hand. Please stop along the way to admire the extensive landscaping. There are too many species of flowers and colors to count but my favorite were some purple flowers which died each night and then bloomed again the morning!! When you get to the water you will find a peninsula which is a great evening spot to sit with friends and talk or even watch snorkelers. The water offers an entire coral reef just a few feet from the edge which extends for miles in every direction. After you snorkel for hours and have seen the lobsters, sea turtles, groupers, squid, and endless varieties of fish, you will get out of the water and wonder how you are so lucky to have found a gem like this! To sum everything up, we will be coming back to Carribean Castaway for many, many years to come...

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and what a wonderful time we had! We were met at the airport by Dawn and Dave and they escorted us to the home and showed us around and explained everything about the house to us. They were awesome to have just a phone call away. The photos on the website are wonderful except pictures do not do this home justice! It's so beautiful and peaceful. The location is great- close to town- grocery stores,restaurants and ferry if you want to go to st.John for a day trip. The snorkeling right there at the house was great. One suggestion - it's a rocky beach if your going to just swim bring some sort of water shoes. Having the pool was a extra bonus and we really enjoyed swimming with a view to die for! The owners have thought of everything you would want or need in this home its amazing!!! We are hoping to visit again soon but are worried with all the excellent reviews it will be hard to get a week it's not booked!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at "Caribbean Castaway" for our honeymoon! The pictures on here are great, but when we arrived we were blown away, everything exceeded our expectations and was beautiful. Everything you needed was right at the house, and the kitchen was great to cook in. The pool is fantastic for lounging around, and cooling off, and the ocean is just a few steps away. They have two beautiful beaches that are just a short walk from the house, that are great to go to. We traveled to St. Johns 4 out of 10 days, two of those days just for dinner, and the trip is very easy. One day we took our rental car over and went beach hopping. The house is located in a great location, Redhook. Our favorite place in Redhook was "The Big Bambooz", it has a great atmosphere, and great food. All of the resturants that we went to were great, and most of them are listed in the house binder(a lot of good information in this). I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We had a great time in St Thomas, and the Caribbean Castaway made the trip even better. The villa has a well designed floor plan, that makes it good for a group of friends or family. We have used VRBO several times from Alaska to Barbados and this villa exceeded the photos. We would recommend to most severe critic and they would be happy with the accommodations. Location is also good; on the water, beaches, and close to bars and restaurants. Our plans are make it a annual trip.

This house was amazing! I have been to St Thomas with my family for the past 3 years, and this is the most beautiful place we have stayed by far! It also makes it more special since my husband and I were married by the ocean, near the cottage! The pictures were amazing! I was so impressed with the pictures that were provided of the house, they don’t even do it justice!! The house was so clean and there were so many accommodations available! The house managers were so awesome and helpful! The house is a short ride to anywhere, and just far enough away to be quiet! I would recommend this house 100%!!

This phenomenal home has it all and the location is absolutely perfect – less than five minutes to the bars, restaurants, and marina at Red Hook! The house is huge, and everything is top of the line – from the Bosch appliances to the Bose sound system - every amenity you would ever want or need is here. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the infinity pool and large deck area looking out to the water. The sea-side cottage is amazing…if you are staying with other couples or families, get there early and stake your claim on this little jewel! The snorkeling is great right by the house, and you are only minutes away from some great local beaches - Lindquist, Sapphire & Coki – each one was unique. St. Thomas offers plenty of options for activities, but our family spent several days just lounging around the property feeling like royalty! Caribbean Castaway sets the bar extremely high, and has to be one of the top villas available on St. Thomas.

This is a wonderful property! We stayed for a week with 2 other families and were very comfortable. Spotless interior with every amenity provided, the pool was great, well-appointed kitchen, spacious bedrooms, & the theater room was used every evening. Very conveniently located to Red Hook restaurants/shops, marina, ferry and many other activities. My husband and I enjoyed falling asleep in "the cottage" to the sounds of waves crashing then enjoying coffee on the terrace overlooking the ocean every morning! Truly a wonderful vacation and we cannot wait to go back!! We very highly recommend this beautiful property!

This is a must to visit, one of the most beautiful Villa's on St Thomas. Main house and cottage built with excellent details and finest quality workmanship. Hand carved palm trees on front door, infinity pool, landscaping with never ending flowers,palm trees, colorful birds and frogs chirping in the evening. The view from the house and porch look out over the pool, beautiful yard and onto the ocean. Great house for entertaining, large kitchen, media room, ocean view from bedrooms. Two beaches within walking distance, great snorkeling, several marinas to charter boating trips. Red-Hook is just 5 minutes away. A vacation here is truly "living a dream".

We really enjoyed our time at Carribean Castaway. The view is phenominal and it is a perfect setting all around. Wake up to the sound of the waves crashing and feel the ocean breezes. You go to bed with the same breeze and waves crashing. The house is decorated perfect for the setting and very enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked and makes it easy to prepare meals. You have your choice of eating inside or my favorite outside. The pool is just a few steps away and the ocean is right on the edge of the property. You would never have to leave to enjoy all the ammenities of St Thomas. You are very centrally located to great restaurants and shopping. A great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a week in February. It was fantastic. The views are breath-taking, the location is absolutly incredible and the accomodations are tops. The ammenities exceed any rental property we have used. The kitchen was fully equiped as was the laundry facilities and the entire villa. When we arrived the property was spotless and well maintained. The property is brand new and fantastic. The villa has 6 very private rooms that can be accessed directly from the pool area or outside. The landscaping is incredible, the decor of the villa excuisite all adding up to a very enjoyable vacation. We took the ferry from Red Hook over to St. Johns and did some shopping and dinner, which was a fantastic day! There are many nice restaurants convenient to the property and it is a short trip to Charlotte Amelia for a "day of shopping". My husband walked to edge of the property and snorkeled in the Carribean everyday and the fish and underwater sights were incredible, not to mention you only need to walk out the door to access the beach and snorkeling. There is also a walking path which accesses one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I would HIGHLY recommend this villa to all who are looking for an exquisite vacation experience! As you can tell, I can't say enough good things about it!

One week in paradise !!!! CARIBBEAN CASTAWAY is absolutely fantastic, this brand new villa was our home pre super bowl week 2011.There were a total of 12 of us and every room was as nice and private as the next, the master bedroom at the one end of the house is separated by the giant family room, media room and kitchen from the other 4 bedrooms which are at the opposite end of the main house, each of these private rooms are very large and with their own private bathrooms flat screen TVs and private balconies .The stone cottage is where we were lucky enough to spend our week at the water’s edge and is the most private and beautifully surrounded by tropical landscaped gardens and daily visits from the local iguanas (see pictures).This is our 3rd visit to USVI and each time trying a new villa…We have found paradise… Caribbean Castaway. The greatest thing is you are 5 minutes to downtown Red Hook for shopping, dining, scuba shop, and more rum!!!, a short walk to a almost private beach and some of the best snorkeling I have ever done from shore or by boat, My wife and I are certified divers of 30 years + and this location has its own private lagoon (see pics) where you can swim, snorkel and dive.. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Thousands of fish.. That is all I am saying about that. The sunsets are picture perfect from the cottage, pool deck area and all the rooms .This villa is a vacationer’s paradise, down a mile plus driveway well off the beaten path. This place was set up perfectly, from the large pool, well equipped kitchen, pool side bar, and sound system. I thank the owners for letting us enjoy a piece of their paradise, you have done a great job building your home away from home .WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR !!! Our friends are already trying to figure out when. If you are thinking about renting this villa make sure you draw cards for the cottage, it is sooo sweet. One last thing the landscaping around this property is so amazing that you will not want to ever leave, I mean never ever, ever. Thank you again for a great place and vacation..This villa gets a 12 on a 1 to 10 scale

Staying here was better than a luxury hotel. Its like you're staying in a beautiful private villa, warm and comfortable, with a hint of old island plantation style architecture and all new appointments. We stayed in the cottage, and fell asleep each night to gentle ocean breezes and the sound of water lapping on the jetty. The villa is in the group of waterfront properties at the end of Pavilion Road. In the satellite image, the crescent shaped white sand beach to the left is Lindquist beach (highly recommended) and the white sand beach below Pavilion is Sapphire Beach. It was simply a pleasure to stay here.

My wife and I just spent 10 days at this property with 5 other couples. The 6 bedroom villa was perfect for our 12 person group and was one of the few that could handle a group our size. We traveled around the islands and snorkled in a number of locations but none as beautiful as right in front of our house. Being 5 minutes from Red Hook was convenient for grocery runs, dinner out, or taking the fairy to St. Johns but some of the best afternoons were spent at home swimming or lounging by the pool. The owners have obviously put much thought and effort into making this a special St. Thomas property.

We came with five other couples and stayed a week in this brand new, beautiful and elegantly decorated, completely comfortable villa in February. I can't think of a thing the owners didn't provide for a perfectly relaxing time away from home. The photos can't possibly do the place justice, there's so much to enjoy- the private bedrooms, the intimate cotttage, the great room, media room, the has-everything- you- need kitchen (with an ice maker for those many frozen concoctions!) the relaxing huge patio, the infinity pool, the gorgeous views, the nearby beaches - truly a paradise! Everywhere you look you're surrounded by beauty. You can snorkel or scuba right in front of the villa. I would highly recommend Caribbean Castaway to anyone who is looking for a place to have a truly wonderful and relaxing time in paradise! The only thing that could have made it better was if we could have stayed longer! As far as restaurants, try Robert's for dining on the beach, and definitely take the ferry to St John's for dinner at Morgan's Mango -if nothing else, just for the the ride on a beautiful moonlit nite!
