  We had six adults and four children ranging from 5 years to 19 years with us. The house is perfect for large families. We could have comfortably had four- five more with us. It is renter friendly. We rented the pontoon boat which added to our stay. I would recommend this for families. The house is very quiet.

  We were delighted with 525 Vera Cruz for our recent beach vacation. We had 12 family members from age 6 to 76 staying together. There was a spot for everyone with plenty of bathroom access. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with utensils so meal prep was easy. They provided a wagon, cooler, beach towels -- everything essential to a beach outing and the beach was really only 2 easy blocks away. My father in law enjoyed taking the kids to Crab Island on the pontoon boat. And, the Thursday night fireworks are spectacular from the deck. We hope to be back next year!ps to Crab Island.

We had an assortment of 12 family members from age 6 to 76 staying together, and this home allowed a spot for everyone with plenty of bathroom access. They supplied a wagon, a cooler, beach towels -- everything to make it easy to head to the beach which was really just 2 easy blocks away. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and spacious so meal prep was easy. We hope to return next year!

  This place is wonderful. The pictures do little justice for it. The inside is great, nice and open. We had many children ages 5 and under, but they all enjoyed running up the stairs, as well as the bunkbeds in the downstairs area. The boat is a little older, but definately enjoyable, and is way better than what we started with - nothing. Plenty of adult lifejackets on boat which is a plus. Location is like 2 blocks away from beach, easily 5 min walk even with kids. Definately will be back. Ted was hopeful with everything, was a pleasure dealing with while we were there. Owners were a big help as well, easy to get ahold of.

  We had a very nice stay at this home... We brought our own ski boat and found destin marina 10 min away to launch hassle free. We also rented the pontoon boat available from the owners and albeit a bit weathered, it ran great and was definitely worth the rental rate... The house itself was nice and had plenty of room. The pictures don't show how big it really is. The walk to the beach was short 3-5 min and no bother with traffic. The only negatives would be minor maintenance issues but nothing to interfere with our stay. Some things can't be helped if you get irresponsible renters. Our last night there, renters showed up across the canal and all I can say is I feel sorry for the owners of the beautiful yacht parked out back and the house... Ted was very helpful in getting us set up. Anything that needed fixing got done quickly. In all, having the access to the water and the boat was well worth the extra expense. Getting to the harbour walk by boat takes 15 min and its calm and relaxing... Free parking by aj's too... Driving there in traffic is terrible and takes twice as long. The beach was very close and lifeguards close by at all times on atvs. Neighbors were very nice and helpful with tips and hints of the area. Great house and great stay.

  We had an excellent stay at the beach house. The owners were great to rent from, very responsive and very willing to provide information about the area and the property. The house is in an excellent location to take advantage of Destin by boat or beach. The descriptions provided in the listing and other renters are accurate. The house is very clean and easily accommodated our party of 12. We rented the boat along with the house and loved it. Access to the harbor and crab island were very easy and a great time. The beach is very easy to get to just around the block...about 5 min easy walk. Many restaurants and stores in the area easy to access. Can't go wrong with this house. We will be back! Thank you

  The house and boat rental was perfect for our group of 6 adults (3 couples). The kitchen, dining room, and deck were great for our social time together - big meals and just hanging out. Then we also all had plenty of secluded space to ourselves with separate baths and plenty of privacy. It was just great. The boat was so much fun and an incredible deal compared to daily rentals in the area. And the weather in Destin in late September can't be beat - still warm and sunny! Thanks for letting us use your house and boat. We hope to return soon!

  The house was just as advertised. The well appointed kitchen was a plus for me, since we ate in and entertained during our stay. When the propane ran out, one phone call and someone brought us more. The location was perfect for us, not right on the beach, but within walking distance. Even with 13 people we were not on top of eachother, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. LOVED the sheets in the master bedroom!!

  15 of us spent Memorial Day here and couldn't have had a better time. The location is great, as it is a short drive to the grocery store and numerous restaurants. The house slept 15 of us very comfortably and during the day, we never felt on top of one another. We chose to rent the boat along with the house, which I would highly recommend. You walk out the back door and are standing on your own personal dock, with a very nice pontoon boat that fit all 15 of us. We spent the majority of the weekend on the boat, but sunday decided we should see the beach. Beach access is about a 5 minute walk from the beach, which was great. If you have a large group and are looking for the best deal in Destin, THIS IS IT!
