My family stayed in this Villa for 9 nights in March of 2013. We had 6 adults and 8 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us in this beautiful home. We are hoping to go back to Florida in a few years and looking forward to renting this home again. The owners Gill and Ed are wonderful people to deal with and made renting a home for the 1st time a breeze. Thanks again Gill and Ed look forward to dealing with you in the future.

Home away from home!

This was a home away from home for 10 family and friends for 5 days. The home is situated in a lovely community. Close to highway exits and major stores within a mile. Lots of restaurants along the route to choose from should you want to venture out. It is exactly as described and the photos are true to form. The total atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you enter the home. The open concept is specious, well maintained and clean. The decor is exquisite. The endless supplies of linen, kitchen appliances, dishes and glassware was perfect for our large party. The bedrooms are well decorated and apart from each other to be able to maintain your privacy and a bit of sanity! Not to mention the 5 bathrooms!!! The pool and spa alone was the place to be.. even in November. There is a large game room with plenty to do and if we stayed longer we may have taken advantage of it. (this was a big hit with my son as he is a sports fan.. he thinks you should have more Boston memorabilia instead of Chicago!) Everyone wants to come back to this home.. Its just a matter of time. Thank you Ed and Gill for providing such a warm and friendly home. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Until we rent again!

Florida Star Villa

Everything at this Villa was perfect, and exactly as promised! We had so much fun and utilized everything it had to offer, especially the beautiful pool! It was very close to needed amenities (Walmart, CVS). It was spotless when we got there! Everything was stocked very well like the dishes, towels, etc. I'm so thankful we got to spend our trip here and will definitely be coming back! Christina Brown

5 Star Vacation Home

We just returned from the most amazing family vacation @ Florida Star. I found this amazing house on Home Away and this was the first time that we had ever considered renting a house instead of staying on Disney property. I must admit I was very nervous renting from complete strangers but Gill & Ed were very understanding doing whatever they could to put my mind at ease. Upon arrival we found the home spotless (and I own my own house cleaning company!) The home is just beautiful and it is equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Rest assure the home looks exactly as you see it in the photos. We had only spent 1 day here and I was already on the house computer emailing Ed & Gill to book another week here next year!! I'm sad to say that the home is not available next August but we are looking forward to returning in 2014 - it is worth the wait. If you are looking for an amazing family vacation your search is over.

You've got to consider the Florida Star!

We had a fantastic time at the Florida Star! Seven bedrooms keeps even the largest family (ies) from piling up on the floor! This huge home sleeps 14 in the beds with two other fold-outs! The kitchen has everything you could ask for, with all appliances available, up to date, and in good working order! You'll love the whisper quiet dishwasher. The garage has been madeover into a game room with a foosball table, an air hockey table, and a pool table! Ambiance is added with assorted sports photos and memorabilia. Out back, you'll enjoy the swimming pool and spa, perfect for use after a day at Disney, Universal, or any other activity! An added benefit is the wonderful owners you'll encounter, Gill and Ed. They will stay in contact with you and willingly answer any questions you might have. They were very gracious to us giving us an extra day on the front end of our stay to accommodate some unusual circumstances.
