Excellent unit. Owner was absolutely fabulous to work with. Handy Resort at Squaw Creek Shuttle took us to the village without a hitch. Staff was also fabulous. Combined the best of both worlds - comforts of a home unit with the service of a resort.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

I have stayed in this unit many times and it is even better than the owner's description. It has many personal touches that make it feel like your own rather than a "rental unit." All details regarding location, appearance, and amenities are 100% accurate. The unit has been maticulously maintained and the owner is extremely helpful and very knowledge regarding the entire Lake Tahoe area; able to recommend restaurants and activities available beyond the resort. The staff at the resort are welcoming, gracious, and extremely helpful. This begins with an excellent first impression created by the valet service and continues throughout your contact with all resort personnel. They even provided my sister with a complimentary wheel chair to use the entire time we were at the resort. All of the resort's areas are easily accessed via wheelchair. My last stay was the first week of September 2010 and you could not ask for better weather with brilliant blue skies (never saw even a wisp of a cloud), temps in the 70s during the day and very comfortable mid 40s - low 50s at night. I have also stayed in this unit during the winter, with perfect weather and conditions for winter activities. A ski lift is also on the property just steps away from the building. All of the restaurants, shops, and activities on the property are first class. I would definitely recommend this unit at the resort to anyone looking for a pampered, relaxing stay with fantastic views and wonderful amenities to a vacation full of activites, sights, shopping, restaurants, and adventures.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
