Oceanfront with private pool, Casa del Pescador is a luxurious, yet casual vacation home resting serenely along the Bay of Banderas in the exclusive residential community of La Puntilla. Casa del Pescador is Unit 5-A in this new, gated, and secure complex of 19 luxury homes located just 20 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport between Bucerias and the small fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle on Mexico's Pacific Coast.
Mediterranean architectural style is evident in this 2,000 square foot home with it's high vaulted ceilings, cupolas and red tiled rooftops. Dramatic open spaces, stained glass windows, exotic-wood doors and cabinets and sparkling white marble throughout deliver true elegance to this home.
Casa del Pescador has three private bedrooms and three bathrooms and comfortably accommodates six. The master bedroom, living room, and dining room are all located on the ocean side of the house. The master bedroom with king-size bed and marble en-suite bath with soaker tub and shower opens onto the poolside patio with it's panoramic ocean view. The second bedroom with king-size bed opens onto the landscaped front garden and boasts an en-suite bathroom with full-size marble shower. The third bedroom with queen bed also opens onto the landscaped front garden and has a separate marble bathroom with full-size shower.
There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, four burner gas stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a vast collection of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. And of course, there's a blender for those frosty tropical drinks! There is English language satellite TV in the living room, a CD player, VCR and DVD, and a breakfast area where you can enjoy a quiet meal, as well as a spacious dining room that opens onto the poolside patio, and a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.
High speed and wireless internet access (bring your laptop), phone and FAX are located in the home office in the 3rd bedroom allowing you to stay in contact with business and home while you relax at Casa del Pescador.
After a day relaxing around the pool or a visit to one of the many local points of interest, you might decide to either cook at home or wander over to one of the many good restaurants in La Cruz or Bucerias. Perhaps the 35 minute drive into downtown "Vallarta" and an evening stroll along the malecón is in order.
A security guard is at the gated entrance 24 hours a day, and a security patrolman is on the beach in the evenings and throughout the night. Our American, English/Spanish speaking Property Manager, Michelle will greet you on your first morning to answer any of your questions. A handbook in the house details pool, lawn, and maid service, and we provide a list of things to do as well as a list of some of our favorite restaurants, along with local maps.
If you can pull yourself away from this exquisite oceanfront home, there are many activities for both daytime and night time lovers in La Cruz, Bucerias, and downtown Puerto Vallarta. La Cruz and Bucerias have a number of great restaurants, souvenir shops, and small grocery stores which are within walking distance of the house (10-30 minutes).

We have had a great week staying in your beautiful home--it is very comfortable. We enjoyed jumping in the pool several times a day to cool off. We truly enjoyed the solitude, pool, beach and comforts of home during our week stay at Casa del Pescador. Sad to say it ends tomorrow! Mucho Gracious! Where do we begin? From the planning stages of our vacation you have made this a very pleasant experience. The website, your recommendations and organization along with a few phone calls to Marilyn we felt confident about our trip. But then when we arrived! Breathtaking! Absolutely fantastic! We are a family that spent seven beautiful days together, exploring the beautiful area, meeting wonderful people and visiting the beaches you recommended. Our favorite--Sayulita...beautiful, quieter, sandy beach..... wonderful restaurant where you can rent tables and chairs and the best guacamole in the world. From bogie boarding to snorkeling--visit Oscar in Punta de Mita--he will take you to coves and places you would never get to! We only touched on our adventure here and as we understand from home, an April snowstorm awaits us, but somehow it is okay! WOW!! We did it all! Hair braiding, parasailing, shopping, buying, the beaches, the boggie boads! Collecting shells and stones and so much more! Thank you!! Carlos O'Briens--Good Lord! Wall to wall people-! As we pack to leave our week in Paradise we wish to thank you for this time in your lovely home! Everything was fabulous! Your accommodations were excellent! We love the non-touristy vacation....The Mango Grill & Hector Lopez was one of our favorites. Catching a bus or a cab to Bucerias was a frequent trip too! Everyone was friendly and with no more Spanish than "Hola" and "Gracious" we did pretty good in communicating. It was a great, great trip! Mucho Gracious!!
