Ultra-convenient beach condo on the Gulf side with a short walkway that is only steps to the beach... right next to the units. No driving and parking to get to the beach... You are there!
PROFESSIONAL UPGRADES & ACCOMODATIONS ... The small newer complex, of only only nineteen (19)units was built new in 2000. Our theme is classy nautical. The complex is very family friendly on the quieter end of Okaloosa Island. Golfing, water parks, jet-ski, charter fishing, shopping, and lots of fresh seafood are only minutes away. The quiet pool and sun deck area are located in the center of the complex with a new outdoor grill area right next to it.
CONVEINANCE... Our main balcony overlooks the pool. There is also a second seperate balcony too off the master bedroom for privacy and coffee in the morning. The units are surrounded by nice tropical landscaping. Walk down the quiet beach walkway that is right next to the units and go for a swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Come back then cool off in the pool afterward. Stress relief and family fun is what this place is all about! Relax you have come to the right place, now get ready for fun.
UPSCALE DECORE & AMENITIES... Our condo can sleep six people. One private master bedroom with a king-size bed, separate private balcony, and separate private door to bathroom. One pullout queen sofa in the living room and two bunkbeds located off the hallway and out of the way, great for the kids and private for the parents! The condo has a full-size kitchen... dishes, cookware, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher, all linens, and towels.
EVERYTHING YOUR FAMILY NEEDS... There is one full bath with two entrances, cable TV (two) one in living room and other in master bedroom, DVD in living room, A/V jacks for play station, AM/FM/CD stereo, and lots of clean Florida beach breezes! The other balcony off the main room overlooks the pool. This is a GREAT FAMILY VALUE! You will LOVE the homelike accommodations, price, and all the convenience.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your cottage. It was exactly what we were looking for and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the beach was beautiful. I am a Florida realtor who sold their primary home and needed a safe and clean haven for three months. Jim's completely furnished beach cottage was the perfect answer. If I become a snowbird, I will want to return to Okaloosa Island and Sunset Cottage. The beautiful white sand beach is just steps from my door. Our family had a great time at Sunset Cottages. The condo was clean and close to the beach. We were glad that we were able to bring along our dog Max. The beach was beautiful and wasn't too crowded, we even saw dolphins swimming in the gulf. We were close to many restaurants and enjoyed dining in FWB. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your condo.

Our family had the pleasure of staying in Jim & Bab's cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed this little piece of heaven. The unit was clean, modern, spacious and in a prime location. There are some nice restaurants a short drive away as well as many other activites. Steps to the beach made our vacation that much more enjoyable. We hope to make staying at Sunset Cottages a family tradition!!

We just stayed at Jim and Bab's condo for the 4th year during the week following July 4th. The condo is super - roomy, comfortable, attractive, great floor plan, spacious, and contains everything one needs except clothing and grocerys. The beach is beautiful and clean with lounge chairs and umbrellas available at minimum cost. There is wireless internet available in the condo for connection to the world outside Ft Walton. There are some great eating places a very short drive away - a different one for every night of the week. I've already told Jim that I'm looking forward to being there in July of 2008. It has been a great week in Ft Walton each year that we've stayed there.

JIM & BABS, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LETTING US STAY AT YOUR CONDO. IT WAS SO COZY AND COMFORTABLE TO STAY AT. IT WAS NICELY DECORATED, VERY CLEAN AND WELL CARED FOR. THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. IT WAS SO CLOSE TO ALOT OF GREAT RESTAURANTS, THE FISHING PIER, THE AQUARIUM AND MUCH MORE. WE LOVED THE FACT THAT YOUR PLACE WAS JUST A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH AND THAT IT WASN'T AT SOME BIG OVER-CROWDED RESORT. THE CONDO HAD A GREAT VIEW OF THE POOL TOO. Hi Jim and Babs- We have stayed at your condo twice, (once in the summer and once in the fall)and loved it. Very nice and clean. My children love it also. Very family friendly and close to shopping and dining. We will defintely be back.

Thank you for looking at our condo. It is our second home and vacation paradise. We live in the City / Downtown Atlanta and enjoy getting away to this piece of relaxation as much as possible. When we do not use our unit we rent it out to select families. This is the first year we have had an online guestbook. We have always maintained a hard copy written guestbook at the condo since 2003.
