Because it is a gated community, the beach is to your own not crowded like the public beaches. Come and experience a special area of the beach where the sunset is such a magnificent sight with the horizon in pinkish-orange color and the sun slowly descends until it dissappears. When we are in Seabrook Island, we usually make plans to go to this special spot and marvel at the beautiful sight sight. Seabrook Island is adjacent to Kiawah Island. They are about 10 minutes driving distance from each other.
Stay at our vacation villa and capture the beauty of the changing tide right before your eyes on the deck overlooking the marsh. You can launch a canoe during high tide in the back of the villa and maneuver through the inlets and marvel at the unique marshes and wildlife that abound this beautiful island. See the spectacular sight of the stars and the moon and their reflection on the tidal creek at night from the crabbing dock tower.
Just a few minutes walk from this villa is the community swimming pool, boat dock, and the fishing/crabbing dock that the whole family can enjoy. Watch the magnificent sunrise from the deck of the crabbing dock or on the beach. Soak into the most beautiful sunset you ever saw as you swim on the warm ocean water just 5 minutes drive from the villa. Body surf with the waves or enjoy a relaxing stroll by the white sandy beach. Dolphins are frequently seen swimming gracefully along the ocean.
Seabrook Island fortunately has been spared from Hurricane Hugo so it boasts towering palm trees and ancient oak trees draped by Spanish moss. The island is a natural wildlife sanctuary. Savor the beauty of cranes, herons, egrets, butterflies, and a variety of birds. If you are looking for a peaceful place, this is the place for you - community noise control and 25-mile speed limit are enforced. Biking or horseback riding is a wonderful way to tour the island and the beaches. Reserve now for a vacation get-away in this beautiful island.
The villa is decorated with furnishings from Hawaii since we are from there. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The spiral staircase leads to a bedroom upstairs with a full-size bed. We call this room "Queen Lilioukalani" because it has a picture of a Hawaiian princess. The living room has a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa and the sunroom, with wall-to-ceiling windows, also has a queen-size sleeper sofa. The deck is draped by a Spanish-moss-laden oak tree and has a birdfeeder and we provide bird food for you to use. We also have beach mats, straw hats, boogie (body surfing) boards, floaties, and crabbing equipment.
We also have another vacation beach rental at: SHIPWATCH VILLA (condo on the beach), KIAWAH ISLAND (SLEEPS 2-4) Our guests at both Seabrook and Kiawah Island will be able to use amenities at these sister islands. GREAT DEAL! Two islands for the price of one.
