  We could not have asked for a better stay on South Padre Island. The photos do not do this property justice. It is very well decorated, clean and comfortable. The owner was very prompt in securing my reservation and communicating with me any time I had a question. His recommendations for restaurants were very helpful as well. I have been recommending this property to all of our relatives and coworkers because I was so impressed. The bed and couch were very comfortable. The condo is immaculate. The owner thought of everything including a dehumidifier which made the atmosphere inside the condo very comfortable (other beach rentals we have stayed in can get a little muggy or humid). We followed the advice of other reviewers and brought wasch cloths but when we arrived we found that the condo had some and actually there was nothing we that we needed to supply for ourselves outside of toiletries and food. We are planning to stay here again on our next trip to South Padre. Thanks Mario! The restaurants we would recommend are, first and foremost, Manuel's ( worth the drive to Port Isabel), Chef's, Daddy's, Dirty Al's and we absolutely had the best time at Clayton's. The food at Claytons is good and the live bands were a lot of fun.

  Arrived to a beautifully decorated condo right off the ocean in South Padre. The condo was beautifully decorated inside with a beach theme. The balcony was large with several chairs and a table to sit at. The owners were amazing; they called upon arrival to make sure we got checked in and a couple of more times during our stay to make sure everything was good. Everything was provided in the kitchen to cook and serve meals. The location of the condo was perfect. We were close to the largest bar in Padre, close to the ocean and restaurants. The entire time we were down there we were trying to figure out our next vacation down in South Padre in this condo. Thank you for everything and we look forward to staying again soon.

  My husband, 6 year old son, and myself recently stayed in Mario's condo for 7 nights. This was our first time visiting South Padre Island, and we loved it. The condo was great. The description and pictures were very accurate. My son loved the Murphy bed and the King size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items needed to prepare meals. There is a Wal-Mart located close by where you can purchase anything you might need during the stay. We bought groceries and fixed most of our meals at the condo. Mario was very easy to work with and checked in on us during our stay at the condo. He wanted to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We really appreciated the extra effort he put into making us comfortable. We arrived at the end of Holy Week which brings several extra people to the beach. We had difficulty finding parking over the weekend due to the extra traffic in the area. After the weekend passed, parking was excellent for the remainder of our stay. There are many things to do on the island or you can just relax on the beach. My husband and son went on a fishing trip which they really enjoyed. We also went on the Black Dragon Pirate Cruise. This is a great cruise for children. It is very interactive for the whole family. There were a few minor issues but they did not effect our vacation. Wash clothes are not provided, so we bought and 18 pack at Wal-Mart for $4 to use while there. If you have a child, I would recommend you pack a small hand held broom and dust pan or buy one when you get there. This would have come in handy during our stay. It would have made cleaning up a little easier. We would definitely recommend this condo. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. It is located just steps from the beach with easy access. We will look for a place more visible to store them. The hand towels should have been in the bathroom and thank you for letting us know.   We spent a wonderful week in this lovely condo on South Padre Island. First, Mario, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He took a genuine interest in making sure that our vacation would be perfect. Great communication from before we signed the contract until after we had turned in our keys and left. He's a very nice guy with a beautiful property, & we'd be happy to rent from him again. The condo is just as the photos show. It is neat, clean, and nicely decorated. The ambience is very peaceful. The balcony has a terrific view. It is a shady place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the waves, and in the afternoon, the balcony gets full sun. The kids (ages 10 & 13) liked to have dinner outside & play board games on the bar-height table after a day at the beach. The pool is very close, just within the courtyard. It is immaculate, as are the grounds. The pool was a fairly quiet place... While the kids swam, I relaxed on a chaise lounge and read. We were surrounded by palm trees & hibiscus. In late March, most of the other residents of the Tiki were retirees, but our kids did meet a couple of other midwestern families with children to play with. The pool was nice & warm as well. The Tiki is located on the quiet north end of town, which was perfect. We visited the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, which is just across the main strip from the complex. I also purchased a week-long pass to the SPI Birding & Nature Center, which has lovely boardwalks for a peaceful morning or sunset walk where you will definitely see an abundance of wildlife. Perfect spot for birders & lots of sightings of South Texas birds that you won't see elsewhere. There are several restaurants very close by, but the condo is fully equipped to allow renters to cook their own meals. A small IGA market is just down the street, and a big WalMart & HEB supermarket are just across the causeway -- Very easy to keep a stocked kitchen. You can walk next door to Claytons for a burger for either lunch or dinner. Other casual restaurants are just down the street. We hope to stay again next year in this condo during our spring vacation. It is a perfect spot for a family, a retired couple, or anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway on South Padre. Thank you to Mario V. and his family for being such delightful hosts. A+

  All you would have to do is look at the number of reviews to know that this is an excellent choice. We have been here for 5 weeks and and the place is perfect. The location is amazing, the condo is updated, clean and has everything you need. The furniture and the bed are comfortable. There is a large south facing deck, that has a patio door in the living room and the bedroom. Part of the deck does get shade in the afternoon for when you have had enough sun. This is an older complex, but it is well maintained. The pools are clean and nice and warm. There is plenty of updated pool furniture. Thank you For sharing your home. We will be back next year.

  Nice and clean. Mario called to make sure everything was ok. The few from the deck was great!!! Sat out every morning having my coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. We would recommend this property to everyone. The best part, the beach is right there for my shell hunting every morning! Loved It!!!

  This condo was so close to the beach with a great view of the ocean. It was very clean and easy to stay in. Also, it was pet friendly as is the whole island. We had everything we needed to make our stay great. Also the onsite pool was in great shape and very clean for the days when you did not want to be at the beach. We even got to know our neighbors in the 2 weeks we were here. We got to know more about the island and would recommend the island culture to travelers. It is a laid-. back culture so it is easy to relax. We also liked watching the kite surfers from our balcony. Winter Texans Come On Down To South Padre and This Condo! Kathy

  I loved the condo! Thanks for the hospitality and a great stay. This condo was perfect! You can tell the Villarreals take pride in their home. It was very clean and welcoming! There were also many extra amenities that made the stay easier and more pleasant. I also appreciated Mario making everything hassle free and quick! He even called to make sure we got checked in ok and that everything was going well. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

  My son and his wife paid for three days in this beautiful condo for my birthday. It's the best birthday gift I could ever have asked for. I loved the beautiful view from the balcony, the modern and fashionable condo equipped with everything we needed to cook at home, the spacious and upgraded bathroom, and the comfortable bed for 9 hours of sleep every night! I don't want to wait for my next birthday to stay at this lovely condo--I want to stay a week! We had perfect weather and spent lots of time of the beautiful beach just steps away from our door. Thanks again to the owners who were in touch with us when we arrived as well as when we checked to make sure our stay was perfect. Can't wait to come back!
