  My wife and I (with our 2 dogs in tow) decided on a relatively last minute anniversary get-away to the Leavenworth area and picked Matt's Dancing Pines based on the pics and reviews. The experience couldn't have gone more smoothly. From Matt's quick response and price compared to other places in the area, to the home, the hot tub and the peace and quiet of the "neighborhood", we loved it. The house was as clean as any hotel room with every comfort of home...my kind of "camping". It is a solid 20 minute drive to Leavenworth, so take it easy at the Icicle Brewery or the Munchen Haus. For us the location was perfect. We were less than 10 minutes from Lake Wenatchee State Park and the Kahler Glen Golf Course for great hikes and great mountain golf. We will be back!

  A very nice, spacious cabin with plenty of room to hang out. Very nice deck with hot tub to relax in. Close to trails if you're wanting a hike and close to lake Wenatchee for swimming or floating the river. Downtown Leavenworth is only about a 20min drive. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

  Before I get into reviewing my stay at the cabin, I would first like to say that Matt, the owner of the cabin, was very quick to respond to every question that I had prior to arrival. He was also very flexible in allowing me to make changes to my original reservation. His commitment to customer satisfaction was apparent from the day I booked the cabin. The location of the cabin is perfect! Only about 20 minutes or so away from both Stevens Pass and Leavenworth. An ideal place to stay if you are looking to get away from the city life, enjoy the mountains, but also not miss out on good food and beer! The cabin was very clean and spacious. Eight of us (plus two dogs) stayed here very comfortably. We experienced a minor issue with the hot tub on the first day, but was resolved right away after informing Matt about the issue. There was a wide selection of board games to choose from, but we ended up having a blast playing Scattergories the whole weekend. There was a decent selection of movies as well. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a cabin in the Leavenworth area. Its location, amenities, and most importantly, the owner who is committed to making sure you have a great time, make Dancing Pines a great place to stay. I will definitely be back again!

  I think the best part of renting this cabin was the owner, Matthew, who was extremely helpful and informative! I felt I knew a lot about the cabin and Leavenworth before I got there, just from speaking with Matt. We had a relaxing stay at the cabin which has great beds, large kitchen, cozy living room and a hot tub! Their is a large bathroom with PLENTY of extra towels, and cleaning supplies. A washer and dryer as well which we could use. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Dancing Pines and really appreciate the effort that Matt took to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this cabin!

  We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin! The cabin was cozy yet felt very spacious. It was well-equipped and clean. The owner was very responsive and provided great service and communication. We enjoyed spending a lot of downtime in the cabin itself and doing low-key family activities - we watched movies, played board games, read etc. The books, board games, and movies supplied at the cabin were impressive. It was so nice to have us all four of us together, but the cabin was also big enough we could find our own spaces if we wished. It was great to have a separate sleep/play area for the kids. The kids also really liked the huge beanbag! We went sledding twice (so nice to have such a close sledding hill) and used the hot tub almost every day. The location of the cabin was also great. Close enough to Leavenworth for convenience but far enough that it still felt like a retreat. Also close to skiing and other winter activities. We went into Leavenworth downtown twice also which was a nice diversion from the cabin. We spent a day skiing at Steven's Pass and finally we did a snowmobile tour with one of the local companies based in Plain. There was not enough snow for a horse drawn sleigh ride (which was our original intention), but the snowmobile ride definitely made up for that. We would recommend all of those activities - it was hard to choose which ones were our favorites!

  Dancing Pines was just as everyone has reported in previous reviews... Excellent! I've never used VRBO before, but was super impressed. Craig (the owner) was wonderful to work with, from providing restaurant recommendations, to sending me a weather forecast, and providing sleds and directions to the nearby sledding hill. Dancing Pines is in a great location, in excellent condition, and overall a great place for a vacation.

  Dancing Pines was a wonderful family getaway weekend for us---perfect for a family with kids. Stevens Pass is about 40 mins away, and Leavenworth is about 20 mins away. We spent one day skiing at Stevens and the next snowshoeing near Leavenworth. The snow was fantastic! The cabin is very clean and cozy with lots of books and games. The owner was super conscientious and provided lots of tips on the area. There's also a great sledding hill nearby.

  We went to the cabin the week before Christmas and looked forward to some time in the snow, however we didn't expect a blizzard. When we finally arrived at the cabin after traveling 9 hours from Seattle, the power was out in the cabin due to fallen trees on power lines. We decided not to stay because we didn't know when the power would return. When we contacted Matt he was very understanding and felt bad that this had happened to us. Matt refunded our money for all nights with the exception of the first night. We did not expect the refund and were shocked that he was willing to refund our money at all. We greatly appreciated his graciousness and understanding. The cabin is lovely and in a wonderful location. If you are hesitating on renting this cabin, don't! Between the wonderful owner and amazing location you will not be disappointed. I wish we could have stayed to enjoy all the cabin had to offer.

  Enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at Dancing Pines. Very clean, well kept and pretty much has all the amenities that we needed. Very spacious with lots of room for kids to run around and dog friendly. It's a relatively short drive to Leavenworth and close to State Parks and National Forests so there is plenty to do from shopping to hiking. We look forward to staying in this cabin again

  This cabin was the cleanest home we have ever rented. We walked in and it felt like home. There is a woodstove in the living room which heated the entire house. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking which we love to do when we are traveling. This is a dog friendly cabin, there was a towel provided at the door for our pup as well as baggies outside if you forget to bring your own. The location was good for us as it allowed us to explore Lake Wenatchee State Park and the Icicle River area as well as Leavenworth. We had a couple of questions upon our arrival and were pleased at how quickly Matt got back to us via e-mail. The WiFi worked well.
