We spent 11 days at this clean, spacious, comfortable, cheerfully decorated, light filled and generously supplied basement apartment while visiting family in Salt Lake. Nice neighborhood, great views, close to walking/biking path and hiking trails, relaxing hot tub, gas fireplace. We couldn't have been happier. Great place.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This place was perfect for our "girl's getaway trip". We found plenty of room to spread out and do a craft or two. We also found lots of great shopping spots nearby. It was nice to have netflix and the internet available. The weather and scenery was beautiful. Brad and Laura went out of their way to have things clean and comfortable for our stay. I would definitely recommend this downstairs apartment to anyone wanting to visit the area.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We're glad you enjoyed your stay! Please come back to Corner Canyon Retreat again!

Hands down one of the best deals on VRBO in the Salt Lake City Area. Very clean, excellent provisions with a refrigerator full of fresh fruit and breakfast makings. After paragliding and hiking all day we relaxed in the hot tub. Great views of the City at night. We'll be back.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We're so glad you chose Corner Canyon Retreat for your paragliding adventure! Please come back again!

This is now what we will call "our home away from home."It was perfect for our needs . We have 2 sons and 3 grandkids in the area and having the yard was perfect for their visits. The pictures you see on the website are exactly what you get. The place was clean and comfortable and the owners were welcoming and available if you needed them. We did lots of cooking and grilling and were impressed with the nearby store, Harmons.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We look forward to your return visits!

Stayed here for entire week with my wife for a fun relaxing vacation. It's very close to multiple ski resorts and has great things to do just for when we wanted to stay and relax. The hot tub and complimentary breakfast food were just cherries on top. We loved it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We live out of state and needed a place to stay while attending our daughter's wedding in Salt Lake City and reception in Orem. For about the same cost of staying at a hotel we decided to give the Corner Canyon Retreat a try. It was located about equal distance between the two places we needed to spend our time and it turned out to be perfect for our needs. The breakfast items provided were wonderful and most appreciated. Our mornings were already busy preparing for the wedding and reception and to have a full kitchen and 2 separate bedrooms was just like being at home. The beds were very comfortable and Laura had already setup an additional twin bed for our son. All the rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. We had all the comforts of home and are so glad that we decided stay there. We will definitely keep it in mind the next time we need a place to stay in that area.Owner response: We're glad that you enjoyed your stay for such an important event! Please come back again when you have more time to enjoy the hot tub, play Wii and relax by the fireplace!

Our family stayed here while I was on Rest and Relaxation for two weeks from Iraq. We stayed there for nine days with a rowdy two-year-old, an ornery 5-month-old (who just got her Immunizations), and a wife who was very anxious to have some meaningful family time after I had been deployed for 6 months. The place was perfect. The view at night from the hot tub was spectacular and the fireplace kept us warm in style. When we arrived, the place was immaculate - I can't say as much for its condition when we left, but we really felt welcome upon arrival. There were even some complimentary chocolate covered strawberries that lasted about 10 seconds after I saw them. Books and toys for kids. She even had a wagon to use to take our two year old to the park. The basement was easily accessible, quiet, clean and perfect for what we needed. The only issue we had was the water pressure in the shower. Though compared to the showers i Iraq I shouldn't be complaining. Everything else could not have been better. We were even introduced to the Nintendo Wii for the first time and I made my wife look bad in both boxing and baseball. We've already recommended the place to family members who often find themselves in Draper during annual family reunions. We would definitely go back if given the opportunity. Thank you for helping to make this a memorable time for our family.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We appreciate hearing about the low water pressure. As it turns out there was a small crack in the shower head. We have replaced it and the water pressure is great! Thanks for your service in Iraq and best wishes to you and your family!

My family stayed here for 6 days 5 nights a couple of weeks ago and we had an awesome time. We have already recommended it to family and friends. Laura and Brad provided breakfast foods plus more! The kids loved using the Wii and we used not only the DVDs provided but also Netflix! It is located in such a perfect spot, close to everything from BYU to Salt Lake. Laura and Brad, Thanks for making our family vacation an AWESOME SUCCESS!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This has been the most pleasurable ski rental experience in over 20 consecutive years! This apartment was modern, comfortable, affordable, and had so many extras. The unit provided two spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living area with exceptionally comfy couches, as well as a nicely appointed kitchen and dining area. The owner stocked the unit with a very nice array of breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, cereal, huge muffins!), coffee, ice cream, pizza, and snacks. No worries about the basics of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, basic cooking supplies either. No need to hit the grocery store that first day :) There is a VERY nice hybrid hot tub under a covered porch so no walking through the snow and four plush bath robes and LOTS of extra towels! Satellite TV, Wii with NetFlix, and WiFi available made down time enjoyable. The location is only a few extra minutes of easy commute to the four ski areas in the Cottonwood Canyons. Tons of restaurants and shopping are just a couple of exits away for those with the energy to venture out after skiing all day. Basic shopping and dining are available just down the street. Oh, and the views were lovely too! We will definitely rent this property in the future!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This is one of the most comfortable places that we have ever stayed. We have stayed in hotels, motels, B&Bs, and hostels all over the world, but this place tops them all for the price. We stayed for 3 days over the Christmas holiday and it was great to split the price with my brothers family. The bedrooms are located on each end of the apartment which gives you privacy if you are staying with another family or kids. The bathroom is right in the middle giving easy access from both bedrooms. The kitchen is a great size and there is a dining table as well. We were impressed with the breakfast and food in the fridge. We expected to have a few condiments, but there was cold cereal, oatmeal, milk, apple and orange juice, a fruit basket, hot chocolate, and other food and condiments. That food made a huge difference in time and money. It felt like a B&B with the food. We also loved the jacuzzi. Its in a very private area with a great view of the city. Its a newer model bullfrog so it has different jets in each seat. The location is pretty quick to the freeway. We will definately stay at this place again when we are in the area.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
