  Our family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely and comfortable condominium. The furnishings, layout, and unit placement were all excellent, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The owners were easy to deal with and extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend this property!!

  Loved this condo from the minute we stepped into it. perfect location to walk to town or the outlet mall.Chetola Resort had everything you needed---Indoor pool,beautiful hiking trails and great food and service at the restaurants.Ginger and Rick have done a wonderful job in making their home so comfortable and user friendly.Nice deck and private backyard was wonderful.Nicely stocked for the things you may have not thought to bring with you.I would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. Loved the town of Blowing Rock.Great shopping and the choices of restaurants.Nice parks to chill out and people watch! Thx Rick and Ginger!!

  Had an amazing time in Blowing Rock. We visit the mountains 4-5 times a year and are in love with Chetola. It is convenient to everything and in walking distance to the outlets and downtown! If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is definately for you.

  This condo was perfect for our stay - beautifully decorated and maintained. Everything was clean as can be. The location is very convenient and the surroundings are beautiful with a lake and close to hiking. The owner was quick to answer question and help with concerns. We have rented places in Blowing Rock before and this was far and away the best. The Manor restaurant has improved from very good to excellent.

  We've stayed in another condo on this property, which was OK, but Rick and Ginger's place is fantastic! The location couldn't be better. The layout and end unit ensured a very quiet night's sleep, and the very private back/side yard meant that we had even more living space. Inside, the condo was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our family of 4 were very comfortable. The beds were so soft and cozy after a long day of hiking in Moses Cone, and the kitchen had everything that we needed to cook a nice, evening meal. We did eat out, and were fairly happy with the food. One stand-out was dinner our final night at the Storie Street Grill. Don't get so full that you miss dessert! The bread pudding was exceptional. We also had a delicous brunch at the Village Cafe. And, of course, we hit Kilwin's almost every day for ice cream or fudge. Dinner at Bistro Roca was an expensive disappointment, with very average food. If you're into rafting, we recommend Edge of the World in Banner Elk. They were entertaining from the minute they yelled "Hi there!" to the second that we pulled out of the parking lot with all of the guides waving. Grandfather Mountain is the other little trip that we took, and it was breathtaking. Don't be too afraid to cross the suspension bridge. The view is worth it! We'll definitely be back to Blowing Rock, and will hopefully stay at Rick and Ginger's place.

  We had a wonderful weekend in Blowing Rock!! The condo was just lovely...a perfect home away from home. The location was very convenient to shopping and dining in town. Rick was so easy to work with too. Our son really enjoyed fishing in Chetola Lake and our daughter loved walking to the nearby shops. This property is perfect for a fun, family trip to the mountains!

  This ranch unit at Chetola Resort was everything described and more. The property was well maintained and the interior was charming. Everything from the adorable bear that greets you when you walk in to the comfortable beds was perfect! Rick was very helpful. We always enjoy the Chetola Resort. It is a beautiful setting and we loved fishing in the lake. We caught about 5 bass and 1 trout. Grandfather Mountain is just a short drive and it is one of our favorite things to do in North Carolina. We hope to return soon.

  This was our second visit to Blowing Rock. My wife, son and I enjoyed the cooler mountain air and chose this property so that we would be a very short distance (just 400 yds) from the trails at adjacent Moses Cone Park. It was great being able to walk out the door and go for a run on flat or hilly trails without the need to drive anywhere. The unit was nicely furnished and equipped, and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the recommended restaurants, especially Bisto Roca, and the views from the 'Canyons'.

  We stayed at the Rogers' home in Chetola Dove 5 and absolutely loved it; there was no noise since it is a ranch end unit and the one level saved our knees. There is so much yard room that we felt like we had a detached home. The inside has been updated so nicely and the charm was unbelievable. The available WIFI was also very helpful in our real estate business. We cannot say enough nice things about Chetola in general and about Rick & Ginger's unit in particular. We love to go and have been back 3 times already.

  My husband, daughter and I took my dad to Boone in April and we rented this condo. The people that own it were so nice and easy to work with. We had never done VRBO before so I was a little nervous about it but once we got to Chetola we were thrilled! The condo is decorated beautifully and has everything there that you need for a wonderful stay. It is very comfortable and located in a perfect end spot so it is like having your own home. The fact that is is right between Blowing Rock and Boone makes it the perfect place to stay no matter what you are there for. We went to Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crusis, Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain and none of the drives were far at all! It was a wonderful vacation for all - Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
