  We had a large group (12 people) and at no point did we feel like we were short on space. The house is laid out very well for group interaction on the main floor. We prefer to stay outside of South Lake as we tend to ski Kirkwood and it was a perfect set up for us. We'd definitely rent this home again.

  We brought the whole family to this house for my parents' 40th anniversary and Thanksgiving. It was perfect! Kids, dogs, thirty somethings, and the parents had everything we needed for a 5 day getaway. My parents loved the entry level master suite, topped off with a nice tub for my mom to soak in. I was very happy that they didn't have to contend with any stairs to get in and out of the house. The yard was sealed off with a fence for the dogs with plenty of room for them to run around. As we got ready to leave, we started talking up our next trip. Thank you for a great vacation.

  We stayed at Tahoe to celebrate our kids' birthday. We had a choice between Disneyland and This property and we are glad we made this choice to stay at Erik's property. Pics don't do justice to beauty of this place. It is just wonderful. My kids insisted we stay here again on their Bday!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My family has a tradition of an annual vacation. We have been doing this for 10 years. Each year we go to a different location. We loved Lake Tahoe. There were numerous things to do: We paddle boarded on the lake and worked on our tans. We took advantage of the bike trails. We enjoyed the casinos. We took the tram up the mountain and took some great pictures. The best part was the lovely home. It had a fantastic game room (pinball machine, pool table, & air hockey); lovely yard, great for bocci ball; numerous flat screen TV's; a great kitchen; plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms; and was beautiful inside. The property manager was great to work with. He even took the time to accept a package for me and drop it off at the house. He does a great job and is just a phone call away should there be any questions. I highly recommend this home. You will have a great time in a beautiful location and a beautiful home with a great property manager.

  I rented this house to celebrate my 40th birthday with a bunch of close friends and couldnt be happier with the experience. The house is spacious and well-furnished, with plenty of space for 14 grown ups to hang out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen is fantastic, very well appointed and served as a perfect common area. The deck and yard are beautiful and tranquil, and provided many fine evenings of outdoor grilling and cocktails. The neighborhood is also a plus. Quiet and relaxing with a fantastic grocery store very close by. There are hiking trails within a short walk from the front door, with many more being a very short drive away. The casinos and lake are maybe 15 min away. I would definitely stay here again.

  This is the second year we have stayed in this Vacation Rental and wish we could live here year round! The house is incredible and close to town. My grankids talk about it all year! And being able to have all 3 of my children and my granchildren in one place was so much fun! Kids got to play in the snow during the day and the adults got to hot tub at night. Something for everyone!!!This year we had to change dates because there was no snow when we were first suppose to go and they were awesum about it. Communication was A+++. Again this trip made me Mom /Grandma of the year!

  We spent much of ski week in this lovely home. It's immaculate, has an unbelievable chef's kitchen and master bedroom with amazing bath. The game room has more toys than are pictured on the website, and it's close to everything. There's plenty of room for everyone - master upstairs is perfect to provide a bit of space from the kids downstairs if needed. Website photos do not do it justice. The owners have set this rental up as a home, rather than just another rental property. We'll definitely return asap!

  Took my kids and grandkids for a 4 day vacation and had an incredible time. My Grankids called it the castle in the snow. The pictures do not do it justice, the place is beautiful!!! And the owners were a pleasure to deal with. Will be going back!!

  This home has easy access off Hwy. 50, and 10 min. To a major shopping area for extra ease while on vacation. Beautiful, quiet surroundings, comfortable furnishings and many in home activities to keep families busy. We loved our Summer stay and are sure to be back again and again!!!
