  The villa was beautiful - very clean and very well equipped. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the veranda where the views of the ocean were just spectacular. The pool is a nice plus - especially for dips in the evening and after ocean swimming. The villa is nicely situated - the neighborhood is very quiet but you are close to Philipsburg and not far from the airport where there is abundant night life and hustle and bustle if you like that sort of thing. All in all, this is a great place to stay while you are in St. Maarten. This was my family's first trip to the island and we had a wonderful time! Gary was also very easy to work with and very accommodating.

  Owner response: Probably, I would of enjoyed a lot running a "boutique hotel".. once will happened, maybe. For now, I'm happy to make our guests feel great in "La Dolce Vita"

  This is a wonderful villa overlooking Bel-Air beach. Close enough to Philipsburgh for convenience but you don't see any of the hustle-bustle from the villa. The private pool is a great way to spend the final part of the afternoon after a day at the beach. Great kitchen and indoor-outdoor livivng area and it's an easy drive to Orient Beach. Owner is a very nice guy.

  Our stay at La Dolce Vita in December 2011 was ideal. The house was very comfortable and featured all modern amenities. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and a thorough tour of the house. The house exceeded all expectations and I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in paradise.

  This house is the perfect place to stay in beautiful St. Maarten. All the amenities are top-notch. The infinity pool is especially amazing. It's a short drive from everywhere. It's well-maintained. It's hard to imagine a better place to spend a vacation.

  Our family stayed at "La Dolche Vita" for 9 days in August 2011. Great house, well maintained with spectacular view of the ocean and mountains. Gary is a very thoughtful owner, he and his property manager both made our arrival, stay and departure easy and simple. Thank you. Me and my two teenagers did a lot of diving with "Scuba Fun" diving shop at Marina close to Cruse ship terminal. I highly recommend this shop for all kind of divers. The island is great with a lot of places to see and activities to do. We went to different beaches every day. My favorite for snorkeling was Grand Case and Anse Marsel on a french side of the island. Rent a car and explore yourself. E-mail if you need additional info. One more time thanks Gary and Ina for making our vacation so memorable and worry free.

  The villa was wonderful, from the great view, to the private pool, to the modern kitchen, to the comfortable bedrooms. It all provided for a nice relaxing time. This was truly a very enjoyable experience. Having come from a timeshare environment, "la dolce vita" in this villa was a pleasant surprise! As a sidebar, the location and its close proximity to Philipsburg, provided relief from having to deal with the "bridge traffic" associated with staying near the airport. Restaurants, beaches, shopping, were within easy driving distance from the villa. The combination of Gary's thoughtfulness and his staff's willingness to help out made our stay very memorable and we'll surely recommend this villa to family and friends.

  Exceptional service from being met at the airport, to cleaning service and follow up to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Gary is an attentive owner who cares that his guests have an enjoyable holiday. The villa was clean with all the amenities one would need. We enjoyed most sitting in the lanai eating dinner over candlelight and watching the cruise ships pass by. The children enjoyed the pool and we found it very relaxing with a stunning view. The island is small that to take day trips was easy once we started finding our way around. Road signs and road conditions are not what many North Americans are accustomed to! Our only problem was with dogs barking through the night. Gary even responded to this by calling neighbours and asking for their cooperation which resolved for a couple of nights. For people who are light sleepers this might interfere with a good night's sleep.

  Beautiful villa in all respects. Close to shopping and beached, fully furnished with everthing you need except your own food. Excellent response from Owner and Property Manager. We will return.

  The ultimate honeymoon getaway… When I first got to look out on the ocean from the swimming pool, I saw a cruise ship sailing into the setting Sun, over green waves of water. This villa on Camel road has a perfect view on the Great Bay of Sint Maarten. It only got better from here… The villa is built to spend a romantic getaway. Has place for a candle light dinner from the grill in the hanging garden, surrounding the pool. One can sleep on the porch on any night of the year, with the balmy sea breeze caressing. Turn on some Columbian Raggaeton on the stereo and dance with seamless clothes on in the moonlight! Or just listen to the tropical birds sing to you in the darkness! The next morning go have breakfast on Dawn beach! French and Dutch among other nationalities will be sitting at the next table. Activities range from horseback ride on the beach, quick boat trip to the neighboring islands, watch a Boeing 747 land 30’ above your head to dance party at one of the many nightclubs on the island. Cross over to Marigot on the French Side of the Island and enjoy French cuisine in a tranquil and authentic Gallic ambience! Great, clean house, great location. Will probably go back.. Could use some photos of the Island itself, for people to see, what they can do and visit!

  We just returned from a long weekend. Had a great time. ! On arrival we had no problem getting in. Rooms clean with beds ready. Baths with warm water. Main level family room opens to the covered terrrace that has arches and provides a great view of the caribbean ocean. Pool surrounded by large deck that connects to the terrace. Geat for cookout or party ! I would recommend it for anyone who is comfortable exploring independently this dutch/french island. Need a car to get around on the island.
