Our Cottage is located inside Myrtle Beach, South Carolina most popular family resort, Ocean Lakes Family Campground. site Z-34, shaded lot with new composite decking added 2011.
Just remodeled, with top of the line granite counter tops, all new tile and wood floors, new full size appliances, TVs and an electric fire place for those chilly off season evenings.
Kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, flat ware, dishes, cook ware.
We can sleep up to 6 people. Queen size in one bedroom and full size in the other, with a pull out queen sleeper sofa. All linens and towels are provided. Renters will need to bring there own paper products and trash bags.
Shaded back deck with table and chairs plus a gas grill.
A deposit of one half of the total rent is required. The house must be cleaned before leaving. Cleaning can be provided for $150.
PLEASE NOTE-1) WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OUR UNIT. If a pet is found to be in the premises, you will be asked to leave and your payment will be forfeited. 2) Our unit is a NON-SMOKING UNIT. Smoking is allowed outside unit only. 3)A maximum of two (2) vehicles are allowed at site Z-34 in driveway only. There is Golf Cart parking with a charging station. However, there is not a golf cart that comes with this unit. You can rent one from Ocean Lakes and keep it at the house during your stay. For golf cart rental fees go to: www.oceanlakesgolfcars.com
Payment for rent must be received 30 days in advance of the date of check in. Notification of cancellation must be received within 60 days of check in and is subject to a 10% penalty of the total amount due.
Rental dates are from Saturday to Saturday. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 10:00am.
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay in the Ole Beach Place. The home was nicely decorated and clean. We loved that the house came with a golf cart and saved us some money! The home owner is very nice and easy to contact. This property is managed very well. This experience was great! We have been vacationing at Ocean Lakes since we were kids and we never get tired of it. I would definitely recommend booking this property, you will not be disappointed!

Excellent rental home!
Excellent rental home!
Upon arrival, I considered contacting the owner...to let her know how much we loved the house! We usually bring our camper, so this was our first time renting a home in Ocean Lakes and it was a wonderful experience! Carol is quick to reply to any & all inquiries, which is very important to me. The home itself is absolutely beautiful and in an excellent location. All the pictures reflect exactly what to expect upon arrival, except for the picnic table. (The purpose of that picture is to show the shed.) I appreciated the well-stocked, beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and easy-to-clean home, complete with washer & dryer and golf cart use. We are ExtRemeLy pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back very soon!

Great family get away!
Very clean and updated. Close to everything. The fact that we didn't have to rent a golf cart from Ocean Lakes was such a savings!

Great place! We had a wonderful time and will come back again. Clean comfortable and close to everything. Great to have a Golf cart to use without having to rent one from Ocean Lakes.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground Z-34 Rental Contract Rental Policies: Please note that failure to abide by our policies will result in eviction. In Season Rates: Memorial Day – Labor Day. Rental rates are Saturday to Saturday. Out of Season Rates: September – May. Weekly rental rates are Saturday to Saturday. Unit can be rented in off season for a minimum of three (3) nights. PLEASE NOTE- 1) WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OUR UNIT. If a pet is found to be in the premises, you will be asked to leave and your payment will be forfeited. 2) Our unit is a NON-SMOKING UNIT. Smoking is allowed outside unit only. 3) A maximum of two (2) vehicles are allowed at site Z-34 in driveway only. WEEKLY RESERVATIONS begin 3 PM Saturday and end 10 AM the following Saturday. A DEPOSIT of one half of the total rent is required within at time of booking. Dates of rentals are guaranteed (exception: Act of God, e.g. fire, mandatory evacuation due to hurricane) when deposit has been received. Remember that you are renting a private home. Please treat it with the same respect you would like shown to your own home. All final payments must be PAID IN FULL 30 days prior to check-in date. We ask our guests to prepare the unit for departure by ensuring the unit is left in a clean and orderly fashion for the next guests. Failure to do so will result in a $150 maid service fee charged to you to clean unit. Also, no future rentals will be accepted by you. Please see information sheet on wall of unit for check-in and check-out procedures. RENTAL UNIT: This unit is fully furnished including heat/air-conditioning, washer and dryer, color TV with basic cable, DVD player and complete kitchen facilities. We do not supply a phone. For your convenience we supply all bed, bath and kitchen linens. All we ask is that you launder these items and leave them in the house, (as you found them) for the next guests. Some items you may want to bring include paper towels, paper plates and cups, garbage bags, toilet paper, soap, washing detergents, coat hangers, and beach towels. Beds and furniture are NOT to be moved from room to room. NO FIREWORKS of any kind are permitted on Ocean Lakes Family Campground property. MAINTENANCE: All equipment in each rental unit should be in working order. Please report any inoperative equipment to us immediately at (864) 338-9567. We will make every reasonable effort to have the repairs made as soon as possible. LOST KEYS: There will be 1 set of keys in the lockbox located at the BACK door. A second set of keys will be hanging on a hook in the dining area. Each set of keys will open the BACK & FRONT door and the shed. Your lockbox combination will be issued upon final payment. At departure, please return your two (2) sets of keys one in the lockbox and the other to the hook in the dining area, scramble the combination to the lockbox. There will be a $20 charge for each set of keys lost. FOR ANY EMERGENCY OR ACCIDENT (TO PEOPLE OR PROPERTY) CONTACT: (864) 338-9567. WE RENT TO FAMILIES AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS ONLY-MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. We do not rent to house parties and/or groups including, but not limited to, fraternities, high school graduates, spring breakers, or other non-family groups to be determined at our discretion. DISTURBANCES: Tenants and all other occupants or guests will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee for any of the following: A) Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity stated on the Reservation Confirmation. B) Using the premises for any illegal activity including, but not limited to, the possession, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages by or to persons less than 21 years of age. C) Causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties. D) Violation of the Horry County or Ocean Lakes Family Campground Noise Ordinances or other acts which interferes with neighbors’ right to quiet enjoyment of their property. Notice: Ocean Lakes observes a quiet time in the park from 11pm to 7am.

About the owner: This property is located in a shady section of Ocean Lakes and very close to the store and Meet and Eat. Mr. Jackson, owner of Ocean Lakes, once called section Z, the 'jewel' of the campground! Ocean Lakes is truly a 'City within a City.' You never have to leave the campground for the duration of your stay. While the area offers many other options for various dining and shopping, and other activities, it really is the best of both worlds! Historic Charleston is just a day trip away and the laid back atmosphere of Pawleys Island and Litchfield are minutes from here. Despite growth over the years, this area still has captured the ability to remain a family beach.
Why the Owner Chose Section Z:
Secure family oriented atmosphere. You don't have to leave Ocean Lakes unless you want to. Almost a mile of private beach, pool (inside and outside and kiddie pool) store, mini-golf plus all kinds for other activities to keep you as busy as you want to be.

A quite morning sip of coffee on the back deck is a good way to start your day. Then a short walk to the lake to watch and feed the ducks. Our family enjoys riding bikes, play at the play ground, enjoy the ocean, mini golf, the arcade, pools, Family Scavenger Hunts, bingo and many more activities. Then there is always the option for going back to Z-34 located on a quiet street and shaded lot for some peace and quiet and grill up a great meal. We enjoy the life of a BEACH BUM while we are there. We know that you will to.
