Situated in one of St. Thomas's best residential neighborhoods and sequestered behind an electronic gate, High View is a sought-after and sophisticated vacation home. This popular villa is secluded within lush tropical landscaping, cloistered by shady trees and palms, and its very private pool and sun deck overlooks one of the island's most coveted views of Charlotte Amalie and the harbor.

High View's main level offers four bedrooms all on one convenient level with a pleasing floor plan. The Great Room is surrounded on two sides by glass sliders opening to the pool and sun deck, and shares space with the large kitchen and breakfast bar, a nook with a DSL hookup for your laptop and Wi-Fi for your laptop, and a dining room. Just outside the Great Room on the pool deck is a covered pavilion set with a dining table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a gas grill.

Wooden ceilings on the villa's main level add warmth to each stylishly-furnished room. The Great Room features an eclectic mix of seagrass furniture and upholstered pieces anchored by larger wooden armoires and tables; High View's subdued palette adds to the soothing aura of this gracious and so-comfortable home.

Located on one side of the Great Room is a powder room, the king master suite and a two-twin bedroom and bath, perfect for parents who wish to be near their children. On the other side is another king bedroom/bath suite which opens directly to the pool deck. A separate pavilion, accessed across the pool deck outside, offers a fourth bedroom, a very private king suite. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV with a DVD player.

Tucked into High View's lower level, accessed via a lighted outside stone staircase, is High View's just-completed Apartment Guest Suite. Fully air-conditioned, this charming and beautifully-finished Suite has a living area, its own kitchen, and a king bedroom with cable TV and an en-suite bath with a tiled shower. There's a breezy covered porch just outside which looks down on town and the harbor. This Suite is ideal for teenagers or for a couple who wants seclusion.
