  My fiancé and I got engaged on the beach at sunset on October 16th 2012; shortly thereafter we jumped right into wedding planning. The game plan was to rent a home near the ocean preferably in Mantoloking that could accommodate a reception of 135 guests. On October 29th super storm Sandy changed our lives forever, we lived about a mile away from where the ocean met the bay and the house that we had picked for our wedding was washed away. Due to the magnitude of the event we were sure that our plans would be put on hold while the shore was restored. November 6, 2012 I came across this property and quickly asked for details. The contact for the home (Linda) responded in less than an hour and six months later almost to the day I could not be happier. This 9 bedroom 8.5 bathrooms home could accommodate all twelve people in our bridal party, our parents and then us. Every detail of the home was modern and beautiful. Everyone in our bridal party arrived by Friday afternoon and we had our rehearsal BBQ at the house that night. The industrial sized kitchen was perfect to for the catering company and had its own entrance to not interfere with the flow of the day. The décor of the home is beachy chic and fit perfectly with our beach themed wedding. The wrap around porch with couches, chairs and tables was the perfect area for our passed Hors d'oeuvre cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour our guest moved down to the side yard where we had a 30 by 60 tent set with tables and chairs, the dance floor, DJ, Photo booth, and buffet style dining. The beautiful landscaping was also an added bonus, the gazebo was beautiful and had all of the amenities needed for the DJ. The home has three hotels in walking distance where our friends and families booked rooms Saturday night, on Sunday we were in walking distance of Uncle Willies and the Chicken or the Egg where we all met for one last goodbye to end our perfect wedding weekend. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about the unique and fun atmosphere of our wedding. I highly recommend this home for anyone considering this style wedding in the future, and Linda was the most amazing person to deal with from day one, accommodating, friendly, helpful, efficient, and she sent these kind words the day before our wedding…”The weather gods are working in our favor!!!   Held a Family Reunion in Beach Haven with this property being the focal point of all the activity. Everyone loved the house, the yard and the location. With the perfect weather we enjoyed, we ate all our meals on the wrap around porch and were able to accomodate everyone. The convenience of having hotels for other family members close by and being within walking distance of everything made it that much more enjoyable.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My wife and I held our wedding reception at this FANTASTIC house two weeks ago, and we can't imagine how it could have been more perfect. Not a single complaint from us or any of our 55 guests. In fact, our married guests told us they wished their wedding was just like ours, and our unmarried guests were inspired to follow suit! The house & property have a wonderful effect on everyone that spends time there. On the logistical side, our houseguests for the weekend were PERFECTLY comfortable. Having twenty people under 1 roof could not have felt easier. Everyone kept telling us how appreciative they were to have their own bathrooms (and NICE ones at that), how practical and amazing the kitchen was, and how comfortable the dining/living room & porch were. & we all cant say enough about how simply & tastefully everything is decorated. Finally, and worth noting if you're thinking of planning an event here. Dont think of it as just renting the property. Linda, the house manager, is just a phone call away 24/7 and ALWAYS answers or responds within minutes. & almost more importantly, the team that she can set you up with is 2nd to none in the area. Suggestions regarding catering, tent/party goods rental, alcohol/bartending, flowers and everything in between were spot on and MUCH appreciated. It made the planning process feel nothing like a "process" at all. It honestly felt like a group of friends discussing what would create the best time possible. And we nailed it..... Thank you to Linda and EVERYONE associated with the property that lent a helping hand. You'll be seeing us again. Often. Cheers.

  On Sept 17, 2011 my husband and I had the most remarkable wedding located at this house (formerly known as Pierrot by the Sea) in Beach Haven! I grew up spending my summers in Beach Haven and we absolutely love it down there, so it was a MUST to have our wedding there. After researching for weeks, we came across this beautiful Victorian Home and quickly booked the house for a long wedding weekend celebration. Throughout the year planning, the Owner of the house and groundskeepers would happily let us walk through the space so we could get ideas and just check it out. They were more than accommodating. The landscaping is incredible, the house always extremely clean, and the upkeep of the original Architecture and woodwork inside the house is something you cannot find any where else and a must see. When we finally arrived the Thursday before, the house was immaculate! Every room more perfect than the next and every bathroom more spectacular. The wedding reception was held throughout the house, which was perfect for a "home style" wedding. We used the inside for "flow" and displays, the porch for the bars and cocktail hour, and the tent in the side yard sat 160 people with a 11 piece band, and giant dance floor. My family and I could NOT have been happier. We had no complaints and the best wedding in history. Although we had the house for a wedding, we can't wait to book it again for family reunions and the like.
