La Belle Helene

This is a spectacular house situated in Beau Estate below the World Heritage site of the Pitons of St. Lucia. The property is situated in an expansive, beautifully landscaped garden of 2.2 acres, with rolling lawns running down to the coast and a rocky pebble beach. Jalousie Hotel and a white sand beach are a short walk or drive away. The property is situated near the town of Soufriere with its unique attractions, such as the Diamond Waterfall, the Mineral Baths and the drive in volcano. You enter the main 10,000 square foot house through French Colonial double doors into a marble floored hallway with a dramatic outlook to the sea and a grand double staircase soaring up to the lofty ceilings. The hallway leads into a spacious sitting room and a separate formal dining room with seating for 12 persons. Both rooms are surrounded on two sides by patios facing the sea and the towering Pitons. On the patio is an open bar and two outside dining areas which are cooled with ceiling fans. There is a large, well equipped state of the art kitchen and an adjacent laundry room. The house boasts eleven bedrooms all of which have ceiling fans and air conditioning.
