THIS VACATION RENTAL IS A STUDIO WITH FULL SEPARATE KITCHEN AND I FULL BATHROOM.
It is on the 2nd floor of a historic Queen Anne 8 unit apartment building.
This vacation rental has hardwood floor, high ceiling, many large windows, full bathroom with clawfoot tub / shower combo and full separate kitchen.
Walk Everywhere! The Downtown Victorian Queen Anne Studio is located approx. 10 blocks to the Beach and 3 blocks to Downtown, State Street and 2 blocks to Paseo Nuevo shopping center.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and 4-burner range and oven.
Enter the Studio through the front door and into the main room with high ceiling and Victorian charm! It is a comfortable, beautiful room with it's high ceiling, wood floor, Queen bed, double futon sofabed, table and chairs, TV with expanded cable viewing and DVD!
From the front door entry look to the right where you will enter into the fully stocked charming kitchen with high ceiling and window above the sink.
With an ideal Downtown Santa Barbara location, this unique studio is just 10 blocks to East Beach and the incredible Pier with shops and restaurants! It is just a short 3 block walk to State Street, downtown and the beautiful Paseo Nuevo shopping center.
PARKING
Cars must park on the street: Bath Street between Carrillo & Cannon Perdido Streets and Castillo St.(next street up parallel to Bath St.) between Carrillo & De La Guerra Streets.
Other streets are timed parking-90 minutes from 9-6. Be sure to check signs for timed parking and street cleaning.

My husband and I came to stay here, thinking we were renting a condo, when in fact we were staying in the bedroom of a house. We could hear the t.v. in the room connected to ours, people talking on the phone, and thus knew everything we did was most likely heard as well. No privacy. The microwave plug didn't even reach the outlet so we had to put it on the floor every time we wanted to make something; the first time we plugged the microwave in, it tripped the breaker and our power went out. Overall, not a very friendly, accommodating, or enjoyable place to stay. We left two days early and just went home.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: This property is not the Downtown Queen Anne Studio. It is a completely different property. These guests did come and stay at the Enchanting Suite which is described in the website as a suite attached to a large Estate. I never said it was a condo. A Suite is a bedroom and bathroom. The Suite is very private with it's own separate entrance. Yes, sometimes one might hear a very muted sound from the main house as someone might hear sounds in a hotel or motel room. Yes, not known to me, the cleaning crew had moved the microwave. I have moved it back to where it should be and it plugs into the outlet easily. Even though I have forced air vented heating throughout the Estate, I supply an electric heater in the Suite for guests who would like extra heat, which did trip the breaker. The guests rang my doorbell at 11 pm. I had to get out of bed and switch the breaker back on. I have never had this happen before and it was a new heater. I have attached the heater to a different outlet and fixed the problem. I apologized to the guest for the inconvenience and have asked them what I can do to make this up to them. I have not heard back from them.

About the owner: The one in the red dress is me! I am a chiropractor and successfully managed my chiropractic business, Bolt Chiropractic, for 16 years. Prior to and during this time frame I bought, refurbished and rented several properties in Santa Barbara and Montecito. I have managed these properties for 20 years. I have managed my own vacation rentals since 2007.

I bought the beautiful Queen Anne 8 unit apartment building in 2007. It was a fixer at the time but I had insight and could imagine what it could look like someday! I completely renovated it to create it as the masterpiece it is today! The Studio is in the heart of Santa Barbara and just minutes walk to the ocean, State St, downtown. It is beautiful, peaceful, safe, quiet and desirable!
