We had a wonderful two week family vacation in Maui and the condo met and exceeded our needs and expectations!! We are a family of 3, with a three year old son who still takes afternoon naps. Having 2 bedrooms and A/C made the condo a very comfortable 'home away from home', with a well stocked kitchen, spacious rooms, tasteful decor and spectacular view. We stayed at Kamaole Sands before in a 1 bedroom, and found having 2 bedrooms so much easier. We used the BBQs often and loved being able to walk 3 minutes to Kam III for mornings at the beach! Also found it very easy to skip over to Wailea beach a couple of times. For days when we just wanted simple rest - or the trade winds were blowing early afternoon - the condo was a perfect place to curl up with a book. Rich and Lois were so accommodating of our needs and kept in communication leading up to our stay and checked in on our first day to ensure all was okay. We've even had the pleasure of communication since our stay with updates on touch ups at the condo. We will definitely make this our first choice for our next trip to Maui!

The owners had provided everything we needed for a perfect family vacation and anniversary holiday. The condo is beautifully decorated & furnished, kitchen stocked with every need and spices & condiments were on hand also. Rich attended quickly to any needs required and we were able to enjoy the beauty of the island without a worry. All boogie boards, beach chairs & towels were much appreciated. The location of the condo was perfect, as an end unit it is also very quiet. The breezes and air circulation in the condo did not require the air conditioning to be on ( with the exception of the 1st day of acclimatization) thank you so much for sharing your wonderful condo - we would love to return!

Our family thoroughly appreciated our stay in your condo. It was neat and clean, had a well stocked kitchen and an outdoor closet full of boogie boards, beach chairs and many other accessories. The high ceilings made the unit seem very open and the air circulation was great. We've enjoyed staying at the Kamaole Sands on many prior occasions - we think it's the best spot for a family vacation on Maui. Our family made use of the barbecue areas almost every night and visited the many nearby beaches to go snorkelling, swimming and building sand castles. We enjoyed terrific weather, at a time when the weather on other parts of the island wasn't nearly as pleasant. We can hardly wait 'til we can get back.

This is a beautiful condominium and grounds. We are a family of four and the entire family loved it! Rich is an excellent host to work with and made sure everything went as planned for us. We looked around at other condominiums and this is definitely one of the nicest in Kihei. Having beach accessories at the condominium was great as well as just being able to walk across the street to the beach! The grounds are immaculate and you are within walking distance of ice cream, restaurants, and convenience stores. Had a wonderful time and would go back to this unit in an instant!

This really is a home away from home, from the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, to the furnishings and decor that are just as good quality as home. There is a great view off the lanai of the manicured gardens and the pool, and then there is the ocean off the front lanai. We really enjoyed our stay here with our two teen-age girls. Everything is accessible; the pool and hot tub(s), snorkeling off Kam III beach across the street, restaurants within walking distance, groceries down the street, activity bookings at the office. Kudos to the staff for the Wednesday Mai Tai party. Rich really made us comfortable by calling us before we left and the day after we arrived, and also staying in contact by e-mail right from the time we booked, including e-mailing us recommendations of things to do - a real personal touch, thanks Stopplers. We will be back again!

My husband and I got married in Maui 10 years ago, and decided to come back for our anniversary, and bring our two children. The Kamaole Sands is a lovely complex, very lush and well maintained. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in 7 - 410. This unit was very clean, and had all the amenities that we needed and more! The owners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed, and were so pleasant to deal with ( calling us on our second day there to make sure all was O.K.) The Lanai was stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.......... it was great! The kitchen was well stocked...... and has been nicely updated, along with the bathrooms. We loved the air - conditioning...... there are three separate controllers for each room. It kept us nice and cool after a day at the beach! Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would definitely recommend this property and unit to anyone.....we would love to come back. Mahalo to the Stopplers for sharing your home with us, and for making our time in Maui so memorable!

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday in the Stoppler's condo in December 2010. Our first time on Maui, we were pleased to discover that the location is ideal. There's a great beach right across the street, and a number of shops and restaurants within strolling distance. Kamaole Sands is a beautiful complex, obviously well maintained. The apartment is lovely and comes with everything, even beach chairs and bocce balls. The loft and upper skylights make it bright and airy, and although the weather was warm, we found it unnecessary to use the air conditioning. A mai tai on the lanai was the best way to cool off! Of particular note, the owners phoned us the day after we arrived to make sure all was OK, and were very helpful with shopping and sightseeing advice. Thank you, Stopplers, for helping to make our first trip to Hawaii such a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable condo. The VRBO description and pictures gave us a good feeling going into our stay but when we arrived everything was even better then expected. Rich was so kind to call the morning after our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. What a personal touch! The condo is very spacious and open and was perfect for our party of 4. However, 6 people could easily fit and still not feel cramped. The updated kitchen was a nice touch as well as the large comfortable couch in the living room. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This is our second year in this very comfortable and spotless condo and we have already signed up to come again next year! We have been coming to Maui to escape the winter for a number of years and have now found a perfect home in Kamaole Sands 7-410. The kitchen is well-stocked for a cook with nice cookware, dishes and glassware, and both it and the baths have been very nicely updated. The brand new air conditioning system keeps even the back bedroom nice and cool, a fact greatly appreciated by our son and daughter-in-law in their one week stay with us. The fact that it is an end unit brings in extra light. The owners are wonderful to deal with and are genuinely interested in your comfort, making sure you have everything you need. You can have breakfast (or Mai Tais!) on the lanai with a beautiful, manicured garden vista and the beach across the street; you couldn't ask for a better or more comfortable location. An outstanding and well-located unit in this convivial complex.

Mahalo to the Stoppler family for the use of their wonderful condo!! The condo was well stocked (thanks again for the play pen and booster chair, it was so nice not to have to pack those) and the location was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised how sound proof the building was and really appreciated the phone calls from Rich double checking that everything was okay, he really went over and above to make sure we were comfortable. Our family of seven had an amazing holiday. We will definitely be back and would recommend this condo to anyone. Our since thanks. Steve & Melanie Smith, Calgary

My husband and I, along with our friends had a great vacation in October 2009. The condo was very nicely furnished and well maintained. It was modern, bright and air conditioned. The owners provided everything one could ask for to take to the beach including mats, beach chairs, boogie boards and kids sand toys. The views were awesome, overlooking the pool and lovely gardens. . The owner even went to the extra touch of calling on our first day to ensure we arrived safely and if we needed anything additional for our stay. Thanks Rich for a wonderful Hawaii vacation experience. Jeff and Lisa Borland

We had a perfect Maui vacation in April 2008. The condo accomodated our family of six perfectly. The renos in the kitchen and bathrooms were nice. We felt very comfortable. We love Kamaole Sands. The grounds and pool were beautiful. It was only a short walk to restaurants and across the street from a great beach. We can't wait to go back.

What a delight it was to stay at your Kihei condo! The unit was beautifully decorated. The location was fantastic! We took advantage of some of your many suggestions. We walked the 3+ mile beach hike; we snorkeled(and swam with sea turtles) at Ulua Beach; we ate delicious pizza at Mateo's; and the list goes on. We filled each day with exciting adventures, but always took time to unwind and enjoy the condo pool. Thank you again for your lovely unit. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The beds are very comfy and the whole atmosphere was great. We'll definitly tell our friends. We're looking forward to seeing the photos of your new cabinets and counter tops. There's nothing like a Maui sunset!!!!
