Within The Tavern are 4 rental homes, including White Gates, a gem of a home featuring offering a full kitchen, huge living room with fireplace, dining room, four bedroom/baths including a master suite.
Amenities include tennis, paddle tennis, fitness ctr, WiFi, swim pond (seasonal). Grafton Ponds Outdoor Ctr. has 2,000+ acres of mountain biking & hiking in the summer, and 30K of Nordic skiing, 15k snowshoeing & a tubing run in the winter. The Tavern’s award-winning restaurant offers locally-inspired American cuisine. Or cook your own feast in the full kitchen!
White Gates is in the heart of Grafton, a beautiful town of 600 residents.
Located in historic Grafton Village, named one of the 10 most beautiful places in the US by USA Today. Many antiquing options are available in Grafton and the surrounding areas. The Grafton experience also includes a visit to the award winning Grafton Village Cheese Company, the blacksmith shop, three art galleries, unique gift shops and two museums. Picnic areas and walking trails are scattered throughout the Village. Day trips to neighboring VT towns like Brattleboro, Chester, Manchester and Weston include a variety of activities, art galleries, theatre and restaurants. Bromley Mtn (30 mins.), Okemo Mtn (35 mins.) and Stratton Mtn (30 mins.) offer skiing/snowboarding in the winter and golf and other activities in the summer.
Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center offers year-round activities, which are complimentary for Inn guests (and in our rental homes!). In the summer enjoy mountain biking & hiking. In the winter, nordic skiing, snow tubing, snowshoeing and wonderful special events.
