This was our first experience with a VRBO rental and it was outstanding. The home was easy to find. It was exactly like the pictures. It was our home away from home. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This home had an excellent layout for 6 adults and 2 kids. Because our kids were 1 and 3 they slept in the bedroom with us in a Pack N Play and the other on the floor. There was a pullout couch in the living room but nobody needed to sleep on it. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot-tub after a long day of hiking in Glacier. The kitchen layout was very nice and there was enough seating for all of us to eat meals together although two had to sit at the breakfast bar. As another review said the rooms really were more like suites as each had a bathroom either in the room or directly adjacent to it. The extra large garage was big enough to park 2 suburbans and fit 8 bicycles. The TV situation in the living room was a little odd because it was so high up and probably a little bit smaller in size than what I would have chosen for the viewing distance, but it worked out okay. This house was pricey relative to another VRBO house we stayed in last summer, but this one had a better layout. Even still, relative to what hotels or a 3 bedroom condo through Meadow Lake would have cost we got a great deal.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The layout of the house is very nice since it has two master bedroom and the third bedroom has a bathroom right next to the bedroom door. The two bedrooms can be closed off from the living room by closing the door, which is nice because it's very quiet. The property was clean and well maintained. The patio and view are spectacular. The property is on a golf course, so the view is of the course and the mountains. It's so quiet and enjoyable to sit on the patio and enjoy the area. I would highly recommend this property. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I would highly recommend this lovely home. We certainly enjoyed our vacation in this very clean, well kept home. The kitchen is well stocked with utinsels and dishes. The barbeque was fantastic. The listing description listed three bedrooms, its actually three suites. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We loved relaxing on the patio and visiting. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly with questions we had. There is plenty to do, with the Glacier Park, Big Fork, Kalispell, Whitefish, etc very close by. We definately plan on using this home again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We are the Mattson's. We reside in North-Central Montana and are an active farm family. Our busy season on the farm is the summer months, so we typically enjoy our home during the winter, which leaves this home open and available a majority of the summer for you to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Columbia Falls:
Thank you for looking at our family's home with an interest to rent our vacation property. We, as a family, purchased this home in 2005 with the intention of it being a retirement/family vacation home. We have always enjoyed life on 'the other side of the mountains' so when an opportunity to purchase a home caught our attention, we jumped on the opportunity. However, life and an ever-growing family has not allowed us to utilize this property as much as we had originally intended. We are now renting this property in hopes that others will take advantage of the amenities and enjoyment this location has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Enjoy Meadowlake and its cozy, calm, quiet community environment. It offers everyting the family enjoys; indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, fitness center, tennis courts, playground, spa, and golfing. There are a multitude of amenities and great restaurants only a short drive away. Best of all, Whitefish Ski Resort is only a 30 minute drive.
