Hi Lisa and Ken, We totally loved your adorable, charming, and elegant little rental built with Ken's gorgeous craftsmanship! The detail in the woodwork, cabinetry, and custom furniture was photo-worthy - even the floors were gorgeous! We had a dreamy family vacation. Our daughter found the living room to be a comfortable bedroom at night made private by the pocket doors and we all enjoyed the airy splendor of that space during the awake times. My husband & I found the master bedroom to be very comfortable (spiffy bathroom and hot tub area too!). The design of the kitchen made it an easy place for several cooks to work (beautiful granite made it a pleasant space as well). It was very nice, after long (fun) days with our large extended reunion group staying down the street to be able to escape to some privacy at your little retreat! What a pleasure! Loved it! Thanks for the amazing vacation. If our family chooses Tahoe for a reunion again, we will certainly return! Sincerely, Catherine T.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: We love Lake Tahoe! My husband and I both moved to Tahoe 18 years ago. We met skiing at Squaw Valley and decided to stay and make a life that we love together. We enjoy being outdoors and Tahoe provides us with everything we need. My husband has a cabinet shop and all the custom work and detail is thanks to him. I have been doing massage and injury work for 23 years and own a small day spa in downtown Tahoe City. When you stay at our place you will automatically get a discount for any spa services just mention it when booking.
Why the Owner Chose Alpine Meadows:
We are very luck to have found the perfect home in Alpine Meadows. It is located 5 minutes from Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe, 1 minute up to the ski area at Alpine Meadows and 5 minutes to Squaw Valley our choice for skiing. You can call ahead and the Van for Alpine Meadows will come pick you up and drop you off at your door.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
You can walk out the back door to skin up scotts Peak for some untracked fun. It takes less than 1 hour. You can also walk down the street to take a hike up the 5 lakes trail in the summer or to ski the back side of Red Dog ridge in the winter. We love our location.
