This home was perfect for us, a couple miles from town on a hard surfaced road but in the woods for the quiet privacy. The house was so unique and beautiful, all the stone walls and wooden beams were definitely enjoyed by all. The space was perfect; there were many spots to sit and relax and also great family areas. We loved being in Montana and this house only added to the experience. We will be talking about this vacation for a long time and also how much we loved this home. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Thank You Amy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Amy, who is the house owner is a wonderful woman who was very helpful and accommodating. The house was well maintained, full equipped and very unique with its stone structure. It is located nearly a grocery store and also close to the national park. When I say I will return back should say enough about how happy I was. Thank you Amy for your kindness and hope to see you soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: Hi, my name is Amy Rex. I have owned this house for 14 years. I raised my family here but now my three daughters are grown up and moved out. The uniqueness of this house is what gives it the Montana charm and what everyone loves when they stay here. It has a Montana ruggedness because of the rock and logs but it also carries all the luxuries of home plus many many more amenities like volleyball, the nice big firepit, massage chair, water toys for the beach, couple bicycles, ......
Why the Owner Chose Martin City:
I just love Glacier National Park. Go out the driveway of the house and turn right, 3 miles you are at the hungry horse reservoir. 55 miles long and serene with Great Nothern piercing through the clouds. The property is one acre all fenced in plus a gate to keep the animals out. Lots of outdoor seating to watch all the activiities going on around you, a greenhouse with fresh herbs, lettuce and a few veggies. Home away from home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house itself is truly unique. Handbuilt out of alot of rock and logs. It has a fairy book feeling. Fully furnished with DVDs, Games, Puzzles, and Books. If you have kids, the yard is completely fenced in, It is so quiet and tranquil on the front porch. You can hear the creek. You won't want to leave!
