Beautifully updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath GROUND FLOOR condo that is only steps away to the clubhouse and only a few short blocks to downtown Winter Park. Walking distance to town, and short free ski shuttle ride to resort. This main-floor unit makes loading and unloading your vehicle and gear super-easy with no trudging up and down several flights of stairs. In addition, it is near the entrance to the complex so there are no long, uphill walks to get back and forth to your unit if you happen to be traveling without a car.
The Beaver Village clubhouse is just steps away and has complimentary High-Speed Wireless Internet access (wi-fi also available in the condo), a relaxing lobby, an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, three hot-tubs, locker rooms with towels, and laundry facilities for your use. There is also a sundeck located outside the clubhouse for sunning in the summer! All these amenities are FREE and included in your rental.
This condo is decorated in a cozy mountain lodge theme with antique wood skis & snowshoes as well as hand-made pine furniture from Mexico. The sofa-sleeper is new as well as the leather reclining lounge chair – perfect for relaxing or reading a book on a snowy afternoon. Enjoy the natural wood-burning fireplace with firewood available conveniently through local stores. Take in the fantastic private wooded view of Aspen and Pine trees out of the back patio door as you relax on the comfortable furniture. This condo is also one of the few in the complex that has brand new, double-pane, super insulated windows to keep out the cold drafts that are common in many of the other units.
For relaxing after a hard day of downhill or cross-country skiing this mountain getaway has a high quality YAMAHA entertainment center with full DOLBY DIGITAL SURROUND SOUND and six speakers including a sub-woofer and of course TV/VCR/DVD/Cable TV and wi-fi . The master bedroom also has its own cable TV and DVD player. Choose from a nice variety of movies on DVD for your use along with a great selection of music CD’s to relax after a long day outdoors. The Clubhouse also has a wide array of DVD’s to rent for a very minimal $2.00 fee. We also have a number of board games, cards and dice for added entertainment.
The open deck just outside has a Weber gas grill for your use as well as chairs to enjoy the fresh mountain air with a glass of wine or your favorite beverage. Summertime brings dozens of Hummingbirds to the stocked feeder just outside the window. In addition, numerous Mountain Bluebirds and Chickadees, Gray Jays, Steller’s Jays, Blue Jays, Nuthatches, Magpies, Ravens and other native birds are attracted to the feeder attached to an Aspen tree in the nearby woods. Also frequently seen in the area are squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, coyote, red foxes, elk, deer and the occasional moose!
Each bedroom has super comfortable Serta Perfect Sleeper Queen beds with new down comforters and high-quality, Egyptian cotton duvet covers and sheets to ensure a great night’s sleep. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom for privacy and convenience including built-in hair dryers, vanity mirrors with storage, and adjustable massage shower heads. In addition to the two Queen beds, we also have a newer sofa with a pull-out Queen sized sleeper. We also have a Pack N'Play and booster seat for kids. The fully-stocked kitchen has upgraded and or new appliances with everything you will need to prepare a great home-cooked meal. Or if you prefer, it is only a short walk to downtown Winter Park (about three blocks) where there is a variety of great restaurants to please any palate.
For your convenience getting around town, this unit is on the FREE Winter Park Shuttle Bus route and also just steps away to the Beaver Village Bus stop. There is a bus stop just outside the condo so you won’t have to worry about having to walk a long way in your boots while carrying your skis or snowboard. In addition, this condo has full access to fantastic hiking/mountain biking/snowshoeing trails that link directly to the Winter Park ski resort or Fraser Valley area.

Dated furnishings but well kept. Everything was in working order.1st floor location is great for not having to haul ski gear up and down steps. Clean and comfortable. Nice location within the Beaver Village complex. Owners were very good to deal with. Walking distance to the town of Winter Park. My husband and I stayed in this condo 1/11/12-1/15/12. The condo was comfortable and in a perfect location. There was everything we needed to cook a good meal and plenty of towels and blankets were provided. This is a first floor condo which made taking our luggage in incredibly easy. This was my first time to Winter Park without a car but this condo is in a great location for shuttle pick up, the bus literally stops right outside the door.We were able to easily walk to the shopping center and to restaurants in Winter Park. This condo was great and I would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed the this 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. It is close to the bus stop and close to the club house. Very clean and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this mountain getaway! Sharon and Eric made the entire trip stress free from booking, arrival, and throughout the vacation. Winter Park is an excellent Colorado ski destination and this condo was very convenient to enjoy the mountain and town. The free shuttle picks up just steps from the condo, so we used it to access the slopes each morning. This condo was also the ideal place to relax after a full day on the slopes. I particularly enjoyed snowshoeing on the trails which are easily accessed from the back porch. Can't wait to return for more skiing as well as summer hiking in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great place to stay--it's where we go whenever its available! Very quiet and peaceful with easy access to everything. The shuttle runs regularly to the slopes--a 5-10 minute ride, and shops/restaurants are within easy walking distance. The owners are very gracious and friendly. This vacation property has it all. Wonderful location in beautiful Winter Park with immediate access to town and mountain. Large floor plan provided ample room for everyone to relax and a big fireplace to get comfortable next to. We especially liked the close proximity to snow shoeing and skiing. Great location and well equiped with everything you need for your stay. You cann't do better in the Beaver Village complex as this unit is on ground floor and its the closest unit to the bus line. Most of the other units are a bit of a walk. There are some real advantages to a ground floor condo while on vacation. This complex has only stairs for the upper floors and lugging skis or bikes up and down stairs is a real pain. Also, the owners have kept this unit extremely well maintained, very comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. I'll be staying here again for my 2011 ski vacation. You should too.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We love this place! Very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a great mountain vacation. With trails for mountain biking, snowshoeing, hiking or back country skiing literally out the back door, this place works great for us. Plus the location allows for a short walk to town and a short drive to the ski hill. If you are looking for a place to plop down and relax with friends in an intimate and cozy Condo - look no more. I loved that you could entertain guest and cook at the same time - enjoying conversation and nice glass of wine. Ample parking. A minutes walk to town for nightlife or a beer and burger. But really quiet. And skiing is just a 5 minute drive or by bus and absolutely no traffic. For my wife and our friends this place rocks!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Sharon and Eric love the Colorado Mountains and coming up to Winter Park with our two little girls! We enjoy the beautiful valley in the winter to downhill ski, cross-country ski and snowshoe. In the spring, summer and fall we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, road riding and just relaxing. Sharon is originally from the Orlando, Florida area and is a Veterinarian at a hospital here in town. Eric is originally from the Chicago, Illinois area and has been in Denver for many years. He currently works in the financial services industry. We enjoy the mountains so much that we were married at Columbine Point at the Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA over in Tabernash in the summer of 2008. We love the relaxed vibe of Winter Park and hope you have a wonderful stay at Beaver Village!
Why the Owner Chose Beaver Village:
We really appreciate the convenient location of the condo to the clubhouse as well as downtown Winter Park. In addition, having a first floor unit makes it so much easier for loading and unloading your bikes, skis, luggage, groceries, etc. We can go out our back door and link up to Winter Park's extensive trail system for hiking or mountain biking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
A great feature of this unit is the fantastic, private wooded view out of the back of the condo. The patio is great to enjoy reading, relaxing or grilling a steak for dinner. Another thing we love is watching a good movie on the home theatre system in Dolby Digital Surround sound while curled up on the couch.
