My wife and I spent 6 nights here on our honeymoon. We have never rented from VRBO and probably would have ended up at an expensive hotel. Good thing we looked around and found this condo. The price to stay here is a steal. Everything about the condo is amazing. The pictures and listing description are 100% accurate. The condo is extremely well kept. All the amenities are covered. Fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave. Like new bathroom. Nicely decorated. Not that you should be watching TV, but there are 2 in excellent working order. We ate a couple of meals in the condo just like we would at home. We saved money doing so, as the restaurants any where on the island can be a bit pricey. The condo is situated on the quiet corner of Sapphire Beach and Marina and gets plenty of cool trade wind breeze. The view is one of the best on the island. You have an amazing view of St. John and some of the BVIs. We rented a car and drove to Bongolo Bay, Magens Bay, and Coki Beach. Sapphire Beach was the best. Private, quiet, amazing snorkeling. Every time we went to another beach, we wished we would have stayed at the condo. The snorkeling is just steps from the door. We saw squid, a huge sting ray, and plenty of species of fish. The condo is mere yards from the marina where you can charter a boat to St. John or the BVI. As a side note, we highly recommend the New Horizons II that goes to the BVI each day right from the Sapphire Marina. The condo is also extremely close to Red Hook, not even 2 minutes down the road. Open taxi is 1 dollar each way. Very nice restaurants (The Cellar and Coco Blue). The owner was extremely responsive. She was very quick to respond to our request to rent, even while stuck in the middle of a snow storm. The week prior to arriving we were so rushed that we didn't get the information about how to get into the property. We called the owner who picked up immediately and got us into the property in seconds. Absolutely no problems. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on the island and we would love to stay here again!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Heavenly property. Sleeping and arising to the sound of the ocean was just the perfect escape from winter and work. Dealing with the owner was a joy, and advice requested was quick and oh so helpful. The condo was in excellent condition, location so convenient to Red Hook, the marina, and the ferry. Felt spoiled the whole time. Can't wait to go back - best place we've stayed in 4 trips to the island.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I spent 7 days in this beautiful waterfront condo on Sapphire Beach, St. Thomas. USVI. Feb/March 2013. The condo is fantastic and includes everything you need, and more. The condo is like new, new everything. If you forgot it, it is probably already there. There are 3 levels of outdoor seating to suit anyone’s sun needs...full sun to full shade. It has comfortable beach lounge chairs and a sun umbrella for when you have had too much sun. It faces east so you get the wonderful morning sun and is shaded for the afternoon. We slept with just the screen doors closed and you could hear the relaxing sound of the waves, it was amazing. There is excellent snorkeling right out your front door. We saw a hundred different species of fish including HUGE Tarpon, the endangered Green Sea Turtle and the Spotted Eagle Ray. We swam with large schools of Blue Tang, Yellow Snapper and Sergeant Majors. It was awesome! We spent a day at Coki Beach and over on Trunk Bay (St John) and we both concluded that Sapphire Beach was as good or better than these world class beaches. Trunk Bay is on the top 10 worldwide beach list. Sapphire Beach Rocks! It is in a very safe and convenient location. There was security staff walking around day and night. It is a $1 safari ride into Red Hook. Taxi's are cheap and are usually sitting down by the reception area. You don't need to rent a car, we did not. We spent less in taxi rides than what a car would have cost us. Groceries were not too expensive; the meat was priced similar to what we get here in Hayward. No Sales Tax. Coke was $5.50/12. Rum is REALLY CHEAP. Cheers! The owner was very responsive and took care of our every need. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We will be back for sure.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My BF and I have been going to sapphire beach for about 8 years, using VRBO every time. We had to switch from March to January this year, and we found Lee's lovely place! We have never stayed in E building, nor on a ground level unit before. We were there for 9 nights. E is much quieter than the others (great for us!). We met a lot of condo owners this year since early January is when the condo owners meeting is. Very nice people! Lee's place is very neat and tidy; perfect for 2 adults and maybe 1 person on the couch. Nice kitchen ware, great knives (BF is a chef and it is very important!). The unit definitely made us feel like it was home and the owner has great taste in decor and outfitting the place. Awesome Comfy Bed! Clean! We had a problem with the big tv having the picture shutting off with voice still on, but we didn't watch the tv much so it wasn't a problem really for us (just FYI). Lee did send us instructions on how to try to fix it (did not work/might need to be replaced), but we didn't pursue it further since there was another one in the bedroom that worked just fine. We didn't get a fresh towel change out mid week (9 night stay), but that might not have been included (again just FYI) but we typically get by for the week without one. We love sapphire beach and would stay here again for sure. Lee's place is comfy and homey, and we thank her for offering it to folks for rent. See you next year, Sapphire!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

If it wasn't for a wedding we had to attend, I have to say that the island of St.Thomas would, probably, not be our first choice to spend a vacation on. At least, that's what we thought until we arrived at Sapphire Beach and saw unit E105. What a delight it was, clean, comfortable, light and perfectly maintained. Right away it felt like home. We usually don't cook on vacations and prefer to go out, but it was different this time. The porch, the view and the proximity to the water changed it all. What a delight it was to have breakfast on the porch by the water and then look at St.John, all lit up at night, during dinner. Of course, we went out for dinners, but the evenings we didn't, we didn't regret it. We snorkeled a lot, went to St.John(what a beautiful island), went to different beaches, but every time couldn't wait to come back to the condo to enjoy our own secluded beach in front of building E. It was a great vacation, the one we didn't expect, and the one that changed our view of St. Thomas. Thanks to the owner for paying attention to details and making us feel like home!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I have been home for exactly 3 days and can't seem to stop thinking about planning our next trip! My wife and I spent two weeks in E105 for our 10 year anniversary and loved every second of it!!! Lee was a breeze to work with from the start and answered all of our questions up front and sured up a few others that we hadn't thought of before we left. The condo is immaculate and has all of the creature comforts of home as well as a few thoughtful details that we would never have expected like a sleep mask and soft sided coolers to take to the beach/pool. Everything was exactly as described and even better when you add the view. Seeing the ocean as your first sight every morning is an amazing experience that will drive the decision making process of all future We like to have the ability to prepare our own meals on vacation so the kitchen was a must for us. Everything is top notch including a great knives, cutting boards, toaster oven, stainless and non-stick pots and pans, and the most important part, the blender and bottle openers! We even used the electric grill to prepare the delicious fish we caught on our offshore trip on the Double Header (ask for Chris). The proximity of the marina made it a snap to book fishing and sightseeing trips. We also recommend the Break Away for a BVI tour. Jost is amazing! The condo is a short Safari or cab ride away from Red Hook. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from as well as grocery stores, etc. We fell in love with Island Time. The pizza is the best on the island and the staff is very friendly and welcoming (especially Chelsea and Loretta). Duffy's is also fun as well as Amigos. Taco Hell is a must if you need a late night snack before heading back to the unit from Red Hook. I can't stress enough exactly how perfect this is as a relaxing, fun, and romantic vacation spot. My wife and I fell in love with it and each other all over again. We are planning another trip soon. Thanks, Lee!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

A little late getting to this but as I think about coming back this year all the wonderfull memories come flowing back. Sapphire Beach left an indelible print in my mind.Thank you for opening up your slice of heaven to us. From morning to night we were bathed in the beauty of our surroundings. My favorite part of the day was morning coffee on the patio , so peaceful which is something everyone needs these day. The unit itself is comfortable and clean we did not want for anything expect maybe a few more days there. You can spend days just lounging on the beach or at the pool. The snorkling was awesome there is no need to leave Sapphire Beach the abundant marine life will keep anyone entertained for hours, we even did a few night snorkles which showed us a host of different marine life and stunning coral, easy travel to St. John and other VI's My husband and I are looking forward to our next visit.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our family stayed 10 nights in July 2011, and we found this condo to be wonderful. It was large enough for the 4 of us, and the kitchen was a wonderful asset. Being vegetarians, we find it difficult to eat out, so this enabled us to prepare our own food. We especially enjoyed the patio. I loved watching the sun rising over the mountains and the water. We found it to be a very good deal financially, too. The resort has good security, but the beach is a public beach, and cruise people are bussed over to it to spend the day. The beach was nice; the water was amazing, but there are a lot of sea urchins in the area, so make sure you pack swimming/snorkeling boots. We saw sting rays jumping out of the water, numerous fish, and a sea turtle. There are a lot of activities on the island, and you will have lots of things to do. Or you can just spend the days enjoying the beach and the water and the landscape. Note- the wireless internet is not free, but it is reasonable. The property was clean and was accurately reflected in the listing. The owner is a jewel! Love her!! I would recommend this listing to anyone.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful condo. Located right on Sapphire Beach which i'd argue is the nicest beach on the island. In addition, the condo was recently renovated and has wonderful amenities. It's central location was perfect for spending relaxing days on the beach and evenings in nearby Red Hook. This condo truly offers it all. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their own piece of heavenRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The description was off. It was even better than described! The photos were absolutely accurate but again, didn't parlay the sense of style and well-beiing of th unit. The unit was spotlessly clean as it was renovated completely in the last 2 months. The owner was always available for questions. I hate to recommend it, as I want it to be available whenever I need some peace and quiet in a tropical setting. Great restaurants, lovely pool, lots to do...a trip to St. John is easy as you can book the boat at the marina next door. Lots of shopping in town, too.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Why the Owner Chose Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina:
My brother and his family have been coming to Sapphire Beach for many years and convinced us to join him this year. I could barely contain myself when I saw the view and put my feet in the water(as angel fish swam around me). My 6 year old went snorkeling and saw sea turtles and sting rays in their natural habitat. My 12 year old met some new friends; they played volleyball and swam together joining in an immediate friendship. I knew I found paradise and a place to call my own.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Local attractions including an aquarium with hands-on exhibits. Safe environment for families with children. Many weddings have been accommodated on the "point" overlooking the coral reef.
