We stayed at this lovely home for several months, enjoying the quietness of Lake Weir in the winter. The home was just as advertised and we found it very comfortable with many amenities. We enjoyed the proximity to The Villages with its many entertainment and dining venues. We also enjoyed the nearby Orange Blossum Opry's musical presentations. We appreciated meeting and working with the owner of this property. There were no issues during our stay and we are looking forward to returning again in 2014.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family of 5 stayed here for two weeks in early August. It was absolutely perfect. The home is very well kept and extremely comfortable. It has everything you could possibly need. My wife and I spent much of our time on the big screened-in porch on the back of the house, facing the lake. The view is spectacular, especially in the evenings, watching the sunsets on the water. We kept our boat and jet ski on the private beach, so we could come and go, as we liked. Our teenagers loved the place too. The kids' lounge is a perfect place for the kids to watch a movie or play games when they were not out on the water. Our 4 year old loved it, as well. The owners are extremely helpful, if you need them for anything. We hope to stay again sometime.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Your home on Lake Weir offers so much - a sandy beach, fishing and beautiful sunsets in a relaxing setting. We enjoyed the flavor of several local restaurants, Gator Joe's on the lake and Alfie's. Shopping and lots of entertainment are both available a few miles away in The Villages. The screened in porch is perfect for enjoying your favorite novel. We had a great rental experience and would rate the property 4 1/2 stars.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We four Canadian senior golfers were already familiar with Lake Weir and its charm from former visits to the area. We were delighted to discover your beautiful lake home - just the right place to wind down after a round of golf! The sunsets are magnificent - perfect for relaxing on the beach with a cool drink and some friendly conversation. And, we enjoyed catching (and releasing) several decent largemouth bass - right off the dock! Thanks for your hospitality, and for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to returning next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I have always dreamed of a place like this, a place called 'Home' when your on vacation. This home on Lake Weir is filled with love and care. From the beautiful white sandy beach, to the fantastic patio, screened in patio, firepit, and the warmth of every room indoors, this is the perfect setting for a family get together! Everything you need is right here. I can't wait to go again! And after the 'company' left for their homes, our Florida beach home was peaceful and comforting! I would recommend to everyone!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
