Casa Pacifica Saladita is wonderful ocean front home located on the North end of La Saladita beach just 40 min North of Ziuatanejo in the state of Groerro on the Pacific side.
Our home was just completed in August of 2010. The home has 5 ocean view rooms with 5 full baths and guest closets. Two of the rooms are masters with king size beds, while the other two are equipped with queens and two twin bunk beds in each room. The downstairs bedroom has a king. The fourth upstairs rooms have private white water viewing decks as the downstairs has white water view!
French doors that lead out to the swimming pool and beach. Our beautiful pool is a large infinity edge pool that has 100% unobstructed view of the surf and beach. If you want to get out of the sun our large palm palapa will keep you cool while laying in our recliners over looking the pool and surf.
The house also offers a media room which includes a 42 inch flat screen tv, with DVD and a Wii video game system. We do have a ipod hookup so bring your Ipod and enjoy our indoor/outdoor speakers.
We have a full kitchen, a full dining room with a large dinner table, a lounge area with a large couch as well. We have Air conditioners in every room of the house. Note all these areas have white water view with the exception of the media room.
The house also has a third story roof top deck for a panoramic view of the rain forest and the ocean. We have a full time caretaker named Guillermo who speaks perfect English. For just $20 a day for groups of 6 or less you can have Martina “Guillermos” wife prepare three meals a day and do your maid services. Food is not included. They can arrange to buy the food for you upon request and a service fee. For groups of 7 or more we will just add a second person. If you are a surfer the waves get really fun out front of the house and are virtually crowd less.
There are other great spots around like “Saladita Point” a very long left that is great for long boarding or beginners that is located 5 min south of the house by car or the “Ranch” which is about a 30 min drive north which has a nice long left to it that is fun for short boarding and long boarding. The water temp is usually around 76-86 degrees year round. The house is very clean and very new so come down to Casa Pacific Saladita and enjoy one of Mexico’s most beautiful areas. I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this review. My husband & I, as well as all of our guests, absolutely loved our stay at Casa Pacifica. My husband & I were there for two weeks, with a bunch of friends joining us for the second week to celebrate my husband's birthday. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to stay here. Guillermo and Martina were quite possibly the best part of our stay. We felt like part of their family. Martina's cooking is definitely the way to go. Her chilaquiles and taquitos are what I dream of now. Everything she made was so delicious; definitely don't think twice about hiring her to cook for you. You won't regret it. The house is exactly as it looks in the photos on this website. Everything was clean & in good working order, and if there was anything that needed attention, Guillermo was on it right away. Honestly, he's the best. We all need a Guillermo in our lives. This really is one of the easiest vacations I've ever had. Easy to set up, Guillermo got in touch before we arrived to see if there was anything special that we needed for our stay. They had a ton of food & beer ready for us when we arrived, and were totally not fazed at all when we showed up almost two hours early. We were there to surf, but this isn't a surf review (though the surf was fantastic, and even right out front was pretty good when we didn't feel like driving to the point or dealing with the crowds). Easily my favorite vacation to date, and that's saying a lot. If I could, I would go to La Saladita and stay at Casa Pacifica every year. Maybe there's a repeat client discount? :) I can't thank Rick, Guillermo and Martina enough. They really have something special going on there. I had a great time at this home. We went with a large group of friends, some surfed, some did yoga, some just laid around! The staff was incredible, extremely attentive, cooking and cleaning all day long. A groups of friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Pacifica - partially to celebrate my upcoming birthday, and partially to try to score some really good waves since Saladita has such a consistent surf break. When we arrived the house was exactly what we expected based on the photos we saw on VRBO and discussions I had with the owner, Rick - it was gorgeous! The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and all have excellent views. The beds were great, and there were plenty of pillows! The living area of the house is very comfortable as well. Between the large sectional sofa, huge dining table, and amazing media room (flat screen, surround sound, Wii, etc.), there was plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax. Perhaps one of the best parts of the house is the pool area. The pool itself is amazing - the water temperature was perfect, it has a deep end, and the view from the pool is insane! In addition, there is a heated, yes heated, hot tub that would be nice and toasty each night after dinner - perfect! We opted to have the house staff cook and clean for us, which was the best decision we made. Guillermo, Martina, and Sonya were amazing - the meals were authentic and delicious, and the house was clean at all times! I highly recommend using them! Between the beach break in front of the house, Saladita Point, and a few other nearby breaks, we had plenty of waves for our group. Some of us are more experienced surfers and some more beginners - regardless, there was a spot for everyone and tons of great waves. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Pacifica! My family loves Casa Pacifica and we have returned 3 times ! We know it will be a perfect vacation - the house is gorgeous and comfortable , the caretakers are so friendly and make amazing authentic mexican food that everyone loves , the infinity pool with awesome palapa is so fun and the almost deserted tropical beach right out front turns this place into a complete paradise . If you come to Casa Pacifica you will have a wonderful stress free vacation with lots of sun,surf,great food and relaxation !Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Back for our 3rd Trip. Great family vacation. Easy surf right out front. Only left the house a few times to surf other waves in the area. Perfect house for a beach front vacation for a few families to share. If you are looking for night life, shopping, etc, this is not a good choice. If you want to be at a private beach front home to surf, eat, and relax, this is a great place.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

By far one of the best surf trips we’ve had in a long time. The home was outstanding; the food was the best, terrific staff, the grounds impeccable, clean, airy, and right on the beach. The surf: beach break in front, point breads North and South. Would be a great spot to bring your kids. The staff spoke English, and the communication’s with the owner to setup the trip was terrific.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Hi Rick! I was one of the group that just stayed at your wonderful house. I have to say that it was an absolutely perfect vacation for all of us and that Martina and her mother's cooking was sooooooooo delicious!! The casa and the waves are clean! This location has an amazingly conscientious staff and sits right in front of an awesome beach break we had all to ourselves. I caught plenty of lefts, rights and was able to surf three times a day without leaving the property area. Sunset on a surfboard every evening. We did venture north and south where there are additional world class point surf breaks, but it's not even necessary, especially when Martina has dinner ready after a glass-off. Best guacamole I've ever tasted! Beds are comfortable, plenty of room for everything -- wi-fi, relaxing. Can't say enough of how this location sucks you into another world of carefree living. Highly recommend Casa Pacifica! And they have the greatest dogs!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We just returned from a week at Casa Pacifica! We had 10 adults and 3 babies and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty and quality of the house, the food and services provided by the caretaker and his family, the weather and the surf located right outside the front door. Thank you again for having us!! We will be back!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We had a group of 6 adults and 3 kids in May. The house is great! Stayed on Playa Saladita before, but the experience was nothing like this place. Martina and Guillermo were wonderful hosts and easily worth the extra cash to have authentic meals cooked and to enjoy their company. Guillermo even let my inquisitive question machine (see 4 yr old son) go to his daughter's school for their Cinco de Mayo festival. We'll be back. Didn't want to write this as I don't want it to get too popular. The owner, Rick, was about as accomodating and laid back as anyone could be! His surfer soul comes through in every way when you deal with him. We'll be back!!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
