  Our family of two adults and five children (ages 14, 12, 6, 3, and a baby) stayed here for 3 weeks. The house is lovely, incredibly clean and true to pictures. It is perfect for large groups. It is well-stocked, right down to 3 cutlery drawers and even a slow-cooker. The furniture is very ornate, there are lots of big dried flower arrangements, etc. The location is adequate, the residential community is quiet. The yard is cozy and the pool is nice. I will just warn you to very carefully go through the house upon arrival and call the owner immediately if there is ANYTHING at all that appears damaged/stained/not quite right. This is outlined in your contract to do. I made the mistake of not reporting the living room couch, which had a bent lower frame upon arrival. The part you actually sit on was fine (not sunk in) and the couch was fully functional, so I didn't think anything of it and did not report the bent lower frame as "damaged" when I got into the house. Rental houses aren't usually perfect after all. BIG MISTAKE. I was charged for damages to repair the couch and in the end its your word against the owner (who lives in another state), and the owner has your damage deposit. It was very confusing to me since someone had rented the house just before us, and yet the staff didn't notice the broken couch until after WE left? I was also accused of some stain on the headboard in the master bedroom but apparently the cleaning lady worked extra hard and it came out and I was not charged for this stain that I did not even know existed. It was all very unfortunate and there were other issues as well, but I will be smarter next time. I might mention that when we went to use the blender, it stopped working after 3 seconds, we immediately went and replaced it. My son accidentally hit the garage light fixture with his foam play sword (the garage has a very low ceiling and you don't actually park in this carpeted garage so it was a good play place), we repaired the light fixture and were forthcoming about it. We even reported a broken glass. Just to highlight we are honest people so we were shocked when we were made to pay for the couch among other things (pool table basket repair and chip on wood). Go ahead and rent the house, but be very diligent when you arrive and depart, because even the vacuum cleaner dust is inspected and questioned after you leave.

  Owner response: Wow, what happened? Here is an email I received from these guests just few days before they left. It looks like they had a five star vacation experience at the house but being charged for damages they never disclosed changed their minds and decided to take revenge. This email along with others was also forwarded to VRBO customer support to show that it is genuine. Here it is: "Good morning Olivia, We have just thoroughly been enjoying your place and are looking to next year. Would you rent to us again? I see that this Florence estate property is already booked for a good part of March - our loss! However, I notice that you have two other properties in the area that appear to be available based on what I can see on the calendar. We are looking for March 22 - April 14 - just over 3 weeks. Is this a possibility? Of the pictures I view online, the Sunland villa appears to have a better pool for us ... its hard to beat the one we have here at Florence! Do you think you could give us the address of both properties, that we may drive by and check out the location? Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon!"

  I came down to Goodyear with 5 of my friends to play some baseball and our stay here was absolutely phenomenal. It is located in a great spot /area close to many stores and restaurants.. All the modern conveniences of home that one would want and need. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculate which is a big PLUS for us since many of my friends are very picky as to where we are staying on vacation. The grounds are exceptionally maintained and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family. There are so many wonderful features to this property and its location it will make you want to extend your stay ! Next time we are in the area; Olivia, we will be calling on you again. thanks, frank

  What a lovely, spacious home and so beautifully decorated! We came to Phoenix to celebrate the marriage of our nephew and were able to use your home for a wonderful family reunion. We had family here from Midland, MI; Tampa, FL;Minnneapolis;Indianapolis;Albuquerque and Denver. Would have loved better weather but the cool weather made the hot tub all the more enjoyable. We would definitely come back and visit your home. Very nice and comfortable accomodations! Thanks for opening it up to us!

  What a wonderful home! Had a family Thanksgiving and the accomodations were perfect. The grandkids (and parents) spent a lot of time in the pool and on the pool table. Home had everything we needed for a great turkey day. Hope to return some day.

  We are a senior softball tournament team. After 46 years of staying in hotels, some of us decided to try a house rental. Not only was this a good decision but the stay at your beautiful home was the highlight of our trip. Thank you very much for making your house available.

  This house is simply amazing. We had a fantastic time in Arizona and coming home to a house that was spacious and comforting with all the amenities just made our trip even more memorable. This house beat out many 5 stars hotels bar none. Throughout the rental process the owners were so easy to contact and so accommodating. If you plan on coming to Arizona, this house is a great vacation home for friends and family. All the best to the owners and thank you for adding to the memories.   Words cannot describe what an incredible vacation we had at this home. I have stayed at a number of vacation homes over the years and this was by far the best experiences Ive ever had. Olivia was so easy to work with and very helpful in completing the process. Upon arrival we found the home extremely clean and all furniture and appliances to be top of the line. The decor was very upscale but also felt comfortable. There was never a feeling you were in a rental. Olivia has compiled a notebook that describes not only everything you need to know about the home but local restaurants and attractions. The home entertainment options are incredable from the large screen televisions, pool, hot tub, billiards table and more. This property exceeded all of my expectations. The pictures don't do it justice! It is a beautiful property with great amenities and plenty of space. Our extended family were very pleased and ready to come back again. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning next time I am in the Phoenix area.
