I would highly recommend this wonderful place! It feels like you are in a rural area while being very close to all the area attractions. It was actually difficult to leave it to go sightseeing, it is a great place to just hang out and relax, especially in the fantastic yard.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We travel to the Albuquerque area yearly to visit kids & grandkids. The last three years we stayed in three different Casitas. All were wonderful but this was the best. Beautiful inside and out, comfortable and well equiped. This will be our first choice next year if it's availableRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wife and I wanted took a trip to Albuquerque to see some of the sights and were lucky to find this wonderful Casita for a base. The location is great, close to the highway yet tucked away in a quiet residential area. It is close to the Bosque and has a view of Sandia Mountain. The casita is very well designed with a New Mexico flavor and all modern amenities. It has everything needed to prepare your own meals, including a gas grill. It is impeccably clean. The owner is very friendly and accommodating to making sure the guests have everything they need. The Casita is perfect for couples looking for a getaway to relax. There are several outdoor patios, providing a choice of views and sun, that are perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The rear yard is fenced-in for privacy.Did you find this review helpful? Dennie and Kevin have a wonderful property. Beautifully landscaped, clean and comfortable. It was a great location for our stay during the annual Hot Air Balloon Fiesta - so much nicer than staying in a hotel. There is a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains from almost every angle. The location is convenient and Corrales is an interesting area. We reiterate what the other reviewers have said. You can't go wrong if you rent this Casita! Everything was as described.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We came to our home away from home to find gracious hosts, with a full basket of goodies, great landscaping outside, a fully equipped kitchen, and best of all--a view of Sandia Mt. at Sunset! Our only problem, the home was so nice we didn't want to leave to go to our sightseeing destinations! One other tiny problem...we had trouble finding the home at first....so be sure to get directions even with mapquest! Kevin and Denny put together a perfect getaway!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Please read this review!!! My wife and I spent almost 12 weeks at this wonderful casita during a temporary job assignment. Kevin and Dennie had the casita ready for our arrival, down to a nice potted plant on the patio. The photos do not do justice to the size and comfort of the place. Dennie was constantly grooming the beautiful landscaping. We really took advantage of the grill on the patio and entertained family and friends that visited us during our stay. The only thing that surpassed the comfort of the casita was the fantastic view of the mountains. We were amazed each night of the colors produced by the sunset on the Sandia Mountains. Don't pass up an opportunity to stay here!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This casita is clean, comfy, and quiet. I've stayed here the last three or four times I've come to New Mexico and am beginning to think of it as my home away from home. If you have the chance to stay, I'd highly recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This bungalow was perfect ! Clean and comfortable. The yard is nicely landscaped with three seating options outside of the home to enjoy that wonderful New Mexico sun and weather. Great kitchen with essentials ready. The open concept is nice to enjoy everyone while in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were a nice surprise with laundry supplies available. The hospitality from the Griffins' was very evident. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone>Owner response: Thanks for your kind words Dolly, we are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Please come visit us again! Warmly, Kevin & Dennie Griffin

We have been coming to NM for 25 years and in that time we have stayed in a variety of accomodations (motel/hotels and VRBO rentals). This casita has everything anyone could want, with the authentic Southwestern feel both inside and outside. The view of the Sandia is fabulous from both the window space and the outside patio's. Nearly any amenity is provided for and the host family is wonderful!! We no longer have the desire to find another location in NM to stay. We just hope this Casita is available when we can make the next trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Cindy & Gary, Thanks so much for the wonderful comments. We really enjoyed having you here and look forward to your next visit! Kevin & Dennie Griffin

A cozy home-like experience in a beautiful setting. Though I'd never been to New Mexico before, I feel I have been spoiled by staying at the Casita.
