Sunny Beach House on Shore of Beautiful Lake Coeur D' Alene
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:No
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
This roomy cabin has it all. Beach front, southern exposure, nice beach with dock and boat slip and easy access to Spokane and Coeur d'Alene cities year around. The home has been completely redone with new carpet and tile, paint and new mattresses and bedding. The views of the lake are awesome. There is lots to do year around.
Summer, enjoy boating and water sports and, usually, hot, dry days.
Fall is beautiful with its changing colors, crisp cool nights and warm afternoons.
Winter can be cold and snowy or cool with light rain or sun. Plenty of winter sports close at hand.
Spring is usually all three seasons rolled in to one. It can rain or snow one day and be warm and balmy the next.

Listing description misleading (dock was broken). Way over priced for the substandard amenities. Housekeeping was marginal. No driving directions to property. No instructions on how to remove garbage (renter's responsibility - shouldn't be at the price of the rent)! The view and location were positive. I cannot recommend this property without considerable improvements at the present high rental fee.Owner response: The dock went through a summer storm and has been replaced. They didn't need the dock and didn't have a boat. These renters locked themselves out of the house. We let them back in within minutes. They didn't know how to work the BBQ. We got that going in minutes. They didn't know how to work the CD player or switch the circuit breaker when the hall lights went out. These two elderly couples would have been better off with a different vacation venue. The lake is for bathing suits and swimming, boating and having fun. They were given a 25% discount for all their complaining. They had directions to the Beach House and made a wrong turn. None of this has happened to previous renters. I am sorry for them.

About the owner: Randy and I have lived on this beautiful lake in Northern Idaho for most of our lives. Our summers are spent boating, swimming and getting together with friends for dinner on the lake. Our four daughters, and their families have shared in our experience. This is a place to relax with a good book and enjoy the views, or the perfect family gathering or reunion. The fishing is great, the restaurants are plentiful whether going by boat or car. We love being close to some of the best golfing in the nation, and we are close to some major downhill skiing. Our favorite, Schweitzer Mountain is 1 1/2 hr away and has some of the best skiing in the Northwest.
Why the Owner Chose Rockford Bay:
We have retired close to this property, and as our family grows, we want to share this lifestyle with family and friends.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
I love the view of the lake from the beach house, and sitting on the sunny deck with a good book. I also enjoy taking my grandkids for a ride in the kayak. On hot days there is nothing better than a refreshing swim in the lake. We have had fun family gatherings such as Thanksgiving in the cabin, taking long walks and kicking up the leaves. The view is great no matter what time of year, and the cabin is cozy and comfortable.
