This spectacular exclusive Caribbean resort villa in the Dominican Republic was lovingly designed and constructed over a 15-month period by an award-winning American architect. Having sailed over 200,000 miles offshore, including a circumnavigation of the Earth, the owner sought a tropical Caribbean retreat in a stable, friendly country with regular non-stop air connections to the outside world. Completed in late 1997, this island getaway property was developed with one goal in mind: to create the most spectacular home on the north coast island resort of Hispaniola, Dominican Republic. Over 200 skilled artisan craftsmen shared in the process and the result, both in terms of exotic materials and fabulous beach location is nothing short of magnificent. Spread over 10 acres of gardens, pastures and lawns, the private luxury villa allows individual guests to enjoy privacy in any one of a dozen exquisite locations while accommodating groups of up to 16 with ease. Here, it is ... Paradise found. The master suite is located in its own cottage, a few steps from the main house for convenience, but set apart for privacy. The cottage features a luxurious king sized bed, his-and-hers bathrooms and a dressing room. Mahogany doors open onto a covered wraparound terrace, furnished with hammock and rocking chairs overlooking the sea-- the ideal spot for reading a book, sharing a bottle of wine at sunset, or receiving a massage or pedicure. Other sleeping accommodations include: the guest casita, a pool-side cottage featuring two bedrooms with queen sized beds, each with a large bath and wraparound terrace; the tower bedroom suite, with its two balconied bedrooms and full bath that provide stunning sea and garden views, as well as a cozy bedroom with private bath just off the villa's great room. The final structure is an ocean-view, pool-side cottage featuring two spacious suites, each with generous bath and dressing area. In addition to the ten full time bedrooms, an eleventh sleeping space is located in a charming nook, which has one extra bed that can sleep one person, adjacent to the game room. In all, there are 11 separate sleeping areas and ten full bathrooms. All linens and towels are of the best quality. The kitchen, in many ways the heart of the private villa, is a lovely space, open on two sides to gentle trade winds. The spacious, 35' x 22' great room is the perfect place to entertain, with its elegant yet comfortable ambiance, a variety of amusing coffee table literature, and functioning fireplace. There are several indoor and outdoor dining venues, including a beautiful picnic table overlooking the sea. The 20' x 26' game room houses billiard table and entertainment center with 30" satellite TV, VCR, and stereo system. TV/VCR's are also located in several other bedrooms, and the villa boasts a fine selection of current and classic movies as well as an extensive library.

Additional Information The Villa Meal Plan - includes all meals while in residence. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by our gourmet chef and served by our staff. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with cocktails and hors'd oeuvres. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are set based upon the personal preference of our guests along with any dietary requirements and restrictions. Breakfast normally include choices of cereals, breads, fresh fruits, juices, eggs, omelets, pancakes, milk, coffee, and other local fresh items. Dinner can include an array of fresh vegetables, salads, homemade desserts along with a main dish such as steak, lobster, fish, chicken, pork, shrimp, and just about any other local dish when available. Dinner is based on theme nights and is set in a variety of locations. Examples of our theme nights include but are not limited to our Pool Side or Backyard BBQ, Authentic Pig Roast Night, Surf & Turf, Italian Night and our popular Dominican Style Dinner Buffet which will introduce you to authentic and delicious Caribbean dishes. The Meal Plan also includes a generous supply of daily snacks, wine at dinner (Limit 1 bottle per 2 adults/night), one starter case of Presidente beer (each case contains 24, 12oz bottles) and 2 liters of Rum Brugal. Open Bar - The bar is stocked with a variety of liquors such as vodka, scotch, gin, whiskey, rums, beer and mixers. The bar is always open and available to guests while in residence.
