  I will simply start by stating as every reviewer has written ~ Great Condo, Awesome Location, Complete convience to all your vacation needs. BUT.. I need to stress the 10 Star Customer Service. Roger is the King of the Caribeean for Hospitality, Roger's generosity & kindness to a complete stranger is a true and honest reflection of why you should stay at this condo, and why I will no doubt return. If this is your first visit to the Island, Roger will be there for you. Roger's loyalty & comittment to his guests will ensure you have the most memorable vacation ever.I find this communication with whom I am renting from a very important part of my vacation, in helping feel safe and secure and able to have a local contact if the need arises. I find these days the lack of customer support or service so lacking - Roger has renewed my faith - and i will be forever greatful for that. So with this Condo, you get the best of both worlds, an amazing place to stay and the most awesome host you will ever meet. You will arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend.. As Roger would end, Cheers...

  It was our 4th vacation to St. Maarten and the best yet. The condo had everything we needed. The a/c worked well. There is a garage to park your car in. The condo is on the 3rd floor. Rodger takes time to come by for a visit. He is just great! The place is very safe!! There is a grocery store below which was very handy. We went out for most meals but did have a few in. There are so many great restaurants on the island and not that far of a drive. The pool at the condo was very nice. While at the pool you can watch the planes coming in and taking off. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful The closest beach is maho and then there is Mullet which is about a 5 minute drive. Mullet is our favorite beach. There is a casino right next door.We love having the car so we can visit other beaches and places. We will definately be coming back here our next visit .Rodger you are the best!!! Brenda/ Peter

  We have been visiting Sint Maarten for the last 26 years. We loved the island on our first visit, and love it now. Once we start planning our visit we can't wait to arrive, and once we leave, we can't wait to return. Roger's condo/apartment is the place to rent. His rental is on the perfect part of the island, with the perfect view, with all the necessary amenities, at a truly reasonable price. Whether you like to eat/drink great food, people watch, shop, golf, swim, watch planes and jets come and go, or just chill watching flat screens or surfing the internet with provided wifi, than this is the place to do all of that. Roger is so considerate that he checked in with us during and after our stay to assure that all was just right and that it was! As I said before we can't wait to return, and this will be the place we will stay. You will see just what we mean.

  Well we have been going to St. Maarten for 23 years and this trip was my best yet! The owner Mr. Hodge made sure of that, starting with check-in, it was a breeze I didn't have to wait, whatever time I arrived was fine and so was checkout so that makes for getting to the beach that much quicker. Place is very well maintained, everything you need as far as supplies, just need to go to the store in the Maho complex to get essentials(coffee, half & half etc). If you are not into exploring then everything you need is right in the complex (gambling, restaurants, shops) and if you like to explore its easy to get a car and drive around. Now even though I hate to admit it I still have to work and from SXM and believe me it is not always easy (the shared wireless is terrible even in the hotels), this place has its own cable modem which I plugged right into and I had all the band-with I needed everything worked perfect (magic jack, netflix, I could even access my work computer with relative ease). The terrace view of Sunset Beach Bar where all the lunatics go to get themselves blown into the water by Air France taking off, never gets old or a 747 landing over that same bar. Down by the pool are some great places to video the craziness. Great place, great owner. Would I go back ? You bet YSA I will!

  We never wanted to leave here. The view from the balcony was fantastic. We could see the beautiful beach from our balcony room which overlooked a beautiful garden as well as our swimming pool and we were close enough to see the spectacle of those brave/dumb enough to "ride" the fence as airplanes took off from Princess Juliana Airport. We were impressed by how close we were and more impressed at how quiet the condo was as the planes took off and landed; never an issue of noise or any chance of disturbing the peace we enjoyed while we were there. We visited several beaches on the island and loved Maho the best. The beach, the water, the convenience of being a one minute walk away, several American-style restaurants and ice-cream shops, a nice casino a few steps away, and the international phenomenon of airliners taking off and landing close enough one would swear he or she could jump up to touch them. The smallest of aircraft was impressive, the larger ones, awe inspiring. The condo itself had a kitchen with forks, knives, dishes, a coffee maker with filters, a dishwasher with soap, refrigerator, etc. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept the temperature as cool as we liked. Of course there was a comfortable couch and large TV. Roger, the owner, stayed in contact with us by email answering questions for us until we arrived, at which point he met us at baggage claim and took us to the condo! Roger called once during the week to check on us and made himself available if needed, but was never intrusive. My wife and I rented a car (Roger helped with this as well) and toured the island which was fun (crazy drivers, horn honking there is a good thing FYI) with lots to see. If you choose to stay your entire time at Maho, however, you wouldn't be disappointed. For the price, this cozy condo wedged between restaurants, a casino, several ATM's, a very Americanized grocery store, and a beach with water so blue you could spend hours diving for beautiful sea shells or laughing while collecting all of the hats blown off of the heads of those crazy enough to ride the fence. This was the most relaxed on vacation we have ever been. Thanks again Roger! We will be back again, hopefully soon!

• Location, location, location!

  Location, location, location!!! The friendly island was everything we wanted and more. It was my 4th time to St. Maarten and the best experience yet. I travelled with a girlfriend (her first time) for a girl’s getaway in May 2012 and it was absolutely amazing. The condo was perfect, everything you need is there and a grocery store below was very handy. My friend made breakfast every morning and loved that there were pots/pans/bowls and all her other cooking needs. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches, restaurants, cafes, bars, casinos, and shops. A MUST experience is at sunset bar/restaurant on maho beach where you watch the planes landing/ taking off! Sunset beach is nice if you like action however if you are looking for a relaxing place Mullet Beach is approximately a 7 min walk from the condo and it is one of the many nice beaches on the island. If you ever get the chance to go to Pinel Island head over there as it is one of the most beautiful places (however it’s approximately 1hrs away). Getting around the Island is very easy. If you choose to rent a car it is very easy to navigate and explore the island. If you rather not rent a car, there is a local bus that can take you wherever you want for approximately $3 to explore into town and find more traditional cuisine or just to sight see. And if you don’t feel like getting sandy one day and just want to relax in a chair by a pool, the condo has a nice pool on-site that overlooks the hustle and bustle of Sunset Beach. You have a bar there, or you can be like us and supply your own drinks as you relax under your own lounge chair and umbrella. All of this next to a beautiful garden that they keep very well. All I can say is that I loved everything about the condo. A special thanks to Roger, you are truly one of a kind! You were accommodating and made our stay at your condo that much more enjoyable!   Truly a home away from home and great base for our weeks stay on the friendly island.... The apartment was spacious, clean and bright, good assortment of channels on the tv, comfy bed and wonderful communial pool and jacuzzi... The views are awesome and the planes landing and taking off fascinating... The local supermarket is downstairs, together with a cafe and spa.... Maho, where the apartment is located is full of nightlife, bars, restaurants and shops... the golf course is also just around the corner.... And you must experience the sunset bar/restaurant on maho beach and watch the planes flying in overhead! You'll need a car to explore the rest of the island... Marigot is one of our favorite hang outs, but Grand Case and Orient Beach is a great day out too... Nearer to home is Simpson Bay, with many restaurants... And Philipsburg is a shoppers paradise! Thanks for all your attentiveness Roger...we'll be back if your apartment is free when visiting our daughter again....

  Have just returned from my 8th trip to my favourite island and my 3rd trip staying in this condo. Roger is an exceptional host and prompt to respond to any concerns. I had the pleasure of spending a month in the condo and truly felt at home, but with a much nicer view than I have at home. I would spend hours on the balcony every morning, having breakfast, reading the papers, catching up on E.mails. It was so relaxing. I miss it already. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay - all the cooking facilities if you want to cook some of your own meals, great restaurants literally right outside the door, a grocery store below the condo, and my personal favourite, the Sunset Bar and Grill just across the beach. I look forward to many more vacations in Roger's condo and have already booked for next year. I can strongly recommend this condo for a great vacation on a wonderful island

  Two adults + one youth stayed 11 days in this fully equipped and breath taking condo. Far the best around Maho Bay, and in general around St.Maarten! We have not seen such a kind owner anywhere. The view from the vast balcony is glorious, wonderful views of the arriving airplanes! (You can also use an observation terrace next to the clean and relaxing pool and jaccuzi. The garden is beautiful. As of the condo: Bedroom and living room with kitchen: each have a TV, lots of places to pack into, air conditioning, nice furniture, fast WIFI internet access, the beds are absolutely comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for a dinner. We never missed something. Excellent! Bathroom is modern, clean, towels provided. All in all, can't say a bad word about this accommodation, if you are hesitating between this and others in St.Maarten - STOP now, it will be your dream condo! Can't wait to return!
