  My husband and I stayed at this condo during Winter Carnival 2013. We loved how close it was to the gondola area and downtown Steamboat was just a short bus ride. This condo had everything that we needed and was perfect for us. We used the pool, hot-tubs, and laundry room and everything was clean and worked great. The owners of this condo were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

  Beautiful condo with everything you need. This condo is probably the closest one to the pool and hot tubs, just a few steps away from the back porch. Managers were very nice and helpful. We were 3 guys (2 brothers and 1 friend) staying in the condo. It was good, but I can see the condo being much better for a couple having a romantic getaway.

  This tastefully decorated 1st floor condo is located just off the condo entrance path, easing the hassle of hauling baggage & skis through several feet of perfect power snowfall. It is within walking distance to the central ski area but we took the very convenient Steamboat Springs Transit bus (purple line) to and from the Gondola area, leaving our jeep parked for the most part. The bus comes by about every 20 minutes at two stops for Rockies condos (one at the top of the hill and the other by the south end of the complex. After a full day of perfect skiing, we relaxed in the hot tub & swam in the heated pool. To make evenings out more relaxing we called the local shuttle service which provides transportation up until 10PM (tips only). The apartment was decorated with charming family pictures, had a very comfortable king size bed and to our teenager's surprise a very comfortable fold out couch bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, the owners had thought to include videos for evening viewing and even hand lotion for their guests. During our stay the bearings on the fireplace fan blower gave out and we resorted to the backup heat of electric baseboards; the condo didn't quite warm up as quickly and the air was alot drier but we were still plenty warm. We were unable to use the ski locker for snowboards (the lock appeared to be frozen shut) and only had 3 pool towels for 4 people but overall our stay was simply perfect & the owners are delightful people to work with who truly want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

  Owner response: Unfortunately, we were not able to schedule service on the fireplace fan during the holidays; however, the fireplace itself was operational. The previous guests had locked the ski locker from the inside, which made it impossible to open from the outside. We pulled the pins, reset the lock for the next guests, and fixed it so the locker won't accidently be locked from the inside by future guests. Additional pool towels will be stocked in the unit.

  Really enjoyed the condo! My wife and I came with my company for three nights. Such a wonderful place. We ski/snowboarded, walked through town, and had a great time everywhere we went. Can't wait to come back!

  We had a great time. Very nice place. Quiet! Had three days of great skiing. Good snow! We visited our daughter that lives here and come up several times a year.

  Loved being next to the jacuzzi and pool and just a flight of stairs away from the free shuttle. Unit was very clean. Awsome sofa sleeper and really appreciated the qualify of beddings/furnishings. The only surprise was that the unit is definitely smaller than the pictures reflect but you have to keep in mind that it is 1 bedroom/1bath afterall. Overall, great value for the price. Would recommend to others for sure.
