  My husband and I truly enjoyed not only your lovely, comfortable house on Kiawah, but also the great location and beautiful, private surrounding lot. Thanks for all the tips you offered, i.e. restaurants, shopping, and particularly the bike rental company. It was so pleasant to be able to bike to the Town Center market and The Sanctuary instead of getting into the car. This was our first trip to Kiawah, and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the island. It was so peaceful that we felt it would be inappropriate to turn on the car radio for fear that it would break the island spell. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets daily at the extraordinary beach. There were times when you could count the number of people on the beach on one hand. My only disappointment was not seeing an alligator, not even a head sticking out of the water, but maybe next time. We thank you, Matt and Kathy, for allowing us to rent your house this past week, and we hope to be back in the future.

  My family just returned yesterday from a week at your house. What a fabulous time! The pool was great to escape from the heat after time at the beach. We spent a couple of days in Charleston exploring the Battery and Patriots Point. Essentially this house has 4 suites - each room has its own full bath room. Two up, two down. We were able to accommodate our family, with both of my kids getting their own rooms, as well as my sister and her husband. The owners were great to work with. The beaches of Kiawah are not crowded due to the fact that the entire island is a gated community. Don't let the bike ride dissuade you - it was straight up the Allee of Oaks, the historical route to the beach from the Vanderhorst mansion, shaded and beautiful. We will be back!

  My family and I had a luxury of staying at your beautiful home a few weeks ago. Needless to say, we are already locking down some dates to return. The house has the perfect blend for a family with respective quarters to get some privacy. Although mother nature didn't provide us with the sunniest of days, we had a lovely time in the pool, hitting up the local shops and checking out the island in itself. At night the screen-in porch makes for the perfect spot for a card game to wrap up the night. Your extra efforts with recommendations to various restaurants and hotspots was very helpful and much appreciated. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Matt and family!

  Our stay at your house was simply phenomenal! The house is gorgeous and the weather picture perfect. Often times the photos and listing descriptions on the website and the actual house are vastly different. This was not the case here. From the start of interacting with the owner and throughout our stay everything was effortless and stress free. Our entire family has such a relaxing and enjoyable time. We plan to do it again next year. Thank you for the use of home!!

  Matt, We just got back from our vacation trip to Kiawah and your beautiful home. We enjoyed your home very much, it was comfortable and had everything we could have only imagined we needed. We rented bikes and rode them to the beach everyday ( with perfect weather ). We definately want to go back next year and would enjoy renting your home again. Thanks again.....looking forward to another visit.

  Matt, We had an amazing week in your home and really enjoyed it! The house was more than we expected. The location and pool were perfect for us. That walk to the beach was amazing. So many nature encounters everyday. Thanks for sharing your home. We hope to return next year!

  Hi Matt - I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in your beautiful Kiawah Island home. Everything was great and, like you said, Kiawah is incredibly relaxing. We left a couple of beach chairs, boogie boards and a couple of bach games for your nest group to enjoy. Susan

  What a wonderful week! I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your beautiful home on Kiawah. We all agreed this was the best time we have ever had together in the many years that we have been going to the beach. Thank you for allowing us to rent your home.
