  Hello, My name is Andrea. I'm from Indiana. Our family chose this cabin because it's a central location in between for our family to be together and we each drove 4-5-6 hours to get here. We have enjoyed our time tremendously. This is the first time since 2006 that me and my siblings have been together with our families. It is also my great niece's 1st birthday and she took us many years to get. Her parent went through many efforts to get her. So 1 year ago today 11/23 we received a beautiful baby. Our family has many military support, Airforce, Army, both active duty and vet's. We only then can be together certain holidays out of the years. Please enjoy yourselves as we have and watch for the raccoons as they love to wander by the front door to see what's going on.

  First -- the photos on the ads don't do this home justice. We stayed here for just one weekend in mid-October 2012. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The cabin is large and still manages to be cozy. We had 19 people and there was room to spare. There are enough nooks to ensure privacy for teenagers to hide, adults to play games, and a group to watch movies - all at the same time. The place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All the luxuries you would expect: Plenty of bathrooms, hot water, heat works great, fireplace, heated floors, etc. The neighborhood is fantastic. There are hiking trails nearby that match any of the trails at Linville Falls (pick up a local hiking trail guide at Fred's Mercantile on your way in), including waterfalls and wilderness and wildlife. Highly recommend this lodge. Book it as early as you can.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

  Loved the house. It is wonderful! Our family had a wonderful vacation! We released our balloons in memory of my mother that would have been 100 years old on 8/9/12. We celebrated my husband’s birthday. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

  We had an enjoyable stay at the Beech Mountain Lodge. It was the perfect weekend for a "Winter Retreat" with our youth from Antioch Baptist. The accomodations were great and very comfortable, even with our large group. The icing on the cake for the weekend was the beautiful snow that God sent for us to enjoy

  "The house is fantastic. There are plenty beds, and plenty of seating. We've been commenting on the garden. Such attention to detail.
