Our charming villas blend Balinese design with luxurious Western comforts. All rooms are equipped with wifi internet access for guests with laptops.
Relax and recharge your batteries in the peaceful, natural setting. An acre of tropical gardens is decorated with locally produced stone carvings and water features, set amongst superb views of the surrounding rice fields. The swimming pool has Balinese side fountains and sun lounge areas. Dine in various Balinese style dining pavilions set in tropical gardens or pool side.
The compound has four separate accommodations (two villas, two suites) which are normally rented separately, but all four may be taken by a family or group of friends.
Each villa consists of a 5 meter x 6 meter air-conditioned bedroom, indoor toilet/vanity, outdoor garden bath with oversized terrazzo tub, 7 meter x 3 meter terrace with seating and a 2meter x 2 meter pavilion with cushions and low table for eating and looking out over the rice fields. The villa is enclosed in Balinese style walls with carved gate, with a private garden space and fish pond.
The suite is located upstairs in a 2 storey bungalow and has a bird's eye view of the rice fields and mountains. It has an air-conditioned 5 meter x 6 meter bedroom, large interior marble bath and balcony with plenty of seating to overlook the glorious panoramic views.
Bali Villas Location: Mandala Desa is located near Ubud, Bali, just five minutes from the silversmithing village of Celuk, the art market of Sukawati, the stone carvers' village of Batubulan, and a 15 minute drive from Ubud Centre. The villas are 40 minutes from Bali International Airport. Mandala Desa is set within a traditional Balinese village surrounded by rice fields and farms, temples and artisans.
Team of ten full time staff attend to housekeeping and assist you in planning excursions. Guests receive 10% discount at Dragonfly Restaurant in Ubud. Breakfasts included, full menu with Balinese and western dishes available for other meals and the chef welcomes special requests.
Car and driver available for just US $50 per day or $8 per hour. Broadband internet service available in all accommodations. Cultural classes available (Balinese cooking, dance, carving, etc.). Staff will help with any tours required by guests. Airport transfers are complimentary.
By arrangement, spectacular performances of Balinese dances can be arranged along with a feast of local specialities. Truly memorable and of course a great photo opportunity!
