2000 square foot private home. Located Ocean Front 50' from the beach, on the exclusive North end of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. This custom home has a most unique motif created with beautiful tongue and groove walls and ceiling that form the authentic shape of an inverted 15th Century wooden ship. European tile throughout the first floor gives a cool, clean elegant feeling.

Tropical artwork and nautical furnishings surround mahogany window treatments. A twenty-foot long curving elevated tile countertop starts in the galley (kitchen) and ends up in the salon. The full-size kitchen, done galley style, includes all new appliances and utensils, which include a commercial stainless steel, digitally controlled refrigerator/freezer, gas stove for the gourmet cook in the group, stand-alone ice machine, microwave, dishwasher and stainless steel counter tops surrounded by beautiful custom wooden cabinets. A cozy corner banquet adjoins the galley -- a great place for breakfast or reading the paper. Moving into the salon, there is comfortable seating with a large LCD panel flat screen TV, with surround sound, mounted above the gas fireplace, which can be started with the flip of a light switch.

In the Florida room, which is oceanside, there is an antique wooden bar from an Irish pub along with a rattan dining table with which to serve refreshments. This is a fun area for relaxing, playing cards and watching the wildlife in the sand dunes.

There are two master Suites - one with French doors that open to the large balcony overlooking the ocean. You can invite company to sit and enjoy watching the boats and listening to the waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean or enjoy an espresso at your table for two, sitting next to a picture window that also overlooks the ocean. The all-tile bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub and separate tile shower. The second master is in the motif of a Captain's quarters of a ship. All custom tongue and groove wood run up the walls and curve into the shape of a wooden dory boat, complete with wooden-rib overlays. This room has the king-size bed and indirect lighting that makes this the most intimate room in the house. It, too, has an all-tile bathroom with a glassed-in shower.

The third bedroom is downstairs, tucked away from the activities of the salon and Florida room. It consists of four single births, bunked one above the other, "boat" style with fish print wallpaper. This berth will accommodate a boat full of pirates. And, there is another head (bathroom and shower) just outside the door.
