Glimpse of Heaven is a three bedroom cottage close to the amenities but far enough up the mountain to have a fantastic view of Lake Petit and the mountains beyond. The master on the main floor has a king bed with master bath. The great room, eating area, kitchen, deck, and screened porch all are also on the main floor. Downstairs has a queen bedroom and a third bedroom with two bunk beds and a trundle bed, and share a bathroom. Our cottage is the perfect location for a getaway to the mountains for an amazing experience of quiet privacy. We supply everything that you should need from linens, towels, paper products like toilet paper and paper towels, washing maching detergent, shampoo, etc. to firewood.
Big Canoe is a 9,000 acre gated community established as a wildlife sanctuary. We have seven mountains and five lakes, three championship golf courses, a fabulous tennis facility with eight outdoor and two indoor courts, three swimming pools, two outdoor and one indoor, a world class fitness center, a beach with swimming lake and water slide, a trout stocked lake for fishing and boating, twenty plus miles of hiking trails, and all kinds of wildlife.
