    Das Beste an diesem Haus war der Ausblick auf den Atlantik. Leider hatten wir Ungeziefer in allen Räumen. Für die Hausbesitzerin war dies nicht besonders tragisch, sie sagte wir sollen die Dose Ungezieferspray im Küchenschrank benutzen. Da wir selbst ein Haus im Süden von Spanien besitzen, wissen wir Ungeziefer muss nicht sein. Man kann Kakerlaken auch nicht mit Sprühdosen bekämpen. Hier muss eine Spezialfirma beauftragt werden. Das Essgeschirr musste vor der Benutzung auch komplett gesäubert . Im ganzen Haus roch es modrig und muffig. Nach einer Woche waren wir froh wieder abreisen zu dürfen. Wir können dieses Haus nicht empfehlen.

I enjoyed sharing the history of our home and location as well as pointing out various things to see along the beach. You are most welcome for the lovely flowers, extra towels, and other amenenities provided. We wanted to make sure you were comfortable and well taken care of as guests in our country. As shown in our guest reviews our home on the beach for the last 12 years has been a retreat for many couples and families - we strive to make their stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. We enjoy meeting and greeting our guests from across the country to add our own personal touch. What a great place to just relax and enjoy family & God's beauty!

    The house was beautiful! The wedding was perfect!! And we had fabulous weather! We couldn't have asked for a better place or location. It was centrally located to everything that we wanted to do.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We've always found the location of the house is great for last minute runs to the grocery store or to grab a bite of lunch at the nearby pizza house. Sometimes it's great to just order food for pick up and eat on the deck, too. You all are welcome to return - stay in touch!

    This house far exceeded my expectations for a fun family get together. Upon our arrival the owner graciously met with our family to not only give us a key, but to give us a tour of the home as well as information of local activities for all ages of our family. It was such a treat to stay in this lovely spacious home. All of our family members enjoyed their well decorated rooms with comfortable bedding, and I personally enjoyed the granite countertops with cooper sinks, great touch! The kitchen was above and beyond with the accessories for cooking. The dining table had plenty of space for our whole family to sit together at meal time as did the sectional couch where we each enjoyed curling up together and watching late night movies. We really felt like we were at home here. What a view this house gives to a front row seat to dolphin watching. We were able to catch the dolphins at least 3 times during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. WE WILL RETURN!

    Had a great stay in your wonderful place . . . was perfect for us. Missed the turtle hatch of 117 little ones when we went to dinner. Came to see our son stationed at Camp Lejeune and to celebrate Mom's 80th birthday!

    Turtles hatched on Tuesday (after our Saturday arrival). Everything is fine, we had a great time fishing, sightseeing and I even drew a sketch of the beach on a rainy day (Not Sotheby's material though!) Thank you for the hospitality!

    Picture perfect vacation. This home was a home away from home. All amenities of your own home, with a view. Step out to the oceanfront and walk for miles along the shore. There were ten of us renting this home, 3 children, 7 adults. Everyone had fun, from mini golf to a day at the beach. Minutes away from golf, miniature golf, dining, movies. Our family favorite place to dine used to be Rucker John's, but the newly opened Portafino is our first choice now, serving italian cuisine. We have been on the island before, and we definately have decided rental of this home is the way to go. Would recommend this home for a family reunion, get a way, etc.

It seems you took advantage of the local near by sights to see as well as just soaking up the spaciousness of our home. It is a great place to just be still and to enjoy the beauty of the ocean, sand, and the pelican "fly-overs" as well as the dolphin swimming along.     The fireworks show was amazing at the pier-loved watching them shoot over the ocean. Thank you for the airport suggestions and directions to the house.

    My family and I enjoyed our stay at the condo. We did indeed see Dolphins in the morning hours playing in the ocean. We had a wonderful view from both the decks and the outdoor shower was wonderful. No paper products are provided however so you should bring your own toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen garbage can liners from home. We would rent this condo again if the opportunity provided itself. The owner made herself available to us for any questions we had. Thanks Debby

    Our two married children, grandchildren, cousins, and friends had a fabulous week in this lovely oceanfront beach home. The owner, Debby, helped us immediately when we couldn't work the WiFi. On the upper and lower levels the views were spectacular, and we sighted dolphins too. The furnishings were attractive with granite countertops in a fully stocked kitchen. My husband and I stayed in the top floor queen size bedroom for the first few days. I liked sitting in the rocking chairs on the upper deck while looking at the ocean. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing with the games and cards near their room. When our children left midweek, we moved to the spacious Master Bedroom suite. It was wonderful enjoying the ocean on this deck too. Our adult friends and cousins arrived and had a great time.The unit works best for two families with children. When we had 10 adults at one time it seemed a bit crowded in the living area.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Both decks are a great place to really see the dolphins and to spread out as everyone gathers for meal time. That's why we've put tables & chairs on each deck to allow for more room for all! While some folks like to eat at the table for 8, others like to sit on the stools at the kitchen bar, or just outside to take in all the sights! You are most welcomed to return when you're thinking of Emerald Isle again! You all were great guests to have in our home!

    My husband and I had an awesome time in this lovely home. The home's oceanfront location was great! The house was well appointed-a home away from home-not just an ordinary rental house. The owners maintained contact with us prior to our visit and arranged to greet us upon our arrival. They made us feel so at home and provided tips on good restaurants and shopping. We were able to truly relax and take long walks to see the gorgeous sunsets. We wil make plans to return.

    We're so happy that we stumbled upon your rental property. It was a wonderful week at the beach from the weather to our lodging. It was so nice to have a fully stocked kitchen. Hopefully, we can enjoy it again in the near future. P.S. It was a "first"-seeing the dolphins ride the waves!

    One never really knows if a rental website is true with their pictures and amenities . . . we were pleasantly surprised to find that and more! We've had an incredible family experience. We did see the dolphins once and what a delight! The beach was cheering them on like we thought they could hear us! I loved the all the extras in the house-a mixer, measuring cups, bundt cake pan, lined cabinets and drawers and list goes on. Thank you for making this a home, not a rental property.

    What a great week! We were a little suspicious of everyone's dolphin sightings . . . until our last day! We saw them in the morning and in the evening! It was the perfect end to a wonderful week! Thank you for the use of your lovely home!

    Wow! We had a great time! The house was perfect and the location couldn't have been better. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Each day we awoke to the beautiful ocean view, and each night we fell asleep listening to the gentle lapping of the waves. We enjoyed long walks on the soft sandy beach and watched amazing sunsets. Definitely recommended! Rest and relaxation at last!

    We had a great time. The kids enjoyed the sand bar. The ocean was calm most days and it was sunny all week! My cousin was out on his kayak and the dolphins came right up to him.

    We had a wonderful vacation at your lovely beach house. It has been some years since we last visited Emerald Isle and hopefully, we will return a lot sooner next time. Our two daughters were thrilled each time the dolphins appeared and the adults enjoyed seeing them, too!

    This house was so different from all the previous houses we have stayed in! All the rooms were so nicely decorated and equipped with anything you could ever need. Tons of books and movies were set out as well. It was wonderful to look out the massive windows on the top floor at the sprawling beach. Thank you so much for a wonderful setting for our vacation!

    We had HIGH expectations for our beach vacation & Oh, my!!! What a beautiful house, wonderful beach, and GREAT weather!! The dolphins entertained us several times and we also enjoyed the NC Aquarium up the road. Thank you ofr supplying this house with so many useful and fun things. We have made family memories to last a lifetime! What a blast!!
