  Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We had plenty of room and everything was very accommodating. Our grandchildren enjoyed the natural habitat around the house and all of the books in the house. Thanks again!

  Butterfly Haven lodge was a very nice property, within deep woods within the Hocking Hills region and was a very private setting. The tall trees and woods surrounding the home provided excellent shade all day long. The layout of the home was perfect and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the home and all the home's amenities. The home was within walking distance to the Glen Laurel Inn and it's restaurant, and just a short drive to Cantwell Cliffs, Rock House, and Conkles Hollow parks. The living room, dining room and kitchen easily handled our group of 12 people and was very spacious. The large decks along the front and on both ends of the house were perfect for outdoor gatherings and socializing and we spent a great deal of time outside enjoying the scenery. The outdoor landscaping was nice, bit needs a bit of trimming and weeding. I'd highly recommend this home to my friends and family who need a place for 8 - 12 people. Personally, I'd like to rent this lodge home again next summer.

  We rented Butterfly Haven for six nights as a vacation/celebration for my sister's 60th birthday. Everyone was amazed at the house and all it had to offer. The house itself was lovely and well equipped, and the scenery was just fantastic! We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and would definitely consider a return visit.

  This house was great and super clean when we showed up. We also stayed for a long weekend in May and had an equally good time. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is nicely decorated. There is plenty of sleeping space, the outside was nice and well maintained. A good time was had by all.

  The place is beautiful with many new updates and conveniences. We built fires and went to see Santa in ash Cave a must-do if you have little ones. Kitchen was well-stocked and the entire place was very clean.

  We stayed Christmas Weekend. Just beautiful. So quiet, softly falling snow, just perfect. We saw a couple of deer, and squirrels and lots of birds. Blue Jays, woodpeckers. So happy to see feeders around. Planning on going back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors. Very clean, comfortable, welcoming. Everything you could need and more. Beautiful place. I highly recommend it. We were definatley not disappointed. Much more than we expected.

  Our family of 8 really enjoyed our recent stay at Butterfly Haven. The lodge is very comfortable, clean and a great destination to relax! We loved the scenic location, the hot tub and the bon-fire pit! The home was very nicely decorated for Fall. We found the lodge quite spacious and really enjoyed our weekend there! We were hoping to return for New Year's but it was already booked! Thanks for your hospitality! The area attractions brochures and activities book was very helpful!   The home is very nice and up to date in furnishings. The weather was icky so we pretty much stayed inside. Lots of room and - as Chase told me - had a very well equipped kitchen. We did not have any problems cooking a Thanksgiving feast there. I would suggest leaving a binder with a little more information about the place - especially the TV's. There could be a little more direction on how to open the front door. It was comfortable and peaceful! Directions were terrific and the location is great too - very close to Logan in case you need to get to a store! The basement was rather chilly and didn't seem like there was much heat going down there. Also, my nephew would very much have liked to play darts with the scoreboard functioning but we couldn't find the power cord..... They did enjoy the air hockey table. Great place if you like to read!

  I thought the Butterfly Haven Lodge was wonderful! We were 5 minutes from Cantwell cliffs (beautiful hiking!) and close to Logan shopping. The lodge is very cozy and has plenty of space. The privacy is rejuvenating and makes morning coffee outside something you shouldn't miss. There were a lot of butterflies in the flowers out front, and I enjoyed watching the wild birds soar with the wind. Next time I go to Hocking Hills, I plan to stay at the Butterfly Haven Lodge. I may even try the spa or fine dining within reasonable walking distance (though you'd never know it!). There are so many books to look at! It will take many visits for us to even read all of the titles. What a wonderful way to spend a quiet evening after enjoying s'mores with our kids at the fire pit!
