I would like to claim that I wrote the title to this review but I actually stole it from another reviewer. It's true, though. We have visited Las Vegas many times but this was our first stay at Vdara. It is really nice. The bed is very comfortable and the room is pleasantly quite. The aroma in the lobby is refreshing and calming. I don't know where they get the scent but it is unique and wonderful. It isn't very often that your review includes an olfactory section. The pool and hot tub are relaxing with a good view of Aria. We originally booked for 6 days but stretched it to 8 and Debbie was very accommodating. If you would like to learn a little bit about the Mob, we suggest you visit the new Mob Museum at 300 Stewart Street (officially the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement). It's in a former Federal Court House/Post Office. We had a great time here and recommend this unit without reservation.

Vdara-suite 9015 pool view

When we arrived the suite still had not been properly cleaned. The previous guests groceries,dirty utensils were still in the kitchen and missing things like no towels in bathroom and other utensils for the kitchen. We requested cleaning and bathroom towels. Nothing happened for 24 hours after repeated calls to house keeping.Debbie (who was looking after things while Chase was in Europe) got back to us the next day (24hours after we had arrived) and apologozied for the inconvience and provided us with a $100 credit towards our hotel incidentals which was nice of her to do. After this mishap the cleaning service was prompt and efficient and the rest of our stay was comfortable other than the pool was closed for maintenance and it was loud banging each morning. They said the pool would be running within a few days but it never did operate in the 12 days we were there and no one was able to answer the simple question of when the pool was scheduled to reopen.The only other thing was on the day before we were having to check-out we asked Debbie if we could stay another 2 days ( we asked by e-mail and left a voice mail message on her cell phone) but no one ever responded to our request.We moved to another room on a higher floor with a great view for our last 2 days.

Owner response:Although somethings are out of our control,ie: Vdara Housekeeping,(Lauren A.,Guest Services Manager is investigating why housekeeping did not act accordingly to our standards),one thing we have learned from this incident is to have more contact numbers available to our guests. I checked through all emails and voice mail messages and could not find any requests for an extended stay. We would been glad to accommodate Mr. Carpentier had we known. We apologize for any inconveniences and are pleased Mr. Carpentier gave us 4 out of 5 stars......Debbie Swift, Co-Owner

Amazing Stay!

We just returned today from our stay at Vdara, and I wanted to write a review right away. The owner was great to work with, from my first email inquiring about availability, all the way up through our stay in Vegas. He always responded to my emails timely and was happy to help with a variety of questions, etc. -- the customer service was above and beyond what we expected. As far as the suite itself is concerned, it was perfect! We really enjoyed the space, and having a refrigerator was very handy! This was our first trip to Vegas, and if we return, we won't hesitate to book our stay with this owner again.

City Center and Vdara is the very definition of "World Class". The Suite was beautiful and customer service at Vdara is unparalleled. We will definitely be back.

Vegas Girls Trip!

We have just returned from our girls trip to Vegas and we were sad to leave our beautiful suite! It was just as described if not better! When we had an issue with the front desk charging us the extra hotel fees, the owner took care of it immediately. It was a very quiet room with everything you would ever need or want. Our only suggestion would be for the owner to clarify that the coffee maker uses the cups rather than regular coffee grounds. We were not able to find any to use on the strip. Perhaps we weren't looking in the correct spot. We would defintitely stay here the next time we come to Vegas and I will be recommending it to all of my friends!

I have to say that this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The service at the hotel was excellent and the unit was amazingly comfortable. Some people say that if you go to Vegas, it doesn't matter where you stay because you don't spend a lot of time in your room. Well, after staying in this unit, I would have to disagree. It's nice to come back to the room after a full day of walking, and partying to a nice clean room and comfy bed. The location is perfect. Only steps away from the strip but far enough from the casinos that you don't have to put up with the crowds and smoke when you are ready to call it a day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located between the Bellagio, Aria, and Cosmopolitan. All accessible through indoor walkways. It's a quiet non-smoking environment with all the nightlife amenities within walking distance. The bed is exceptional. Your body melts into the mattress. One of the best sleeps that I have had. The owner is genuine, interesting, and has a very quick response time. I would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Las Vegas. I will definitely return again.

We stayed for a weekend in October and had a wonderful time. The room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The tram was only a minute away and was attached the the Vdara. A short walk and you're on the strip, right in front of the Cosmopolitan. Turned out to be a great location and very quiet.Would easily recommend to anyone.
