  Our group of 4 couples spent the weekend and enjoyed our stay very much! The house on the lake was very neat and clean with all the comforts of home. The 4th bedroom area is actually divided into two separate rooms which worked out well for us. The living room and kitchen area were lovely and cozy with plenty of room for visiting and eating. We used the outside covered porch often for eating and visiting and a nice view of the lake. The only inconvenience for our group was that the upstairs bathroom was located in such a way that one couple had to walk through the other's in order to use the bathroom. Not a real problem, but some felt awkward doing so. When driving into the area, be aware that the neighborhood is unrestricted, so there are all types of housing ranging from some pretty run-down trailers to very nice houses. The area where this house is located is very nice however, as are all the houses on the street. All in all it was a very fun weekend and we would enjoy coming back again!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

When we are there and someone is using the other king bedroom upstairs, they use one of the other 2 bathrooms downstairs. Anyway, I hope that's an idea for you next time.   Thank you again for sharing your beautiful Cedar Creek Lake Home. Weather was a perfect 70-75 degrees each day with rain at night. Perfectly relaxing for our third Easter here. Hope we can come back next year. Thanks again!

  Brett - We had a great time at the lake, weather was fantastic, the house was beautiful and well stocked. It had everything we needed....and we caught quite a few fish right off the dock (all 8 of us caught at least one fish......never before had a trip where everyone went home with a real fish story to tell). We all had an amazing time....thanks so much.

  Our family spent time together during the holidays in the Morrell's lake house to unwind and relax. It was the perfect setting for fellowship, reflection, and rest. The view is wonderful and the amenities just as described. A well-kept property that fit our needs beautifully. Thank you for sharing it with us!

  We enjoyed our three day stay at Cedar Creek. It was a beautiful home with everything we could want. We would gladly come back would recommend it to anyone, a couple wanting a weekend away or a family of 10 or more that need a weeks worth of vacation. The house will accommodate a large or small group and has plenty of room for the kids. The outdoor space is very nice and would be great in the summer.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My friends & I wanted to get out of the city & just slow down for the weekend, without having to drive 5 hours away. This house was perfect! Inside was lovely with all the comforts of your own home. The house is great for small or large groups as the kitchen/living area is open with plenty of seating and places to sleep. Everything looks just like the pictures, with the pleasant surprise of the view of the water from the living room/kitchen: feels like you're out on the porch. Our group had different personalities: early risers, nappers, night owls... but it didn't matter. The house accommodated all of our needs. Comfty beds & couches for relaxing, peaceful view of birds flying over the water at sunrise, quiet neighborhood to go on walks, stocked kitchen to make full meals, and being able to stay up late playing games inside or sitting outside looking up at billions of stars. It was exactly what we were looking for. Brett is great with all the details & leaves helpful instructions throughout the house. We would definitely recommend staying here & hopefully will be back again ourselves.

  Lovely home, very clean and nicely decorated. You can sit in the living room and kitchen and enjoy the great view of the lake through all of the windows that line the back part of the house. Of course, sitting on the big back porch looking at the same view is even better. That was our favorite feature of the house. Even in November, it was a great gathering spot for a group of old college friends to meet and reconnect. Also, the house looked exactly like the pictures on the listing.

  My high school girlfriends and I just completed our third annual get-together at the Morell lake house. We have a blast (old fashioned word for lots of fun!). Brett is very accommodating, and the house is fabulous for a retreat from the busy city lives we all live. It is just the right distance from Dallas, and the house is very comfortable for our reunion. We all recommend it to anyone who needs someplace to unwind and enjoy family and/or friends.

  We had the best time! In our group was 10 adults + 2 children and we had plenty of room and beds! The house is very large and spread out. The 2 balconies had great views. The kids loved swimming down by the dock. The sand is nice without any clay or moss. We brought a lot of food to grill/cook and we had everything we needed. The owners were near their cell phones the few times we had any questions. We will for sure come back! Thanks for opening up such a nice home to us! Jay & Jen.
