The St. John's River runs through the lake as far south as Brevard County and as far north as the Atlantic Ocean and Jacksonville.
For the hunting enthusiast, the home is located directly across the street from the Lake George State Forest. The Ocala National Forest is 15 miles away. Take a short walk down the street to watch the sunset on Lake George. Peaceful and serene.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house during the month of March and April 2011. The house was beautifully furnished with all the amenities, big screen TV, garage, canoe for the lake, everything you would need for a great vacation in Florida. Carl and Diana were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make you feel at home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we've "booked" for January thru April 2012 and hope to make this our "permanent" winter retreat. The neighbors were great and the landlords are now considered as "friends."Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.
