  We had a great time at Tropical Paradise. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and, despite the July heat, we had a blast in the pool during the day and at night. Tropical Paradise is the perfect place for a restful vacation- we can't wait to book our next stay!

  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all I would to say that both Ken and Harrison with Acme Property Mgmt. were very pleasant to work with and took care of our immediate problems without delay....the house was generally pretty clean but there is only so much they could do...I agree with previous reviews that this property is VERY TIRED AND NEEDS SOME GENERAL T.L.C. The cookware and dishware need to be upgraded...the shower in the small bathroom really needs replacing, since there were only 2 of us staying we were not forced to use it, which was a good thing...there were yard people that came once a week, but only mowed the small yard in the back and did nothing with all the weeds and dead plants in a few of the pots...many of the cabinets throughout the house would not as you hear the house needs a concerned owner to go through and spend a few dollars to do some upgrades. This house was on the top of the rental prices we have paid previously but in this condition is overpriced. Hopefully this review will help in bringing this home up to the condition it deserves.

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool heater not turned on until the morning we arrived. Took 24 hours to heat. Home manual confusing and incomplete. We were unable to use DVD players for movies. No instructions on where porch light panel was located. The outside (single) porch light was burned out and we couldn't find bulbs. The propane bbq didn't work unless we struck a match to it (confirmed by Julio). The kitchen was poorly stocked with broken/chipped dishes and cheap pots that were hard to clean. There weren't enough pots. There were no cleaning supplies other than dish soap. There had been a rodent in the house because we found a half clawed unopened paper towel. The master bathroom window was broken in the open position. Julio closed it but it remained broken and there's no fan in the bathroom, so no airflow. Acme and its staff were great, but for the price the house should have not had these issues.

  Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mostly enjoyable. The window in the master bathroom needs repair and the curtain in the main bedroom as well. Otherwise all was great. A few light bulbs need replacement.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was basically a tired house.Two fans didn't work properly. One wouldn't turn off. The other seemed like it would fly off the ceiling when at full speed. Also the icemaker didn't work The first morning upon waking I discovered water cascading off the roof. Apparently the solar panels had a problem. It was fixed, although it continued to drip throughout my stay. All the towels and handcloths were rough and the color of gray dirty rags. Odd. On the flip side it had a lovely yard and pool. Unfortunately they didn't fix the fans or icemaker during my stay.

  Wonderful place to escape the dreary OR winters! Perfect location, wonderful outdoor space. I pretty much lived out on the lanai! Everything was wonderful, we hope to make this house a yearly escape.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We stayed at "Tropical Paradise" over the New Years Eve weekend and couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Some friends flew in from all over the U.S. to come together in the spirit of friendship, good health and relaxation. Tropical Paradise provided all this and more. So often you stay in a rental and you're only provided with the basic amenities. This was not the case with this condo. The owners paid great attention to detail and went above and beyond to make their home feel comfortable and enjoyable. Some of our favorite house details include: TV outside, beautiful fire place, juicer for the grapefruits (from the tree outside!), beautiful lights over the patio and great kitchen and grill to cook in. Thank you Bruce for being so prompt in our correspondence--your concern with the well being of your clients was very apparent. We will come back again and are already missing this little slice of heaven!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  Me and some of my girlfriends rented this home celebrating one of the girls and it was perfect. The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The patio and pool were private and we spent most of our time there. In fact after we bought food and drinks, we found that we never left the house the rest of the weekend. The owners are very easy to work with and were responsive. We will be back soon!!! Thank you!!

  My wife and I stayed the week between Christmas and New Years and we had a great time since the rain California was getting stopped before we arrived. The house was great, the pool was very nice and relaxing, and the back yard afforded us complete privacy where we spent most of our time lounging by the pool. Although we had a few issues, the owner Bruce rectified the situation to our satisfaction. We will return in the future.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
