  Exceeded all owner's descriptions! This cottage is super cute, very clean and very close to fabulous North Shore beaches. Just what we needed as a couple to escape and reconnect. Private gated grass back yard with private gated steps down to a mesmerizing bathtub bay with peach colored sands where crabs come out to play in the early morning. Excellent location for families with young kids too as the backyard is gated allowing beach access only when mom or dad opens the gate to the stairs. The natural rock atoll creates a shallow warm water bathtub beach that is safe way for little ones to play in Hawaiian waters. Cottage location is quite literally a short walk across the two lane highway from the Polynesian Cultural Center. The manager is kind, friendly and went out her way to help us when we needed an extra night. We are hoping to bring the entire family back someday to stay in the larger house next door for a one-of-akind Hawaiian Christmas.

  We were just here last week, and the only problem with this rental is we didn't stay long enough! We came to Hawaii for my husbands work, and may be coming back in Aug and we will definitely try to stay here. Studio is small, but very clean, very functional for two people, awesome back porch, lawn and a beach access. Beach is great too, every morning we woke up to the beautiful sunrise and saw seals laying on the coral reef right out front. If you need more room, there are rentals on either side a little bigger. Lots to do around that area and it's in a great location. Property manager Martha was also great to work with.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  This was a fantastic vacation at a wonderfully kept beach home. the property manager was rite next door so we had all questions answered as soon as they came up, the view is as described-the sea is the back yard and the entire island is less than an hr away. from whale watching from the back deck to golf and all the northshore beaches one needs more time to stay here.We highly recommend this place and hope to return son.

  We LOVED staying in Laie. It was such a great little town to stay and much more relaxing than staying in Honolulu. It is a little bit of a drive from Honolulu, about an hour or so, but we didn't mind. It was about right in the middle of all of the attractions that my husband and I wanted to see. Really close to the famous Ted's Bakery that was on the TV show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It was AMAZING! Also close to one of the shrimp trucks that was also on that show, Giovanni's. The condo is extremely easy to find, right off the main road. It is directly across from the Polynesian Cultural Center so we could just walk over. Martha was extremely nice when we arrived and showed us around the condo. It is a very humble little place, but very clean and very neat. The view from the back door is absolutely beautiful and has a little beach. The owner of the condo, Victoria, is extremely helpful and nice. They have WiFi internet, which was really nice. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. It was perfect for my husband and I, and we could not be happier with out stay!

  My husband and I stayed In the studio for 9 nights and we had a wonderful time on our vacation. The studio and pictures are decribed exactly how everything was we did encounter an electric problem no fault of anyone but alot of rain before we got to Hawaii but Victoria and Martha did everything in their power to make it right. Things happen on vacation and they exceeded our expectations. Thank you to both of them. The location was great, very convenient to alot of activities or sitting on the lanaii and watching the ocean what a beautiful sight everyday. Thanks again Victoria and Martha for a vacation of a lifetime. Jeff and Beth North Dakota

  The studio was so pleasant and comfortable! Just right for a couple. Having your own personal beach off of the patio and lovely backyard is great! And if you want to go and check out some of the famous beaches nearby, you are very close to them. Having the Polynesian Cultural Center just across the street is another big plus... just walked across! Martha and her husband are right there to welcome you and provide any assistance you need. Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! We had a wonderful time!

  The house and grounds were very well looked after by Martha and Keld. The location couldn't be any better. With the 2 reefs, the waves are never too big so our 20 month old son loved playing in the water and the waves didn't throw him around. You could even do some snorkelling right there. We didn't find any noise from the cultural centre even though it was right across the street. It's a quiet town and easy to get around. We enjoyed driving around to different places every day but enjoyed the quietness of the house when we got back. The grassy area on the beach side of the house also provided an excellent playing area for our son to run around in and it was fully protected from him getting down to the water. Martha was excellent with making sure our safety was looked after. She came and woke us up when we had to evacuate due to a tsunami. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would certainly return.

  Only a few steps from the beach with the soothing sound of breaking waves easily heard in the unit, this was the ocean-front cottage we had hoped for. The beach was secluded, the water warm, the waves tame and the view amazing, especially at sunrise. We were near stores but well away from the crowds of Honolulu. The cottage is small but comfortable for two. The kitchen area is efficient and the provided wi-fi as well as the washer and dryer were greatly appreciated. The property manager was friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Laie. We highly recommend this cottage for an out-of-the-way stay on busy Oahu.

  This studio was perfect for two people who want to stay right on the beach. Beautiful views, great location on the north shore. Place was small but perfect for my husband and myself. Very clean, had everything you needed. Didn't have a very large table for eating but that way I didn't have to cook much! First time visitors to Hawaii should avoid Honolulu side of island and stay here on the north shore!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
