Thank you so much for allowing our family to be your guest over Christmas 2011 in this spectacular house. The six of us could not have been more comfortable; the bedrooms were huge and airy, the living/dining/kitchen area is set up perfectly, and the 4 baths was exactly what was needed to get us out of the house in the morning. This was our 4th trip to Hawaii (both our daughters went to school breifly at U of H) and this was by far out best experience. Kauai is a beautiful island, with plenty to see and do without the crowds and associated mayhem associated with Oahu and Maui. We will be back. Thanks again.

WE all had a great time and your house was perfect in every way. This is the fourth time we've traveled together and one of the best places so far for providing everything we needed! And we do mean everything!!! We fixed several meals and it was so nice to find all the spices we needed and cooking utensils, dishes and pots and pans! Also all the various items in the garage for using at the beautiful beach just a few steps away!!! The house was very clean and comfortable. Loved the views from upstairs and feel so blessed to have spent the week in your beautiful home!

The house was perfect for our family. The set up is perfect with a bathroom for every bedroom, well supplied kitchen, great family/dining room. The lanai was perfect for morning breakfast and evening wine, and the kids loved the yard. We explored the island, but our favorite spot was poipu snorkeling with the beautiful fish, turtles and monk seals and this beautiful house. We were so sad to leave, but are looking forward to our next trip. I highly recommend this property.

What an absolutely wonderful family vacation spot! We all loved your beautiful spacious home. It was so well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at the houses, so we really appreciated the grill and the well-equipped kitchen. It was nice to have beach towels and boogie boards and even a wading pool for our 1-1/2 year old. We spend a lot of time right here at the beach, snorkeling and swimming. Saw several sea turtles. Took a coupld of day trips--to Ke'e Beach on the north end of the island and to Waimea Canyon and Kalalau Lookout. The best part, though, was being together as a family, and your house certainly made that easy. Mahalo!! We all LOVE Kauai and hoep to be back.

Thanks to all for fulfilling another part of my bucket list. Bill Jones, age 80. Gail, my wife, is quite the planner and with my stepson and his wife, and the Taylors, a great time was had by all. Nine year old Evan was diagnosed with Type I diabetes just two weeks ago. So we weren't sure if we could come. The doctors & staff at the hospital said go and have fun and that's exactly what Evan did! You made a lot of that possible. Thank you all so much.

On our second trip to Kauai--our second stay at Maluhia--it simply felt like coming home. Our twin daughters (age 5) love it here so much that they have already started pouting when we talk about going home. Two years after our first visit, the house is still as well stocked as ever with some new additions even! And I thing there are a few more geckos than last time! With our young children we had a great time at Poipu Beach and Salt Pond Beach. Mahalo!

"Peace on Earth" is what we found here! We left the cold weather and stress of work and came to your beautiful home where we relaxed, got WARM, and rejuvenated. Your home is so inviting--best parts were having breakfast together (husband, daughter, son, & daughter-in-law and myself) on the lanai. Loved napping on the chaise out there, and wathcing the rain showers fall through the sunlight was refreshing. Sitting on the upstairs balcony alone was peaceful...it seemed like the stars were closer here and even twinkled brighter. Best house and best location ever! We hope to return here. Can't wait to come back.

Thank you for such a wonderful place to relax. Sitting on the lanai with coffee is good--listening to the roar of the surf just steps away. Very conveniently located for a daytrip tup to Kokee State Park and a walk on a trail or another daytrip up and around to Hanalei Bay and the end of the road at Ke'e Beach. Sure beats sitting at home in a blizzard. We very much enjoyed our week here. Again, Thank You.

Your wonderful house made our time in Poipu so relaxing and fun! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful treasures in your home. Fabulous property! Very close to beach. One of the best sea turtle watching spots is only a few hundred yards away. House is stocked with everything you need - washer/dyer & detergent, full kitchen (utensils, pots & pans, tableware, coffee maker, spices, etc.), barbecue, wireless internet, tv & stereo, etc. Coolers and boogie boards are in the garage so save yourself some money by stopping at the Costco by the airport and stocking up on the basics. We ate breakfast at "home" every day and saved quite a bit of money and time. Accommodations were very comfortable. We had six adults were in our party. There is a nice breeze. It was much more economical to stay here than at a hotel, but we also felt more comfortable with plenty of room to relax. Everyone wanted to come back!

Staying in your home was the best part of our vacation. My favorite feature was all of the windows providing cross breezes. It was heavenly to have the windows open all the time. All the amenities made us feel like guests in your home. Our girls loved the view from their room. Great design -- going to use some of your features whenever we build our own home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. However, we had an abrupt awakening at 6:00am Saturday 2/27/10 when the Civil Defense siren jolted us from our beds, warning us of an impending Tsunami, a result of the earthquake in Chile. We hurriedly packed up our belongings and spent the day in Koloa. Other than that bit of frenzy we leisurely visited areas of the island and spent most of our time on the beach, seeing both monk seals and sea turtles on the beach. Thank you So much. Clyde Hill, WA

Dear Jim, We are so happy that we checked out vrbo.com three weeks ago and found your home that had a recent cancellation. You were right! This place is better than the Hyatt! We had such a relaxing time -- hiking, swimming, boogie boarding (thanks for all the gear), snorkling, cooking our own meals and listening to the waves when we fell asleep. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We honeymooned here on Kauai 14 years ago and it's great to be back with our three kids! Mahalo! Ps. I enjoyed going to the beach every day. Me and my dad went snorkling and we saw many colorful fish and 2 sea turtles. When I was here I got to read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for the second time. I love that book! The house is great. Thanks a lot.
