You will be able to snorkel and see tropical fish and Sea Turtles. For a day trip, head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Take a peak at an explosion captured on film in the Kilauea Visitor's Center. Head down the Chain of Craters Road and look for flowing lava. and explore the Thurston Lava Tube, the fern forests, and the other natural phenomena of the area. About One Hour Drive. Front Deck has Glass Panels so that it does not block the Ocean view while you are sitting and enjoying the deck.

The Unique Benefits at this Oceanfront Home
The unique things about our home is that we built this home from the ground up and got to design the floor plans & all the beautiful decorations. The best part about this home is the large Warm Private Aquatic Pond & gorgeous tropical fish! We enjoy relaxing at this home because of the beautiful Ocean views on the 2nd Level Deck & Comfortable Living Room. We have 3 bedrooms all on the 2nd level, so lots of wonderful ocean & tropical views from each room. Some of the family gets to enjoy the many spacious lower level room. We have a fun Pool Table also!
We all enjoy going into Pahoa Town & have a nice dinner or lunch either at LuQuin's Mexican Bar & Restaurant, Ning's Thai, or a more formal dining we would go to Kaleo's Restaurant. During the day, we try to make it to the Natural Steam-Vents from the Volcano often and my daughters usually makes it down to Pohiki (Issac Park) & go surfing for half a day. Fun Sunset activity, we would go down to the Lava Fields at the end of Kapoho-Kalapana Highway & walk to the newly formed beaches, & on the way back in the dark look at the Kiluea Volcano & try to see the lava flowing down the mountain but remember to bring a flashlight, it’s extremely dark!

My wife & I are originally from California and I am a retired Veterinarian & Real Estate Investor. My wife is a wonderful Horse Woman & Trainer, which she continues to follow what she loves at our 15-minute away Kapoho Ranch.
We fell in love with Kapoho & we moved out here start our retirement. We use to have a Sea Turtle in the pond of our current home in Kapoho and it is because of her that we have embraced Hawaii so much more.
We've developed a small business with few vacation homes down in Kapoho and we enjoy providing the opportunity for others to experience Kapoho like we have. Our daughters have grown up & went to college out here in UHH & UHM. They love the beautiful ocean. We all enjoy the fun nature activities all around us: Surfing, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Diving, Spear-Fishing, Fishing & exploring the Tropical surroundings in the community.

Greetings from Belle's Cottage- Portland, OR Our groups came to celebrate our 10th year of existence. We are a supported living home, advocating and facilitating life for a woman living with autism. Belle had a great time in the lagoon. She loved the warm water, sparkling fish, and volcanic rocks. Our trip was escorted by the full moon. So we knew we'd have a lovely time. The many thoughtful amenities, i.e. laundry soap, towels, working appliances, books and DVDs were much appreciated. The Daily paper was great too! Mahalo!

This vacation home was spectacular! This was my 1st time to HI and also our 4 month old daughters and this home was a perfect resting spot for us as my husband took us on many adventures. The snorkeling and volcano were by far my favorite adventures. Your home was perfect and we will for sure be back to visit again soon (hopefully 6 months or sooner!).

Bonjour! I loved this place! There was the most amazing view from the lanai and I loved swimming with the fish. Watching the eat was super funny! I am really sad to be leaving but I hope to come back someday.... Even if I don't you can "Sara Hashman stayed here" when I am famous. And I swear, someday I WILL be famous.... So mahalo and merci for the wonderful time and even though those coqui frogs were incredibly annoying I loved the entire time I was here. We saw barracuda too, that was coolish. Soon to be famous, remember that! Oh also, I am sad I didn't get to see Autherena....
