Visit the traditional, quaint nearby towns of Highlands and Cashiers while staying on Lake Glenville. Lake Glenville, at 3800 feet elevation has 26 miles of shoreline, is 4.5 miles long and over 1,460 acres is spring fed by 5 mountain streams. You can enjoy the refreshing 72 degree water while jet skiing, tubing, fishing and boating. The glistening shoreline of Lake Glenville has waterfalls, a Christmas tree farm, and beautiful picturesque homes.
This waterfront, a-frame vacation cabin is nestled among the large, old pines has the master bedroom (with a extremely comfortable king size bed)and bath downstairs. Upstairs in the loft are 2 twin beds, a trundle bed(pulls out from underneath) and a second bath. You can take your steaming, hot coffee outside in the screened-in porch to curl up with a good book or go out on the large, adjacent deck to enjoy the view. The cabin has a fireplace, wireless internet and all the amenities of home. The dock is large enough to hold table and chairs, the 2 kayaks included for your enjoyment, and many, very fortunate people! The dock will provide hours of entertainment for the kids. The are even jet ski davits, if you want to bring your jetski. A separate marina and pavilion, lakeside for larger get togethers or to launch your boat or jet ski. Marina rules apply.

We had a wonderful time. The big porch was perfect for watching the sunset over the lake. The private dock was great for sunbathing, kayaking and cool dips in the lake. The location was just minuts from downtown Cashiers. We hiked Grandfather mountain which is a nice easy hike with incredible views. We swam in the pool below Silver Falls and went tubing. Its a great area and wonderful cabin get away.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
